Cardi B’s ‘Bodak Yellow’ overtakes Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ as the No. 1 song on Billboard’s Hot 100. She’s the first female rapper to have a solo single at the top of the chart since Lauryn Hill in 1998.

We’re guessing this hasn’t exactly been the return Taylor Swift envisioned. First, the singer was criticized for a drawn out tease of her new album, taking three days on Instagram to share various snake-themed videos that got kind of old and obvious right away. Then, Swift released ” Look at What You Made Me Do ,” her first single in years. And people HATED it . Then , Swift teased the music video that will debut during tonight’s MTV VMAS… … and a certain segment of the population really let her have it. Based on Swift’s all-black outfit and the alignment of her backup dances, Taylor is accused of copying Beyonce . Members of the passionate Beyhive think Swift stole her look and portions of the music video from Beyonce’s “Formation” performance at the Super Bowl and from her video for the track “Lemonade.” “Lemonade and Minute Maid,” one Internet user wrote rather harshly, while others offered critiques such as the following: On Friday night, however, Joseph Kahn came to Swift’s defense. The Grammy-winning director behind Swift’s “Bad Blood” video, as well as Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” and “Jumpin Jumpin,” Tweeted his reaction to fan speculation that Tay was making like Bey. “I’ve worked with Beyoncé a few times,” Kahn wrote. “She’s an amazing person. The #LWYMMDvideo is not in her art space. Love and respect to Bey.” Interesting take and perspective, right? The shot of Swift and her male dancers all lined up in an elegant ballroom is the one that has Beyonce fans must upset. “Beyonce played on being a plantation owner in Formation & now that Taylor Swift is ripping from it she’s trying to be one too,” wrote one critic on social media. And others have been ripping Swift for the way she launched her comeback, for the single itself and then for the video. “The song is a poor man’s Britney, the video’s gonna be a poor man’s Beyonce,” explained another hater. “Taylor Swift wants to be anyone but Taylor Swift.” Ouch . We’ll get a chance to view the entire video on Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards. It’s probably best to withhold judgment until then. “There’s something to that ‘Formation’ shot I painted out and you haven’t seen yet,” Kahn added on Twitter, teasing the video’s upcoming premiere and writing: “Stay tuned Sunday #LWYMMDvideo #SneakyAsian.” We’ll be doing that for sure. Kylie Jenner … well, the girl has been a little difficult lately. Or, at the very least, it’s been difficult to find any redeeming qualities about her lately. Besides, you know, her hot bod and all. It’s not that Kylie has ever been super likeable or anything — and that’s not shade, that’s a fact — but things have gotten worse since her reality show, Life of Kylie, began airing. In many scenes in the show, she comes off like an ungrateful, whiny brat, to be honest. Remember that time that she explained that she felt like an outcast ? Even though she’s insanely popular and beloved by youths all around the world? Or how about the time that she whined about how everyone copied her fun hair colors — that was tough to watch, wasn’t it? There was also that time that she laid in bed moaning about how the tabloids dared to discuss her dating life. How dare they? It’s not like she’s intentionally putting her personal life out there for everyone to … oh, wait, that’s exactly what she’d doing. It’s just exhausting, and the show just began airing recently. But, judging by this new interview she did with V magazine to accompany those “nude” photos , she’s not saving all the complaining for television! About those photos, Kylie says “That was actually my first super nude shoot. I always post sexy pictures, but have never really gone nude.” Though the shoot is pretty scandalous, and you definitely get an eye-full of bare boob underneath sheer lingerie, we’d argue that she’s still not “super nude” in the pics. It’s still cool though, so she gets a pass so far. But then she’s asked about her many, many wigs, and she says “All I know is that when I go into weave stores, they have colors that I’ve worn, which is cool.” And we already have to stop her. Girl, stop acting like you invented blue hair. Just stop. It’s embarrassing. There’s no denying that she’s a trendsetter, but so are many, many other celebrities who’ve dared to rock hair that isn’t blonde, brown, or black. Still, she says that “Back then, I dyed my hair blue and teal and other colors. I would do meet and greets and every other girl — even guys — had teal hair.” “They’d be like, ‘I did this because of you! Everyone has teal hair now!'” In addition to inventing teal hair, Kylie is also responsible for the careers of countless rappers and singers. “Other artists shout me out that I’ve never met before,” she explains, “like, ‘I owe this to Kylie for putting this on her Snapchat.'” “And meeting new artists in person and them saying, ‘This was a big help from you, you playing my song’ — it’s just really cool.” She then tells the story behind one of her many tiny tattoos — the one on her hip of the phonetic spelling of the word “sanity.” She says that when she got the tattoo “that I felt a little bit like I was going insane. Or, I was going to.” It was right about the time she turned 18 when she got the tattoo, and to be fair, it did seem to be a pretty intense time for her. “I thought about it for a while,” she adds. “I just like the word ‘sanity’ — just stay sane through it all.” “A lot of young stars who grow up in the spotlight have a really hard time. I didn’t want that to be me.” And speaking of the spotlight, it sounds like she’s getting a little sick of it. “I just want a lot of property,” Kylie says about her future retirement. “That seems like the best life ever: horses and a farm and a garden.” It sounds like she might even pull a Michael Jackson and get a house in Bahrain! Or, well, she says “I don’t know about Bahrain, but I would be down for something. It would be a good feeling to just live a normal life for a second.” “I don’t know what it’s like to not be in the spotlight,” she continues. “That’s normal to me. There’s nothing you can do about it.” “There are so many great things about life, I’m just trying to focus on that.” View Slideshow: Kylie Jenner Selfies: A Kandid Kollection But even though it really sounds like she’s tired of being famous, she admits that “I do have a guy that follows me all the time. I just never show anyone the footage.” “Maybe one day.” Ugh, Kylie, who even has time for this?

So hey, have you heard Taylor Swift’s new song , “Look What You Made Me Do,” yet? If you have ears and internet access, the answer is almost certainly “yes.” Taylor Swift – “Look at What You Made Me Do” It seems a little dramatic, but the song definitely did take the world by storm when Taylor released it late Thursday night, and for the past couple of days it’s all many people have been talking about. And that’s because it’s a really, really weird song . It’s much darker than any of her older music, and it makes it clear that she plans on releasing her new album, Reputation, with guns blazing. It’s also like 99% proven that the song is about Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. The proof lies in one of the first lyrics of the song — the part where Taylor sings “I don’t like your tilted stage,” which seems like a pretty direct reference to the tilted stage Kanye used on his Saint Pablo tour. Another interesting little tidbit is the lyric video’s repeated use of snake imagery. Let’s not forget, Kim was the first person to refer to Taylor as a snake. She did that shortly after sharing those amazing receipts on Snapchat, which, of course, kicked off the new chapter of the ongoing Taylor vs. Kanye feud in the first place. It all started because after Kanye and Taylor made up after that incident at the VMAs all those years ago, he released his song “Famous,” which contained a lyric about her. A lyric that went like “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous.” Taylor lost her mind after that, going on rants about how people were trying to tear her down and generally playing the victim. Which would make sense — but Kim insisted that Taylor knew about the lyric, and that she’d approved of it. Then, in an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim went so far as to release a recording she’d made of the phone call between Kanye and Taylor in which Taylor approved the lyric. For good measure, she shared the recording on Snapchat, too. According to Taylor, her issue was that Kanye referred to her as “that bitch” in the song, and she didn’t approve that specific part. But the damage was done. Shortly after that, Taylor essentially went into hiding , and she’s just new resurfacing with this new song. So basically, it looks like the feud is back and bigger than ever. And, according to a new report from Radar Online, Kim knows just how to deal with Taylor this time. Before getting too upset, a source says that Kim asked friends “What are her lyrics even about? Is the whole song about Kanye? And then when most people confirmed that yes, the whole song does seem to be about Kanye, she decided it was “pathetic.” Well, fair. But “Kim wants Kanye to be the one to respond if they do anything. She plans to be above it all and let him be the one to do or say anything.” Judging by another report, this one from Hollywood Life, it sounds like Kanye is more than prepared to handle the issue. “Kanye is clearly pissed over the song,” their source claims. Can’t wait!
