Another day, another big name announced as part of Taylor Swift’s new music video. And this one has a special connection to the artist. Not long after revealing to Twitter followers that Ellen Pompeo will play a role in her upcoming “Bad Blood” video, Swift unveiled a poster of Mariska Hargitay playing the character of Justice. Why is this notable? Because Swift is such a huge fan of the Law & Order: SVU veteran that she named one of her cats after Hargitay’s iconic detective, Olivia Benson. The name of Swift’s other feline? Meredith Grey, of course, after Pompeo’s beloved surgeon on Grey’s Anatomy . Pompeo and Hargitay are friendly themselves, having posed for a picture at the Super Bowl and then sent it to Swift as a joke… that totally made Swift’s life. Taylor will debut her “Bad Blood” video at this Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. In honor of Taylor’s smash hit album, Jo and Sam actually folded 1,989 cranes – but then they changed their wish from tickets to a Taylor Swift concert to something far more important and profound. Once the 11-year old and 8-year old learned that their Swift’s mother had been diagnosed with cancer , they decided to use their gesture to wish her well instead. “We thought that we should probably wish for her to get better and kick cancer’s butt,” says Sam in this home video, addressing her idol and adding: “My mom will be shipping the cranes to you to give to your mom.” How amazing is that?!? We then see 1,989 paper cranes get dropped on to the heads of these selfless children. Neither of them has confirmed it yet, but at this point, it’s a known fact that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are dating . And not just dating – these two are all coupled up. Paparazzi have spotted Taylor and Calvin shopping at Whole Foods in matching t-shirts, which is pretty much the Hollywood equivalent of an engagement ring. Since both halves of Caylor are keeping mum on the subject, little is known about how they actually started going out. Fortunately, we have tabloid speculation and unidentified “sources” to hold us over until Swifty tells the tale in song form.
