Madonna would like to apologize to anyone who has an issue with her tribute to Prince at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. She understands your criticism and she didn’t mean to offend you and she knows she did not do the late musician proud and… … JUST KIDDING! Does that sound remotely like Madonna to you? Just hours after The Material Girl sang a version of “Nothing Compares 2 U” and then joined Steve Wonder for a duet of “Purple Rain,” BET called out Madonna for what that network deemed to be a terrible performance. Hyping its own Prince tribute at the BET Awards on June 16, this is what the network Tweeted: See the message on the bottom? Pretty harsh, huh? Even before Madonna took to the Billboard Music Awards stage, a change.org petition compiled over 8,000 signatures, urging almost any big name aside from this legendary artist to honor Prince, who died on April 21 at the age of 57. This, despite the fact that Madonna collaborated with Prince back in 1989 and even once dated the superstar. Madonna and Stevie Wonder Honor Prince at Billboard Music Awards What does Madonna have to say to these critics? “Deal with it,” she wrote last night on Instagram alongside a photo of her decked in an all-purple getup. Several hours later, she returned to elaborate via a second post: “Anyone who wants to do a tribute to Prince is welcome to. Whatever your age Gender or skin Color. If you loved him and he inspired you then show it!!!! I love Prince 4 ever.” Sounds pretty reasonable, doesn’t it? With so many awards shows on the docket, we can expect an endless number of Prince-themed performances over the next few months. Instead of criticizing the ones you don’t like, let’s all use them as an opportunity to remember the reason why they exist in the first place: Prince is dead. Prince is an icon. So this is what it looks like when worlds collide. Yes, that’s Chelsea Houska hanging out with Leah Messer’s ex, Jeremy Calvert, and no, we won’t what the hell is going on here either. Judging by their Instagram pages ( Jeremy deleted his social media accounts a few weeks ago, but it seems he’s back now.), Chelsea had a casual backyard BBQ at her house over the weekend – and for some reason, Calvert was in attendance. To make things even weirder, the casual backyard BBQ included some totes chillaxed Botox sessions, as well: Yes, it’s hard to tell just what’s going on here, but Chelsea captioned the photo, “The BBQ just took a weird turn #botoxparty.” So at Chelsea’s house, a laid back Sunday afternoon involves some ribs, some brews, the ex-husband of a friend who lives in a completely different part of the country – and maybe a couple needles in the face. Like we said, it’s not an easy situation to figure out. Obviously, nothing is going on between these two. As she reminds her Instagram followers every chance she gets, Chelsea is engaged to Cole DeBoer . And as he angrily pointed out amidst rumors that he and Leah were on the verge of a reconciliation, Jeremy is still dating Brooke Wehr . Jeremy travels a lot for work, so maybe he was in the area and decided to swing by Chelsea’s party? We’re not sure, but we’d give anything to be a fly on the wall here. Man-Eating African Nile Crocodiles Have Been Found In Florida Florida really is the weirdest stat e in America according to CNN News : A team of scientists has identified three reptiles captured near Miami as Nile crocodiles, a species native to Africa. Through DNA testing, scientists from the University of Florida were able to confirm that the reptiles captured in the wild from 2009, 2011 and 2014 were Nile crocodiles, the second-largest extant reptile species in the world. The findings were published in the journal of Herpetological Conservation and Biology in April. The study could mean that more of these man-eating creatures are lingering in the Sunshine State. “The odds that the few of us who study Florida reptiles have found all of the Nile crocs out there is probably unlikely,” Kenneth Krysko, herpetology collections manager at the Florida Museum of Natural History at the University of Florida, said in a statement. “We know that they can survive in the Florida wilderness for numerous years, we know that they grow quickly here and we know their behavior in their native range, and there is no reason to suggest that would change here in Florida.” Welcome to Florida, folks!!!

Nick Menza, a musician best known as the drummer of Megadeth in the 1990s, died Saturday after reportedly collapsing on stage during a Los Angeles concert. He was 51 years old. According to CNN and other outlets, Menza was playing drums with his band OHM at The Baked Potato on Saturday night, May 21 when he suddenly collapsed during the third song of the set. Paramedics arrived on the scene, but were unable to revive him after trying for 45 minutes. He was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Here is what a statement by Menza’s management team said soon after the tragedy took place. “Nick collapsed during the third song into a set with his band OHM. “Earliest reports indicate he suffered a massive heart attack and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.” The Los Angeles venue itself was among the first to address the sad situation, writing, “RIP Nick Menza,” on its Facebook page. Upon learning of the news on Sunday morning, the band’s co-founder, Dave Muscatine, took to Twitter to mourn his former bandmate. “TELL ME THIS ISN’T TRUE!” he wrote. “I woke at 4 AM to hear Nick Menza passed away on 5/21 playing his drums w/Ohm at the Baked Potato. #nickmenzarip.” Former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman also jumped on media to grieve Menza’s passing. “We all know the great and unique drummer that Nick Menza was, but he was also a trustworthy friend, a hilarious bandmate, as well as a very loving dad,” he wrote, adding: “I’m beyond sad, did not see this coming at all. And while not all the Teen Moms are BFFs, Jenelle Evans was on hand to help Farrah ring in her 25th. Held at House nightclub, the party was a VIP affair. The friends were seen enjoying themselves and jumping on beds in their party attire. Farrah got glammed up in a low-cut red gown with cutout sides while Jenelle kept it more low-key in a black crop top and red shorts. Jenelle’s live-in boyfriend David Eason joined her for the occasion. Ginger Zee has been working hard all season to emerge in the top two of Dancing With the Stars . But now we’re not sure if she’ll be well enough to dance in the finale against rival Nyle DiMarco this Monday. The Good Morning America personality has suffered a serious injury to her pelvis that may prevent her from performing, reports Us Weekly . “Ginger’s injury is really serious,” a source from the show told the magazine. “Right now she can’t rehearse the full dance, and Jenna Johnson is standing in during blocking,” the insider continued. “She will not know until the show on Monday if she can complete the two dances, a contemporary dance and the freestyle.” The meteorologist reportedly became injured while rehearsing last week with partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Zee, who gave birth to son Adrian last December, explained that her pelvis is “very loose and unstable… because I just had a baby.” She is working with a physical therapist to manage the pain and rehabilitate so she can perform in the finale. Training for the dance competition takes a tremendous physical toll and has brought on injuries in a number of performers. Earlier this season, Jodie Sweetin injured her foot after practicing an advanced move with partner Keo Motsepe. Luckily, nothing was broken and she was able to continue in the competition, although she was sent home not long after. Zee’s biggest competition all season has been DiMarco, a fan favorite who has proven to be a remarkable dancer despite being deaf. We would love to see Zee and DiMarco dance off for the mirror ball trophy and give the season a proper finish, but not at the cost of her health.
