Teresa Giudice New Year’s Resolution: Fewer Carbs!!!

Teresa Giudice may be a reality star, but that doesn’t mean the law-breaking Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member is in touch with reality. Case in point: the following video. It features Giudice and Dina Manzo teaming with Glam.com to recite a few resolutions for 2015. Teresa Giudice and Dina Manzo Resolve To… “Going forward I would like to stop eating bad carbs,” Giudice says, adding that she wants to get her famous “ass” back. This would be a perfectly normal sort of resolution to make… if Giudice were not facing 15 months in jail for financial fraud, a sentence that begins on January 5. You’d think perhaps Teresa would be more concerned with vowing to be a better mother to her four children; or vowing to avoid prison after this stint is over; or jusy vowing to no longer suck as a human being. But nope. Giudice’s other resolutions include “being around positive people,” as well as “keeping the faith.” She makes no mention of her forthcoming stint in the slammer (which will be followed by husband Joe Giudice serving 40 months behind bars). At one point, Manzo says “I want to be more spontaneous this year. If I want to go away somewhere, I’m just going to let that happen and people will figure things out.” “You should!” Giudice responds. “I have four little ones so I can’t do that.” Note to Teresa : it won’t  Gia Giudice and company who will be holding you back from going away somewhere. Gia Giudice Releases "Season of Joy" Music Video: Terrible or Just Kind of Lame?

Even though Teresa Giudice is headed to prison in a few weeks, her 13-year-old daughter Gia seems to be having a downright joyous holiday season. At least that’s the impression she gives in her latest music video: 3KT: “Season of Joy” Music Video Earlier this year,  Gia formed a girl group called 3KT  with two of her friends. The group’s been a source of controversy from the start, as many feel that Gia’s parents are setting her up as the family breadwinner in preparation for their back-to-back prison sentences. In addition, 3KT’s first video was inappropriately risque and featured the tween-age girls covering Britney Spears’ Circus in a variety of revealing outfits. Given the grossed-out response to the first clip, it’s not surprising that Gia and company are considerably more clothed in their second video. It’s also not exactly shocking that they had trouble securing funds for the video’s production budget. The group launched a Kickstarter campaign with the goal of raising $7,500. They offered perks including a meet-and-greet and “producer credits,” but still received less than $900 in donations. That’s when the girls’ parents – including the famously cash-strapped Teresa – opened their wallets to help make their daughters’ pop star dreams come true. If you’re wondering why the group needed so much cash for such a short, simple clip, much of which was filmed in the Giudices’ mansion, it’s important to bear in mind that Teresa Giudice was involved. The woman would ask for donations to expand her shoe collection if she thought it would fly. Teresa Giudice Gets Pre-Prison Support From NeNe Leakes

Teresa Giudice is less than a month away from beginning her 15-month prison sentence, but sources say she’s holding up well and attempting to provide her children with as normal a holiday season as possible. Teresa hasn’t been receiving support from the expected sources (there are reports that Joe Giudice plans to file for divorce after she turns herself in), but she has been drawing strength from less likely sources, such as fellow Bravo vet NeNe Leakes. NeNe is currently starring in Cinderella on Broadway, and Teresa took her four daughters to check out the show last night. NeNe posted the above photo on Instagram with a caption reading, “My girl Teresa Giudice came to Cinderella last nite with her beautiful daughters to support me! I love the girls! They were so fabulous!” “[Teresa] looks so good!” NeNe added. “She’s a super strong woman!” NeNe and Teresa got their starts on Bravo around the same time, and they’ve talked openly about their friendship over the years. Just last month, NeNe stated that she’ll visit Teresa in prison once her sentence begins. In the meantime, sources say NeNe has offered to assist Teresa and her family in any way that she can, both during Teresa’s remaining weeks of freedom, and while she’s doing her time. Ever since Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison , the Bravo network has been the one place that she’s able to turn to for sympathy. Andy Cohen interviewed Teresa in a compassionate, but no-nonsense fashion after her trial wrapped up. Other Bravo stars have expressed their condolences, such as when Brandi Glanville called Teresa’s situation “sad” last week.  But a celeb who sat down with Cohen on Watch What Happens Live last night was certainly not eager to join Teresa’s pity party: Lisa Kudrow to Teresa Giudice: Don’t Commit Crimes When former Friends star and Real Housewives aficionado Lisa Kudrow was asked about the Teresa situation, she certainly didn’t mince words: “I felt really bad for [Teresa’s daughters],” Lisa began. “Then I remembered that’s why we don’t commit crimes, because we think about our families and our children.” Asked about the Giudices feud with castmate Jim Marchese, Kudrow responded: “I’m on his side. I can’t spend time with these people, because I also like to avoid felons.” Harsh. Guess Lisa’s put her flower child Phoebe Buffay days behind her. But even if Cohen and company invite the occasional anti-Teresa guest, Bravo has still been very good to the Giudices. The network offered Teresa the chance to film a new season of Jersey Housewives before she’s forced to report to prison, which resulted in a massive payday for her family. Teresa Giudice: Currently Filming New Season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey?!

Just because Teresa Giudice is headed to prison , doesn’t mean she’s done making a buck off of Bravo! Production insiders have revealed to Radar Online that Teresa and her family are currently filming the seventh season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, which will document her final weeks as a free woman. “It was a no brainer for Teresa to decide to do the show,” says one source. “She obviously needs the money to pay off mounting debts. The producers were thrilled because it will result in a ratings bonanza.” There’s no word yet on exactly how much she’s getting paid, but considering Teresa’s salary for past seasons has exceeded $500,000, it’s a safe bet that filming between now and January should enable the Giudices to pay off the remainder of their six-figure restitution. In addition to participating in what’s likely to be her final season of RHONJ, Teresa is planning a pre-prison Christmas special  that will allow her to “say goodbye” to her fans before beginning her sentence on January 5. In an unprecedented move for the network, Bravo has reportedly agreed to pay Teresa’s four daughters for their time on camera during the coming months. Last night, Bravo aired the first half of Joe and Teresa Giudice’s post-sentencing interview with Andy Cohen. Teresa Giudice Reacts to Prison Sentence On Thursday, the network that made the Giudices famous will feature the second half of their extended sit-down with Cohen, and given the slate of topics to be discussed, round 2 might leave the Giudices looking worse than ever. For one thing, Andy will reportedly confront Teresa about her claims that The Real Housewives of New Jersey is scripted, and edited to make her look bad. (We’re guessing AC wasn’t too thrilled with that statement.) But what we’re really looking forward to is the discussion about Joe Giudice’s alcoholism. As you may know, Joe’s lawyers requested that he be sent to a rehab facility to treat his alcohol addiction, rather than to prison. The judge, predictably, was having none of that, and Giudice was sentenced to 41 months behind bars. So why, then, when asked by Cohen if he he’s an alcoholic, does Joe simply shrug and say, “I might have a little problem; I’m not gonna lie.” Well, Joe, you either lied in the interview or you lied in court, because just last week you told a judge so you were such a heavy boozer that you required immediate in-patient rehab. Katy Perry Hits on Trevor Knight, Throws Corn Dogs at LSU Fans, Trolls Nick Saban on College GameDay

Katy Perry was the celebrity guest on ESPN College GameDay Saturday, and rarely will you see a pop singer contribute so much to a college football show. At one point, she threw a series of corn dogs toward the camera to rile up LSU fans, whose smell she likened to the greasy food product … obviously: Katy Perry on College Game Day Wearing a pink and black rug-type sweater-jersey that she may or may not have gotten from the University of Oregon, Perry wasn’t close to done. The 29-year-old openly hit on handsome Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight when asked to pick a winner for the Sooners’ game against TCU. “Trevor Knight, call me!” Perry shouted, while holding up a custom-made, heart-shaped sign with Knight’s picture on it. He has a girlfriend, sadly. The Oklahoma football program indoctrinated Katy into the fan club on Twitter, but given that TCU ended up winning, they may want to rescind that … Perry also asked, “Is this the game with the ‘Cocks in it?” during the picks segment, in reference to the South Carolina Gamecocks (it wasn’t that game). ESPN’s Lee Corso then proceeded to put on a University of Alabama elephant mask and rub the celebrity with its nose, which was funny albeit surreal. Katy punctuated her day at the University of Mississippi by trolling Alabama coach Nick Saban on Twitter after Ole Miss won, saying she called it. With this visual aid for good measure: She also celebrated with the Ole Miss mascot, because of course. How much does the guy inside that big stuffed bear wish he weren’t inside a big stuffed bear … All in a (probably very drunken) day’s work. No matter where she goes, what she wears, who she’s with or what she’s doing, this girl has a way of keeping things lively and unpredictable. Katy Perry, everyone. Gia Giudice Thanks Fans for Support, Tweets: Family Forever!

Her mom is going to jail for over a year. Her dad is going to jail for over three years. But Gia Giudice is sticking by the side of Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice. A couple hours after her controversial parents were sentenced to prison for committing various kinds of financial fraud, the 13-year old took to Twitter on Friday and wrote the following: “Family forever. Such an amazing support system it’s unreal. The little things matter to me but the big things matter to you.” A judge decreed late last week that she had to set an example, ordering  Teresa Giudice to jail for 15 months . Earlier that same day, she sentenced Joe Giudice to jail for 41 months . Despite previous rumblings, it’s pretty clear the Giudices have told their kids about their impending fate, with Teresa starting her prison term on January 5. During the trial, the couple’s lawyer Miles Feinstein told Judge Esther Salas that Joe Giudice tried to do “everything he could” to exonerate Teresa. “He wanted his wife to get the best deal she could get,” Feinstein said Thursday. “He is a real man.” Yup. A real man who wasn’t satisfied being a part of the 1% and who therefore put his family’s future at risk by lying on mortgage and bankruptcy applications. Teresa Giudice: Pissed at Andy Cohen Over Sentencing Comments!

Teresa Giudice may be going to jail in the very near future, but instead of keeping her nose clean and figuring out how to best provide for her children in the event that she gets locked up, Teresa has chosen to focus on what’s really important: Biting the hand that feeds her by feuding with her Bravo boss Andy Cohen! Yes, we learned earlier today that Teresa earns an astonishing $700,000 per season from The Real Housewives of New Jersey , and even though her job and the entire Housewives franchise might not exist without Cohen, she’s still taking him to task for comments he made on his show recently. On Tuesday night’s Watch What Happens Live , Cohen said of Teresa and her husband: “[They] didn’t get out of jail by being on Housewives of New Jersey …They are going to have to do whatever time they do.” Teresa somehow interpreted this as Cohen “joking” about her situation, and sources say she is now refusing to premiere on WWHL on Sunday, as originally scheduled. “She would prefer Andy not make any comments about the sentencing, because she doesn’t want to do anything that could affect what the punishment will be,” says a friend of Teresa’s. “It’s one thing for the legal proceedings to play out on the show, but Andy isn’t a lawyer, and shouldn’t discuss things he knows nothing about.” We’re not lawyers either, but we’re pretty sure that nothing Andy Cohen says on TV will result in Teresa receiving more jail time. Teresa Giudice on Possible Prison Sentence: Too Terrifying to Think About!

Teresa Giudice pled guilty to fraud back in March and is likely to face prison time. Teresa’s sentencing was delayed just last month following the death of her father-in-law, and along with her husband Joe, the former Real Housewives of New Jersey star will now have to wait until September to find out her fate. The troubled mother of four opened up about her upcoming court date in a recent interview and not surprisingly, she says she’s overcome with fear about the possibility of being locked up. “No one can ever prepare themselves to go to prison,” Teresa tells In Touch. “How could I ever prepare myself to be away from my kids? It’s too terrifying for me to even think about.” After copping to charges of tax evasion and defrauding the federal government, Teresa could end up serving 27 months behind bars. Joe Giudice was convicted of five federal fraud charges and could be sentenced to up to 46 months. “What does not kill you makes you stronger,” Teresa says of the ordeal. “I am here 100% for my poor honey, and he for me.” Despite the many difficulties endured by her family, Teresa has allowed herself (and her children) to be filmed for the upcoming season of her Bravo reality hit.
