Woman Burns Toddler In Oven A Woman in Texas has inexplicably burned her own child. The woman apparently placed her toddler inside the oven inside her home, for completely unknown reasons. Via People : A 35-year-old Texas woman remains in jail Sunday after she was accused last week of placing her 2-year-old in an oven, causing it serious bodily injury, PEOPLE has confirmed. Tasha Shontell Hatcher was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of injury to a child with serious bodily injury, a first-degree felony, the Somervell County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement to PEOPLE. She remains in jail on a $300,000 bond, according to jail officials. Hatcher was arraigned Saturday, according to the statement, but it was not clear if Hatcher had entered a plea to the charge or had retained a lawyer. The child was transported to the Parkland Burn Center in Dallas, but its condition Sunday was not immediately available. Deputies first responded to a call of a burned child about 11:50 p.m. local time Thursday, according to the sheriff’s statement. Witnesses at the scene told deputies that Hatcher “told [the witnesses] that she had put her baby in the oven,” the statement alleges. SMH!! This is the second case of Texas parents putting babies in the oven in the past few months. What is coing on???

I am speechless and grateful. #hamilton #amyschumer” The other bartender, Madeleine DeJohn, said she and her co-workers were completely stunned . “Our house manager gave us her order before the show and we filled it,” she told E! News. “Then at intermission, a member of her party came to the bar with another order and when he handed the receipt to my co-worker, he said ‘Amy wants to make sure you get this.’ My co-worker looked at it and didn’t know what to say.” “We’ve served a lot of celebrities at Hamilton and we’ve received some nice tips but never before had I seen a tip that even came close to this one,” added DeJohn. They have set a the goal of raising $1 million for the International Rescue Committee’s refugee relief program. With Game of Thrones Season 6 set to premiere on Sunday, April 24, this campaign will receive plenty of air time over the coming weeks. “It brings a fictional story of displacement and conflict to a real-life one and hopes viewers will be prompted to donate,” says Katherina Rosqueta, executive director of the Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania. “And it’s bringing the cause to the audience, rather than the audience to the cause.” The PSAs, such the one posted below, will air exclusively online, where Game of Thrones, of course, has a loyal and devoted following. Woman Leads Cops On Police Chase In Scooby Doo Van A California woman led law enforcement officers on a pursuit in a van painted to look like the ‘Mystery Machine’ from the Scooby Doo cartoon according to KRCRTV reports: On Sunday at 12:50 p.m., a probation officer with Shasta County Probation contacted Redding Police Department regarding Sharon Kay Turman, 51, wanted for a probation violation. According to police, Turman was found operating the 1994 Chrysler minivan painted teal and green in the area of California Street and Shasta Street. When officers tried to conduct a traffic stop, Turman took off in the van, said police. A pursuit began as Turman sped through South Market Street, said police. The chase came to a stop near Buenaventura and Highway 273, but Turman continued to speed southbound on Highway 273, said police. According to police, Turman drove through an intersection against a red light hitting four other vehicles. The California Highway Patrol helicopter later located the van at Hill Drive just north of Anderson. Officers said Turman then continued the chase through the city of Anderson and onto Interstate 5 at speeds over 100 mph. Turman’s current whereabouts are unknown. She is wanted by the Redding Police Department as well as Shasta County Probation. Damn, Velma hasn’t aged well at all!
