Report: Texas continues to execute mentally retarded prisoners

It is unconstitutional to execute mentally retarded prisoners in the United States. The state of Texas, however, appears to have found a loophole, according to a published report. Psychologist George Denkowski, an expert witness oft-used by Texas prosecutors, has been utilizing “junk science” to elevate the intelligence evaluation scores of mentally deficient death row prisoners, according to a new report in The Texas Observer.

The gender imbalance among newborns is the most serious demographic problem for the country's population of 1.3 billion, says the academy. By Romain Raynaldy (AFP) LOS ANGELES — Opponents and defenders of homosexual marriage in California go toe to toe Monday in a potentially epic court showdown that could decide the future of gay unions in the United States. The plaintiffs are challenging Proposition 8, whose approval by 52 percent of California voters in a November 2008 referendum annulled a state supreme court decision that authorized homosexual unions. Federal court Judge Vaughn Walker agreed to hear the suit filed by proponents of gay marriage and said it was a constitutional issue that belonged in a federal court, despite objections from those who oppose giving same sex couples the right to marry

6 year old boy MISSING after soaring in balloon has been found alive!

The 6-year-old boy has been identified as Falcon Heene and is the son of the Colorado hot air balloons' creator. Falcon who was reportedly seen by his brother getting inside the experimental aircraft's compartment just prior to it being torn away from its tether causing the hot air balloon to fly away uncontrollably.
