As previously reported Cynthia and her sportscaster sweetie Mike Hill made it all the way official Friday when Mike popped the question with at the grand opening of her new business, The Bailey Wine Cellar. Now more details are being released about Cynthia’s engagement ring. According to US Weekly Mike proposed with a 5-carat princess cut solitaire ring. They add that the setting alone retails at $14,036, and the five-carat center stone is valued at $70,000. That brings the total of the ring to approximately $85,000. The 18k white gold piece is Simon G. Jewelry and was purchased at Solomon Brothers. “I am so excited and in shock!” Cynthia told Us Weekly about her big news. “I had no idea that Mike was going to propose tonight! He and our beautiful daughters and Courtney got me real good and I’m so happy that my friends and family were here to witness everything. Wow! For this year’s festivities, 21 is partnering with Amazon Music, Leading by Example Foundation, and Momma Flystyle for the event that takes place on Sunday, August 4. Source: Edward Olive / EyeEm / Getty A Passenger Accidentally Killed Driver During A Drive-By According to the Chicago Sun Times , a mandied after he was accidentally shot by his own passenger on the South Side of Chicago. Matthew Gibson, 26, was reportedly pronounced dead at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the Cook County medical examiner’s office announced. The alleged passenger who shot him , has been charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, and is expected to face a murder count, according to Cook County prosecutors. Lee, 27, of Englewood, was denied bail during a hearing on Tuesday. Gibson was driving when he pulled alongside a white SUV waiting to make a left turn, prosecutors said. Lee, was seated in the front passenger seat and began firing at the SUV with a .40-caliber handgun and accidentally shot Gibson in the head.. Even with the gunshot wound, Gibson was able to drive more than two miles to the 6700 block of South Marshfield. A 22-year-old man was also wounded in the shooting. His death was ruled a homicide. Lee was paroled April 21 after serving eight years for a 2011 conviction for aggravated battery with a handgun, according to Illinois Department of Corrections records.
Last month, Fernanda Flores posted a 44-minute video to explain why she and Jonathan Rivera split. She made it clear that they’ve both moved on. Jonathan has himself a new girlfriend and has not been shy about their adventures together. But it turns out that Fernanda’s new venture may be a little less glamorous than the modeling career that many had assumed. Fernanda is a gorgeous young model living in Chicago, she’s newly divorced, and she even has a boost to her name thanks to 90 Day Fiance fame. The world is her oyster, right? Maybe not. Earlier this week, reports began to circulate that Fernanda was spotted waitressing in Chicago. While it’s true that many bartenders and waitresses are hired in part for their looks, it’s definitely not the same as being a model. Now, the tales of her employment have been confirmed. An eagle-eyed fan spotted Fernanda and was actually served by her at The Shore Club in Chicago. This was on July 4 — the day on which Fernanda posted a photo of herself in red and blue beside a massive beach ball. The fan contacted 90 Day Fiance blogger and unsung hero John Yates and even DMed him some photos, which he shared to Instagram. That looks like Fernanda to us. What’s more is that the fan even volunteered an assessment of what Fernanda was like. “I don’t think she was thrilled I was taking pictures,” the fan confesses to John Yates. “But I was drunk,” the fan explains. “And had to prove it to my friends.” For the record, taking photos of a public figure — like a reality star — is not the same as Alex From Target -ing someone. Still, please be respectful. The fan had nothing but nice things to say about Fernanda. “Even more gorgeous in person,” the fan assesses. “And was working her ass off!” Fernanda didn’t come to America for the American dream, strictly speaking. She came here for love. (People love to accuse her of being a golddigger, but even Jonathan has dismissed those accusations) She lost that love, and now she’s living … well, not the American dream, but the reality of American life. Being a waitress or a bartender or working in food services in any capacity is hard. Customers , as a group, are the worst people on earth. Anyone willing to look them in their soulless eyes and smile is courageous and a dedicated worker. Good for Fernanda for finding gainful employment, particularly in an economy in which one job is so rarely enough to keep you afloat. Her primary goal, we’re sure, is to be able to pay her bills and continue to live her life. That’s how jobs work. But this will also go a long way towards showing people that she didn’t come to the US to lounge around like a princess. We’re sure that she’s still modeling — she’s too gorgeous to not be modeling, really. But if she needs a steadier income to keep a roof over her head or to keep her bills paid, she chose a fine line of work. Congratulations on the new job, Fernanda. They may be known as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills … … but not to Ken Todd. To Ken Todd, the long-time husband of veteran reality star Lisa Vanderpump, they should really be known as The Real Backstabbers Who Totally Suck of Beverly Hills. On the occasion of his very own birthday this past Sunday, Todd took to Twitter and absolutely blasted each and every one of his wife’s co-stars. Or former co-stars, we should now write, considering Vanderpump left the Bravo franchise this month after nine memorable seasons. “Yes, it’s my birthday and normally positive things happen on this day! So I would like to get some things off my chest,” Ken opened his viral rant, continuing as follows: “It’s a year next month that all the negativity against my wife started. I know I am not the most eloquent writer — I see and speak in simple terms. “This year, there has been a huge amount of nastiness that has pushed my wife to the brink. When, at a time in her life like this, she needed her friends!” The past several months really have been challenging for Vanderpump. Her brother, Mark, died from a drug overdose last spring — and, while grieving personally, Lisa has since butted heads with several of her castmates, including Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Teddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne. Perhaps most notably, Vanderpump was at the center of PuppyGate, an actual scandal in which Dorit Kemsley adopted a pet from Vanderpump Dogs… alleged that it nipped at her kids… and then returned it to a shelter, instead of two Lisa’s aforementioned organization. From there, Vanderpump was accused of leaking a story about Kemsley’s dog to the press, an act she has since denied. She even took a lie detector on air to prove her innocence . Added Todd in his diatribe yesterday: “What really irks me is the hypocrisy of this whole matter. “The very PUBLIC issues — lawsuits, over 50 million dollars of them, loans in default, rehab, business misdoings, bankruptcies — have all been swept under the carpet. “Lifestyles paid for with other people’s money, I call bullsh-t!” Todd did not cite any Bravo personalities by name in his message. However, the only time anyone’s financial matters were brought up during shooting was on the second-to-last episode of this season, where Camille Grammer accused Kemsley and her husband of owing a friend of hers $1 million. Grammer also wondered how Kemsley could afford all of her expensive cars and clothes given her alleged knowledge that PK is bankrupt. Again, Todd does not mention this incident in particular. But he does touch on PuppyGate , specifically to how Lisa and her team helped pass House Resolution 401, which calls for an end to the dog and cat meat industry. “It disgusts me that the very fact that a resolution passed through Congress, in an attempt to save thousands of dogs worldwide, was brushed aside — years of our work was ignored as all the focus was on just one dog (that is now in a happy home, not biting, pecking or whatever you choose to call it). “I am not asking for anything now, not even 5 grand owed to our dog charity. But I am asking for this hatred to stop! I didn’t want my wife to go to the reunion as it has been bullying. “Yes, I used that word, bullying, because that is what this nonstop attack has been.” The $5,000 Ken mentions here is the fee Vanderpump Dogs charges people whose adopted puppies end up anywhere other than at their rescue center. It was a fee Vanderpump and Todd initially waived when they found out Dorit’s puppy, Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, ended up at what they claim was a high-kill shelter in Orange County as part of PuppyGate. “It sickened me to see my wife in tears and I am proud of her even doing the Angel Food when she has been so down,” Ken added in regard to LVP’s weekend appearance at a Project Angel Food charity event. He then went into the allegation Grammer made during the season and then accused Kyle Richards of saying off camera — that Vanderpump has “bad breath.” Seriously, dude went deep in this rant. “To now attack her personal hygiene disgusts me, I could put it out here that my wife’s breath is as sweet as she is, as I am the one who kisses her daily I should know,” Ken wrote. “I am so angry as it is a vile lie…like so many other things that have been said about her. “Attacking our [kids’] businesses, Vanderpump Rosé, which we have all worked hard on is just mean spirited! It’s in some of the best restaurants in the world.” In conclusion? “Their pettiness says everything. There are so many things WE could’ve said but haven’t… ‘So it’s not just Goodbye Kyle that I want to say…it’s goodbye to all of the vicious nastiness…there I feel much better now. While this popular family breaks one giant piece of pregnancy news after another, Amy and husband Dillon have made it clear they’re just too anxious and excited to keep one juicy tidbit about their impending child a secret. They simply had to come out this weekend and make the reveal. They had to alert all followers to their son’s first and middle name! “Baby K has a name!!!” Amy wrote as a caption yesterday to the following image, adding: Baby Dax we cannot wait to meet you!! You already bring so much joy into our lives!! We love you so much Daxton Ryan! So there you have it: Daxton. But it sounds like the young man will go by the nickname Dax. Amy has entered her third trimester and is clearly trying to make the most out of her pregnancy. She waited all the way until the age of 32 to start her family — which is perfectly “normal” and would not be noteworthy at all if she were a member of any other family. Alaskan Bush People is about to add yet another person to its family. Another very small person, that is, at least initially. Gabe Brown and wife Raquell Rose have announced that they’re expecting their first-ever child, breaking this very exciting piece of news to People Magazine via the statement below. We’re so thrilled to share we’re expecting a new addition to our family this November. God has blessed us in so many ways and we can’t wait to meet our little one this fall. The couple did not reveal the gender of its impending little one, but did specify that he or she is due on November 10. Brown’s famous younger sister, Rain, couldn’t help but also make her feelings known, telling this same publication of her brother, her sister-in-law and her future niece or nephew: “Gabe and Raquell are both adventurous, kind souls and I know they will be amazing parents.” We learned late last year that Gabe and Raquel were engaged . They then went ahead and actually got married in January in the state of Washington. This joyous and exciting pregnancy confirmation, however, comes just over a month after the parents-to-be exchanged vows for the second time in an intimate ceremony with friends and family in June. They did so on the five-month anniversary of their first nuptials. Gabriel and Raquell’s baby will be the newest member of this famous and beloved family after Noah Brown and his wife Alisha welcomed their son Elijah Connor Brown back in February. As of Saturday, July 20, the fourth installment in the Avengers franchise had raked in $2.7892 billion at the global box office, which is just about $500,000 shy of Avatar ‘s $2.7897 billion record. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced the big news during San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, confirming that Endgame would close the $500K gap by Sunday. “Thanks to you, Avengers: Endgame is the biggest film of all-time,” he announced during Marvel’s highly-anticipated Hall H panel. Since the film’s initial release back in April, Endgame has broken multiple records, including the fastest film to hit $100 million at the box office, the highest-grossing opening day in history, and the first film to earn $1 billion in an opening weekend. But in order to assure their status as the number one film of all time, the Avengers movie received a boost when it was re-released in theaters with a little extra footage back in June–which is what eventually set Endgame over the top.
