Just when we thought we couldn’t possibly be more worried about Catelynn Lowell … Buckle up, because the sadness is coming all over again. As you likely know, Catelynn has been staying in a treatment center for the past few weeks, getting help for her issues with depression and anxiety. She’s been open for years now about her mental illnesses, and how after she gave birth to her second daughter, Nova, postpartum depression nearly wrecked her. She had Nova in January of 2015, and it wasn’t until March of 2016 that she finally made the step to get treatment the first time. Unfortunately, we’re seeing now that she still struggles with depression. On November 17th, she tweeted “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment.” She elaborated on this in a statement she released to a few media outlets, explaining that “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself.” She said that that day she had “thought of every way possible to commit suicide… from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole.” “Thank GOD I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER… thank god I am self aware… I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better.” Catelynn traveled down to Arizona, accompanied by Tyler, and they got her checked into rehab . She stayed there through Thanksgiving and into the beginning of this month, but as a source revealed earlier this week, she planned on checking out early on Friday, against doctor’s orders . “It wasn’t planned for Catelynn to get out,” the source revealed. “They had a group/family session during their visit and Catelynn pretty much said she wanted to go home.” The insider also claimed that though she was “no longer on suicide watch,” her counselors still believed that “more time in treatment would be beneficial.” Tyler was reportedly concerned about her decision to leave treatment early, but the issue was that Cate felt guilty about being away from her family, especially little Nova, during the holidays. So did she end up coming home? She hasn’t posted anything on social media announcing her return, but Tyler did share this photo on Snapchat: “Cuddles with my family is just the best!” he gushed about the photo of Catelynn and Nova lying on him — and it looks like they’re in their own house. But another post he made on Snapchat has us pretty concerned. Last night, he posted a series of videos while driving down a highway. He captioned the video “My song to Cate,” and he filmed the road while the entirety of Chord Overstreet’s “Hold On” played. If you’re not familiar with the song, let’s take a look at some of lyrics, all right? The first verse contains phrases like “I can’t imagine a world with you gone” and “I’d be so lost if you left me alone,” so it’s not really a great start. “You locked yourself in the bathroom,” the verse continues, “Lying on the floor when I break through. I pull you in to feel your heartbeat. Can you hear me screaming ‘please don’t leave me’?” It sounds like it’s a song about a guy whose girlfriend made a suicide attempt, which is pretty alarming, considering what Catelynn’s been going through . I swear to love you all my life. Hold on, I still need you.” We’re not exactly sure what’s going on with this precious little family, but we still wish them all the best right now.
With the holiday season upon on, families everywhere are looking for extra attention/posting about memories and good cheer on Facebook. In this, the Duggars are certainly no exception, though their fans’ attention to detail is quite exceptional – and may have uncovered a conspiracy. (Not the fact that they sing “Happy Birthday” to Jesus instead of trimming a tree, although that could be discussion-worthy another time.) No, a throwback photo they shared of some of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s younger daughters was what whipped fans into a frenzy. The Inquisitr noted Thursday that the picture (below) shows the girls in Christmas dresses with one of their little brothers behind them. Cute, right? Obviously. Innocent, right? Mostly. Duggar Internet detectives quickly realized that this was the year Josh was away at his Christian-oriented sex rehab hard labor camp . You know, the place in Illinois he was shipped off to after he was exposed as a child molester, adulterer and porn addict back in 2015. Just a coincidence? Much ado about nothing? Very possibly, but first, some background: Reformers Unanimous, the “Christian rehab” center where Josh, now 29, addressed his myriad sexual problems, was always controversial. Those familiar with RU say it that their staff has no actual psychologists, calling it another case of the Duggars handling things “in-house.” In any case, Josh was allegedly sequestered there for months, while his wife Anna moved in with her in-laws at their Arkansas compound. The Inquisitr notes that their four children shared the room as the younger Duggar daughters and the older unmarried girls at this time. Which brings us to the photo, taken around Christmas of that year, and which conveniently crops out the head of the adult male in the back. Now, we can’t prove who that is. Maybe it’s Josh Duggar, maybe it’s not, but that’s not the only reason some fans are wondering whether he attended rehab at all. Earlier reports indicated that Josh, now a father of five, “left for at least some time” during his extended stay in the Illinois facility. Most legitimate rehab facilities have strict policies determining when people can and cannot leave the premises, so that’s already suspicious. Moreover, the Duggar family specifically stated that year that Josh could not leave Reformers Unanimous until his treatment was completed. Since he couldn’t leave, allegedly, Anna Duggar would be visiting him regularly there. We were led to believe that this happened. All of this could be conjecture, but given the way the family handles matters like this, the whole thing was always shrouded in mystery. Is it a stretch to assume that he was simply sequestered in some sort of home confinement while the family concocted this rehab ruse? Probably. But would you really put it past a man (Jim Bob) who was clearly reluctant to address Josh’s sexual issues head-on for years? In any case, it raises a series questions: If Josh Duggar wasn’t actually in rehab, where the heck was he? If he was there, did he just leave and come back whenever he chose? If that’s the case, what kind of facility is this, and did he get any real help while he was there? Can you trust anything this family claims? The couple exchanged vows Sunday evening in a luxurious ceremony in Austin, Texas. The bride wore a custom Vera Wang gown down the aisle, as singer Tank serenaded the audience with his rendition of ‘At Last.’ Attendees of the ceremony captured Luckett and her new hubby getting down at the reception: Luckett &Walker’s whirlwind romance was kept from the public eye until about three months ago when the ‘Back To Life’ singer flashed her sparkly engagement ring on Instagram, prompting fans to question ‘who is her new mystery fiance?’ Days later, Luckett revealed their love story in an exclusive to Essence Magazine, telling the publication she and Tommicus Walker met after a prophetic word from Pastor John Gray saying, ‘her husband is on his way.’ After being introduced by friends, the pair spoke for weeks over the phone without ever seeing a photo of the other and bonded through conversation and their love of God.
