Beyonce Celebrates At Post Superbowl Party While bigots boycotted and cried white tears over Bey’s unabashedly Black contribution to the Super Bowl halftime show last night…Bey was busy two-stepping the night away in a room full of A-listers at a private party in San Jose. EDM DJ/producer Diplo, who co-produced Bey’s hit “Run The World (Girls),” caught Bey’s celebration on his SnapChat. He was already stanning for Bey from the stands during the halftime show: And was able to be one of the few to capture Bey triumphantly enjoying her own jam “Formation” at a star-studded Super Bowl afterparty on his SnapChat: Before apparently having a moment to dance with her to his own hit song and secure his ability to die happy: Nice. Super Bowl 50 sucked. The Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers by compiling under 200 yards of total offense and converting one third downs all game. It was a sloppy, boring game that didn’t feature a touchdown from farther than two yards away. But there were at least a few things that saved the Super Bowl, as an event , from being a total letdown. And one of those things was Clete Blakeman . The well-chiseled referee made a variety of calls on the field, but those were nothing compared to the phone calls going around from female viewer to another, each asking the same thing: Who is Clete Blakeman? And is he single?!? Speaking of hot men… MATT DAMON IS BACK AS JASON BOURNE! Sorry. But we’re a tad bit excited. And we think you will be, too, after seeing the Jason Bourne trailer that debuted during the big game: Jason Bourne Trailer Prior to kickoff, of course, Lady Gaga blew us away with a national anthem that actually had people comparing it to the iconic Whitney Houston version from 1991. Very sad news today out of Hollywood: Daniel Gerson, an Academy Award-winning screenwriter who co-wrote Monsters, Inc., passed away Saturday at home in Los Angeles. He was 49 years old. Best known for collaborating with Robert L. Baird on Disney-Pixar films, Gerson was also responsible for Monsters University and Big Hero 6, winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature for the latter. But Monsters, Inc. was his biggest commercial success, earning $562 million around the world, along with four Academy Award nominations. Gerson’s family announced this sad news in a New York Times obituary. Other well-known films on the screenwriter’s resume include Chicken Little (2005), Cars (2006), Up (2009) and Inside Out (2015). Gerson grew up on the Upper West Side in New York City and attended Cornell University and New York University film school after that. He later started his career as a writer on such TV shows as the NBC sitcom Something So Right and Fox Family’s The New Addams Family. We send our condolences to his friends, family members and loved ones. He is survived by his wife, two children and parents and was working on Cars 3 when he passed away.
