Tameka "Tiny" Cottle: Free T.I.!!

Tiny is royally ticked off at federal prison officials. T.I.’s wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle says the feds are just trying to target and make an example out of her husband by dragging him back to prison . Tiny is speaking out , because “It’s important that the world know how unfair he’s being treated on such minor charges … all because he’s T.I.” According to T.I.’s wife, “There are way more dangerous and carefree [celebrities] that just get slapped on the wrist and sent on their way.” “Our family needs [him] … and because of a personal vendetta, we have to watch our kids’ sad faces everyday when he still doesn’t show up.” Yes and no. T.I. is at fault for brazenly violating his probation last year and ending up back behind bars in the first place. Tiny was arrested, too. On the flip side, being yanked back because of his reality show and taking a tour bus to the halfway house? Now that there is some bull$h!t. He’s done his time. Now free T.I.! [Photo: Fame Pictures]

T.I.: Still Imprisoned Because of Reality Show

Woe is T.I. Justifiably or not, the reality show the rapper was filming totally got him hauled back to prison. Officials believed he had people from the show on the bus that took him to his halfway house – a big no-no, according to official documents. If you’re not familiar with the story, here’s what went down: T.I. was released from prison August 31, under specific instructions to be transported to a halfway house to serve the remaining 30 days of his sentence. The rapper was/is serving 11 months for violating probation in his federal weapons case, after he was pulled over and police found drugs on him last fall. It was stipulated that he could ONLY travel with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and was not allowed to conduct business en route to the halfway house. But prison officials say T.I. also had his manager, along with two VH1 producers on board, chatting about his reality show as well as a book. Not kosher. The VH1 producers and T.I.’s manager have submitted letters claiming they were not conducting business on the road, but prison officials didn’t buy it. Officials were also livid about the rapper’s mode of transportation – a pimp ass tour bus ride – and claim that he did not disclose this prior to departing. However, new photos show him accompanied by a prison guard as he made his way to the bus that carried him and his entourage to the halfway house. T.I.’s legal team believes prison officials targeted T.I. when they picked him up at the halfway house and hauled him back to prison on baseless grounds. His attorneys believe prison officials have trumped up other reasons to justify sending T.I. back, such as who was on board and the reality show plans. Team T.I. claims he had a two-minute, casual conversation with the prison staff months before his release, and that’s when he said Tiny would be there. He never even considered who else might be there at the time, so his lawyers feel it’s absurd to hold him accountable for that now. Stay tuned …

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed Wedding Invitation: Released, Hilarious!

Following a filmed proposal , Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed will get married on October 1 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The couple, who has actually been together for nearly three decades, released its wedding invitation to the world today. And the two-part message is rather laid back and hilarious. First, we have a request for “classy cocktail attire,” with smaller print that adds: “although we know some Rockstar attire will be worn.” Next, we have a family portrait of Simmons, Tweed and their two kids, with writing that includes: “There will no longer be a Team Tweed or a Team Simmons but instead a Team Tweed-Simmons and as annoyingly long as that is, we hope you’re on it.” THG definitely is now.

T.I. Back in Federal Custody After Failing to Disclose Pimp Ass Tour Bus Ride

Only a day after T.I.’s release from prison , the rapper is already back in federal custody, and according to reports, it’s all over a luxury tour bus incident. Say what now? The Federal Bureau of Prisons and T.I.’s lawyer Steve Sadow confirm he’s back in custody after traveling from a federal Arkansas prison to an Atlanta halfway house on a PIMP ASS TOUR BUS, a method of transportation that did not sit well with officials. T.I. was sentenced in October to 11 months in prison for violating probation, but was let out early to finish the rest of his sentence (and film a reality show , which officials are reportedly having none of now) in a halfway house. However, he allegedly misled prison officials into thinking he’d be taking a low-key mode of transportation from the prison to the halfway house. Guess a tricked out tour bus doesn’t qualify a low-key. The deal is this: When a prisoner is incarcerated in a low or medium security prison, officials do at times allow the inmate to use a private, unescorted mode of transportation to travel from the prison facility to the halfway house. During the process of approving such a transfer, however, the prisoner must state specifically what mode of transportation he or she will be using. Sources say that T.I. informed prison officials that he would be taking some sort of van, making no mention of the high-end, pimped out tour bus. Prison officials felt that the rapper should’ve fully disclosed the nature of his party bus, and brought him back to Arkansas for this infraction alone. Neither drugs nor alcohol were found on the bus. Even more amazingly, when U.S. Marshals arrived at the halfway house to bring T.I. back to prison, the halfway house supervisor actually got into an argument with them, saying it was ridiculous to send him back for such a violation.

Tiny On T.I. Being In Federal Custody: “This Is A Bunch Of Bulls**t”

As we reported earlier, the Federal Bureau of Prisons moved T.I. from the Atlanta halfway house he had arrived at yesterday to the Atlanta Federal Prison. Well needless to say, Tip’s wife Tiny is not happy. Tip’s lawyer said the rapper was back in federal custody due to a flap over his use of a luxury bus to report to a halfway house. Tiny is furious and told TMZ that prison officials “walked him over, took pics and told him ‘good luck in life’ and said nothing about the ‘inappropriate’ transportation.’” She added: “This is a bunch of bulls**t … they should have said something before he got on the bus … T.I. would have politely gotten into a van. T.I. is one of the strongest individuals I know … and they just trying to break him in more ways than one and it’s not gonna work! ‘Cause what God got for him, can’t no man take that away … period!” Spotted @ TMZ.com T.I. T.I.’s Final Message From Prison

As we previously reported, T.I. is expected to be released from prison in Arkansas in September. Tip’s final letter to the fans from prison hit the net yesterday. Check out what the King of the South had to say: What up world? This will be my last message from Forrest City. Just reaching out and sending my love, respect and appreciation to all who have been ridin’ with me throughout this chapter in my life and not just recently but since all the things started happening one after another back in ’06. From Big Phil’s murder to my beautiful little angel Leiah being called home to heaven, to my arrest in ’07, the 1st prison sentence in ’09, to this last journey that I’m nearing the end of. A lot of people who are aware of all that has happened to me in my life say that there aren’t many men who could have endured and withstood so much pain, pressure and turmoil while managing to remain sane and keep their wits about them. I must say that I wouldn’t have been able to do so without God’s grace and having a strong support system behind me every step of the way. So often we spend time acknowledging the presence of “haters” and all the negativity they send our way but we don’t take the time to acknowledge and appreciate all the ones who love and support us and supply us with the positive energy we need to overcome. We complain about the pain so much that we don’t even notice how much stronger, wiser and better of a person the suffering has allowed us to become. I heard Pac say once “To live is to suffer and to survive is to find meaning in that suffering.” I later found out it came from an author by the name of Friedrich Nietzsche. When I heard Pac say that it was just some hard shit to hear your favorite rapper say before he kicked a verse. Now that I’ve gone through it and grown from it those words have a real true meaning to me. I know this won’t be my last battle with adversity but it has truly prepared me for whatever else may come in the future. For that also I’m thankful. Now it goes without saying that I hate I had to come back to prison for these 10 months but I am truly grateful for the knowledge, growth and understanding I’ve received from the experience. Next time you hear from me I’ll be back out there with you. Doing for those who can’t do for themselves and speaking for those whose voices are never heard. When I touch down, I’m going all the way back to square one, like I’m fresh in the game and never sold a record. Back on some I’M SERIOUS, TRAP MUZIK shit… But until then RESPECT to all who deserve it. I’ll be back at you in a minute. – KING T.I. Gets A September 29th Release Date T.I.
