Justin Bieber Co-Hosts The View

Justin Bieber was only given a couple minutes to run down a Top 10 List on The Late Show with David Letterman last night. But the women of The View were far more accommodating to the singer this morning, letting him actually walk out on stage with them and treating him like one of their own. With the star on hand to promote his new perfume, Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked Justin to sing her something (he obliged with a few notes of “Never Say Never”) and then she challenged him to a Segway race! Who won? Watch and find out: Justin Bieber on The View

Cindy Anthony Testimony Stunner: I Ran Chloroform Search…

Cindy Anthony shocked courtroom observers today when she testified in the trial of her daughter, Casey, and proclaimed: ” I searched for chloroform.” Mrs. Anthony was referring to the revelation that searches for disturbing terms – such as “chloroform” and “neck breaking” – were found in deleted space on the hard drive of the family’s laptop. But Cindy tried to convince jurors today that there was an innocent explanation for it all: “I was searching for ‘chlorophyll’ because I was worried that it might affect my dogs. I was worried about them eating bamboo,” she said, adding about the term chest injuries : “A friend of mine was in a car accident, and I looked up certain injuries… “I did not search for neck breaking, but there was a pop up for a YouTube video of a skateboarder doing a ‘neck breaking’ stunt.” Records suggest that Cindy Anthony was at work at the time of these searches, but Casey’s mother simply said it was “possible” she had returned home from her job by then. Cindy first took the stand on Tuesday in the trial that has captivated millions. Casey Anthony faces the death penalty if found guilty of her daughter’s 2008 death.

The Real Housewives of New York City Recap: Sixteen, Minus the Sweet

Birthdays abound on this week’s Real Housewives of New York. Whose party was the hottest? Whose was a train wreck and who wore the shortest skirt? Read on as we analyze all things Housewives in our +/- review! How many birthday parties can they fit into one episode of Housewives? Three must be a new record and I’ll offer up a Plus 5 for giving equal time to them all. Jill is up first as Luann throws her a surprise birthday party at Chez Josephine. Luann says the venue is red and outgoing and reminds her of Jill Zarin. Ramona finds it claustrophobic and cramped. I simply think the entire party was a train wreck.

30 Seconds To Mars, My Chemical Romance Roll On To Musical March Madness Sweet 16

Linkin Park, Panic! at the Disco also advance, along with underdogs Disturbed and Sum 41 … Sweet 16 voting now open on the Newsroom blog. By James Montgomery My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way Photo: David Wolff – Patrick/ WireImage Two weeks ago, when we tipped off the 2011 Musical March Madness tournament, sixty-four bands entered the fray with championship dreams on their minds. For 32 of those bands, that dream died after one round. And for half of the remaining 32, the dream is over today. Because we’ve reached the Sweet 16, the midway point on the quest for the 2011 MMM title. And while the bands still left standing would no doubt like a moment to recover from their epic battles, as any tournament vet will tell you, there’s no rest for the weary. From here on out, the challenges only get tougher, and the cost of defeat is high: To come so close and leave empty-handed would be a heartbreaker, indeed.

Sum 41 Size Up Coldplay In Musical March Madness

After handling Arcade Fire, Deryck Whibley has eyes on Sweet 16. By James Montgomery Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley Photo: Tim Mosenfelder/ Getty No band has shaken up the 2011 Musical March Madness tournament quite like Sum 41 , the Canadian punk quartet that entered the fray as a lowly #16 seed, then proceeded to run roughshod over heavily favored #1 Arcade Fire in the tourney’s opening round . Now, it’s on to the second round , where Sum faces the unenviable task of taking down another titan: 8th-seeded Coldplay. And with voting now open in the matchup, MTV News decided to ask Sum frontman Deryck Whibley what he thinks about his band’s chances. Can they shock the world once again and earn a berth in the Sweet 16? Turns out, even he’s not sure — mostly because he hasn’t been paying much attention.
