Lauren Conrad & Kyle Howard: Behind the Break-Up

Three year of blissful dating came to an end last week, as Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard shocked the celebrity gossip world by breaking up . What happened?!? “He saw the relationship as distracting from his goal of being the next Robert De Niro,” an insider says in the latest issue of Us Weekly . “He wasn’t supportive of her career.” With an upcoming role on Royal Pains , and a critically-beloved turn on My Boys , Howard does have a bright acting career in front of him. He reportedly felt like LC’s reality star roots weren’t an appropriate fit. “All of her friends can count on one hand the amount of times they’ve seen him,” said a source, adding that “Lauren is heartbroken… She wants to be married and have kids.”

Footloose Movie Trailer: Watch, Gawk at Julianne Hough Now!

Why remake Footloose , an iconic film from 1984? For male movie fans around the globe, the answer is easy: Julianne Hough. The beautiful Dancing with the Stars professional takes on her first lead role in this adaption, which comes out on October 14 and also stars Kenny Wormald in the role made famous by Kevin Bacon over 25 years ago. He portrays a city teenager who comes to a small town and helps it rediscover the magic of dancing. Hough plays the daughter of Dennis Quaid’s Reverend Shaw Moore. Ashley Hebert: Tortured For Her Looks!

Competing for Brad Womack’s attention on The Bachelor, Ashley Hebert turned to food to cope with the stress. Soon enough, she’d packed on 10 pounds. For a petite, 5’2″ girl, that’s a fair amount. Fortunately, Ashley changed her diet and exercise habits to lose the weight in time for her upcoming wedding to her dreamy mystery fiance (follow this link for The Bachelorette spoilers if you care to know who that is). Those 10 pounds weren’t the extent of Ashley’s self-esteem battle . Despite the misleading cover above (she was called those things as part of a comedy roast, after all), there’s no question she has legitimate insecurities. The way Bentley Williams messed with her, how could she not? Fortunately, with the show behind her and a bright future ahead, things are looking up. Ashley Hebert is engaged , and mentally and physically, just so healthy! “It’s a new, enlightened me. I’m happy. Michaele Salahi: Stalked, Threatened, Living in Fear

Former White House pest and Bravo reality star Michaele Salahi claims that someone’s been stalking her and making death threats in recent weeks. Her husband, Tareq Salahi, even placed a frantic 911 call for her protection. Maybe the stalker just wanted to see Michaele Salahi in Playboy and is pissed that this is no longer in the cards? We kid. Although you never know. The Salahis say that the threat-maker called the Sheriff’s Dept. in Fauquier County, Va., falsely claiming Tareq broke into a winery co-owned by Tareq’s family. Deputies tell us they found no evidence of a break-in, but were called backwhen Tareq and Michaele found out the call came from the alleged stalker . The Salahis filed a police report and the case is now under investigation. The couple is also seeking to have a protective order put into place ASAP. According to the Salahis, the man has also been tailing Michaele, shooting photos and video and also sending death threats and obscene messages.

Leah Messer and Corey Simms: Inside the Breakup and Battle For the Twins

It’s really over for Leah Messer and Corey Simms . That much has been established at this point. It’s just a question of why, and what will happen to the couple’s poor little twin girls in the aftermath of the split. OK! reports that shaking hands, Leah Messer lit a cigarette to stop herself from crying as she read her husband Corey’s Facebook flirtation with another girl. “I haven’t been this happy in a long time,” the message read. The words broke Leah’s heart, and tears streamed down her face as her friend Kayla tried to comfort her – even though she had already filed for divorce days earlier. Just the same, the Teen Mom 2 star is having a hard time facing the fact that her six-month marriage to Corey, the father of her twins, Ali and Aleeah, is over. The battle between the young couple is about to get uglier, with Corey expected to ask for sole custody, and Corey’s parents prepared to help him financially. Apparently there are “explosive secrets” that will determine who gets the girls, and according to fellow celebrity news magazine In Touch , abuse allegations. We have no doubt this is a messed up situation, but putting Leah on the same cover as Jenelle Evans ? That’s gotta hurt almost as bad as Corey’s Facebooking. [Photos: In Touch Weekly, OK!]

Another week, another major dose of Teen Mom drama – times two. Teen Mom 2’s Leah Messer and Corey Simms – parents of 16-month-old twins Aleeah and Aliannah – just got married in October. But after myriad problems and months of fighting constantly, the pair have finally separated – perhaps for good. “Corey is going to file for divorce,” a close friend said . TRUE OR FALSE : Considering the source(s), you never know . The accounts of these two celebrity gossip publications differ, but the point is that Corey left her. In Touch claims he took money for the twins and bought a truck! OK! also hints at money problems between them, but another final straw . Fed up with Leah’s obsession with buying a better house, Corey Simms left her. Meanwhile, Corey is bunking with his own mother, rent-free. There you have it. “He and Leah have been living apart for two weeks, and he’s been very happy,” the pal adds. If that’s true, well … it’s very sad for everyone. Poor little tykes.

So basically, no, they’re not on the rocks, but hey, makes for some good celebrity gossip , right? In Touch has been trying to bust up Kendra and Hank for some time. Somehow Playboy bunny Jessica Hall has been thrown into the mix now. Here’s the alleged other woman wreaking marital havoc … This is Jessica Hall. Rumored home wrecker. Bona fide hottie! Seriously, why the need to meddle in Kendra’s love life? We direct that at Ms. Hall and at ITW . The Basketts seem as solid as they come. Leave ’em be. Another thing just occurred to us. The headline just says Kendra and Hank have been torn apart by another woman. But what if Kendra did the cheating? Sorry, we’re just throwing that out there. Nothing wrong with a little girl-on-girl action, right? Okay, you know what, we’re just going to stop now.

It’s a Boy for Rachel Zoe!

Rachel Zoe is a very happy, very proud new mother. The stylist and husband Rodger Berman welcomed their first child into the world today, a son named Skyler Morrison Berman. He weighs in at 6 lbs., 12 oz. and is 20 inches long. Said the couple in a statement: “Mom and Dad ‘LITERALLY’ could not be happier or more in love with their son!”

Khloe Kardashian Whines About Weight

Earlier this month, rumors sprung up that Khloe Kardashian might be pregnant . Not because anyone referred to her as fat. But because she wore an unusually flowing dress to a public event; because that’s the route her sister took when she signed on for a spin-off; and because her siblings didn’t flat out deny the chatter. Naturally, though, Khloe has used this talk to once again whine about her weight, doing so in a video posted to her blog. Khloe Kardashian Vlog “I feel like no matter what I do, I never look good enough to everybody else,” Kardashian says. “I think my weight is my biggest lifetime struggle. It’s not the biggest thing in life, but it does get you down sometimes.” Fortunately, when these dour moods strike, Khloe can count the money she’s made by posing for tabloid covers that hype up her awesome bikini body. So that helps a little.
