Tasha Smith With Husband Keith Douglas It’s pretty rare that we catch a glimpse of “For Better Or Worse” actress Tasha Smith with her real life hubby Keith Douglas so we were happy to see these snaps of the pair grabbing their morning Starbucks in Lalaland. Don’t they make a great couple? Keith is an author and businessman and the spouses recently launched their unisex fragrance “US”. Tyler Perry shared his recent encounter with the Atlanta Police Department on his Facebook fan page yesterday. Perry says he was stopped by police officers soon after leaving his Atlanta studios. The officers did not know who he was and he felt that he was in a situation that could have gone very badly until another officer arrived. This is an excerpt of what he shared: A few days before President Obama was supposed to speak at my studio, I was leaving the studio, headed to the airport. Most times when I leave the studio I have an unmarked escort. Other times I constantly check in my rearview mirror to be sure that I’m not being followed. It’s a safety precaution that my security team taught me. As I got to an intersection, I made a left turn from the right lane and was pulled over by two police officers. I pulled the car over and put it in park. Then, I let the window down and sat in the car waiting for the officer. The officer came up to the driver’s door and said that I made an illegal turn. I said, “I signaled to get into the turning lane, then made the turn because I have to be sure I’m not being followed.” He said, “why do you think someone would be following you?” More than 92,000 fans liked his thoughts, another 8,741 shared them and more than 15,000 comments have been made on this story as of 10:15 P.M. Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White, stars of Tyler Perry’s latest TBS sitcom “For Better Or Worse,” have fierce words for his critics, “it’s just hateration — especially if you don’t do nothing!” In a small luncheon with several bloggers last week at the Essence Magazine offices, the actors couldn’t sing Tyler’s praises enough. They both emphatically agreed that their working relationship with Perry is “extremely collaborative,” and that he “trusts them completely.” White mentioned that of all of the creative battles they’ve fought with director, they’ve only lost one. That happened to be the scene Tasha Smith may be most remembered for–the infamous “dinner” scene in Why Did I Get Married? “I really didn’t want her [Angela] to tell him that she slept with another man at the dinner table,” said Smith. This is it . The moment we have all been waiting for. It came down to a blowout and a 2 point win. What started out as March Madness, the Sweet Sixteen, the Elite Eight and the Final Four is now down to the Terrific Two. Ok, I just made that last one up, but either way, we’re down to the two top teams in the NCAA Mens Basketball Bracket. The NCAA Championship game will be between Duke and Butler. The Duke vs West Virginia game turned out to be a blowout with Duke rallying West Virginia 78 – 57. On the other hand, the Butler vs Michigan game came down to the last second with Butler pulling away from Michigan 52 – 50. The 2010 Championship game will be between Butler vs Duke.
