Tennessee Teacher And Kidnapped 15-Year-Old Student Found In California The search for creepy freaky teacher Tad Cummins has spanned over a month now and today The Tennessean is reporting that the manhunt has come to an end. 50 year old Culleoka Unit School teacher Tad Cummins and his 15-year-old pupil Elizabeth Thomas were found living together in a cabin located in northern California. “Our intelligence analysts and agents have worked tirelessly since issuing this AMBER Alert to process more than 1,500 leads from all 50 states,” TBI Director Mark Gwyn said in a statement. “What happened in California this morning, however, proves it only takes one person to lead to a successful end. We are extremely thankful the hard work of all partners in this search has paid off. We’re also grateful for the public’s support and vigilance throughout this search effort.” Elizabeth is reportedly unharmed and Cummins has been arrested and is awaiting extradition to Tennessee where he will be charged with sexual contact with a minor and aggravated kidnapping. Previous reports about the unlikely pair note that they were seen kissing by another student at the school they worked at/attended which lead to the administration being notified. Middle School Teacher Fired For Asking Students If They’re Comfortable Around Blacks And Arabs A middle school teacher in Hernando County, FL thought it was appropriate to give students an assignment where they would distinguish whether or not they were comfortable around Blacks, gays, and Arabs according to WBTV. The assignment, for a “Leader In Me” class, asked 6th graders to circle their comfort level when in certain situations….the “situations” were inclusive of the following: 1. Being approached by a “group of black men on the street” 2. Finding out the new church pastor is a woman 3. Sitting on the plane next to an “Arab” 4. A friend invites you to a gay bar Seriously…these were questions asked of 12-year-old children and of course, their parents were pretty pissed off! “‘How comfy are you if you see a group of black men walking to you on the street?’ That’s completely inappropriate. In no world, whatsoever, is that OK to question a child on,” said Jennifer Block, mother of a 12-year-old girl who was given the assignment. Not only were the parents disgusted, but the students themselves were upset and surprised that a teacher would give them this type of schoolwork… “I thought it was very inappropriate. I thought some of them were racist. I thought some of them were sexist. I thought it was completely intolerable,” said Tori Drews, a 6th grader. “There were children that were saying this is wrong. ‘Why are we doing this?’ ‘Does this have a reason?’ She was going yeah this is kind of wrong … maybe I should take it back,” Drews said. “Kids were asking if they could share it with their parents. She was like, ‘No. Don’t show your mom. Don’t take that home. I’m taking it back up,’.” Clearly, the teacher knew this ish was wrong if she told the kids that they couldn’t show their parents, SMH. Congratulations to the Carters on their Anniversary,” Knowles wrote as a caption to the following photo. “That’s my arm fixing the dress lol,” she added, referring to her tugging on the train of her daughter’s wedding dress in the throwback snapshot. A Texas middle school teacher has been accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student. Katherine Harper, 27, was recently arrested on suspicion of improper relationship between an educator and student, a second degree felony. Multiple media outlets are reporting that Harper was eight months pregnant at the time of her arrest. There’s no word on if the 15-year-old student is the father of Harper’s child. According to Fox 5 in Denton, Texas, police began investigating the relationship between Harper and her student after they received an anonymous tip back in December. The investigation revealed that Harper and the unnamed minor carried on a sexual relationship for nearly two months during the summer of 2016. According to the local Star-Telegram newspaper, the Harper and the student met when she taught him seventh grade English at Tidwell Middle School. Cell phone records show that they communicated 76 times the following summer, frequently sending explicit photos to one another. When asked about his time with Harper, the boy reportedly cried and admitted to the relationship. In an interview with Child Protective Services, the boy stated that he and Harper met at his home for the first time on June 1, 2016. The pair allegedly consumed alcohol and engaged in sexual intercourse. After being arrested last week, Harper has been released on $15,000 bond, and is currently awaiting trial. She has been placed on administrative leave from Tidwell Middle School. Bizarrely, this is the second such incident to take place in Texas in as many weeks. On March 22, we reported on the arrest of Sarah Fowlkes (above), another 27-year-old Texas teacher who was arrested for having sex with a male teenage student. Fowlkes story went viral due to the teacher’s baffling decision to falsh a toothy grin in her mug shot. Disturbingly, in Harper’s case, there are sources coming forward with claims that they reported the situation to school officials as far back as September of 2016. Texas teacher Sarah Fowlkes, 27, is accused of having improper sexual relations with a student, a minor who was just 17 years old. Not that it seems to bother her all that much, based on her mug shot: “Yeah, girl! Way to get that D!” – Sarah to herself above . We kid, obviously, but one has to wonder how any individual – no matter how photogenic – is in that kind of mood while getting arrested. For a sex crime, no less. Just bizarre. In any case … A warrant was issued for her arrest for an alleged improper relationship with the male student, according to CHS Austin affiliate KEYE-TV. The Lockhart Police Department confirms that Fowlkes is accused of engaging in said conduct with a student at Lockhart High School. Lockhart Independent School District administrators learned of the alleged romance on March 10, just prior to the school’s spring break. Authorities said that they determined through a series of interviews that Fowlkes had in fact engaged in sexual contact with the student. The victim’s name has not been released, as he is underage. “It shocked me, especially since I used to go here,” River Morgan, a 2016 Lockhart High School graduate, said regarding the scandal. “I just feel like the teacher should know better than to do that,” Joe Chapa, another 2016 grad, told the Austin station that broke the story. Parents picking up students at Lockhart High School this week said they were surprised and disappointed, in the understatement of all time. Some said that the social media age doesn’t help matters. While it’s not an excuse, the easy online interaction between teachers and students makes it challenging to keep relations professional. “I feel like it makes it easier for an accidental relationship like that to happen,” Chapa said. “I think maybe there’s not as much of a distance.” “It should be much more professional.” Superintendent Susan Bohn emailed Lockhart High School parents on Monday to notify them of Fowlkes’ arrest and suspension, writing: “Lockhart parents entrust their children to us every day, and it is something we do not take lightly. Student safety is the district’s most important priority.” “As soon as we learned of the report, we acted swiftly to involve law enforcement and CPS to conduct a thorough investigation.” “The district does not and will not tolerate any improper communication or contact between a teacher and child,” Bohn added. Fowlkes has been with the district since 2014. According to her bio on the high school’s website, she taught anatomy (Did she ever! Too soon?), physiology and environmental systems. She previously taught third and fifth grade, but “Fowlkes will not return to the school district” in any capacaity, Bohn said in her statement. School Suspends 12-Year-Old Girl For Selling What They Think Are “Sex Toys” A pre-teen in Wisconsin has been suspended from school because her principal believes that she was selling sex toys to her fellow students. The girl’s family thinks the principal is insane. According to a report in TMJ , the school board at Trinity Lutheran School in Racine, WI ruled that the toy that the girl’s father calls “water snake wiggles” was inappropriate even though the girl had permission from her teacher to sell them. “In your wildest imaginations, no adult could possibly view this as a sex toy, this is a water-filled bag,” said Milt Habeck, the father of the girl. Milwaukee Elementary School Teacher Arrested For Sex Assault Of 11-Year-Old Another day, another pedo teacher who can’t keep her hands off of a child’s penis. 24-year-old Katherine Gonzalez was placed in stainless steel bracelets and charged with first degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 13 according to DailyMail . Katherine is an elementary school teacher at Atlas Preparatory Academy and was caught sending Snapchats to an 11-year-old boy in addition to exchanging gropes in her car and at her home. The two touched each other’s ‘private parts through their clothing,’ prosecutors said. The teacher allegedly told the student not to tell anyone about their relationship because she could lose her job and go to jail. Gonzalez told authorities that the victim is ‘chronically depressed’ and admitted to saying things to make the 11-year-old boy happy. Happy?! Texas Teacher Extorted For $28,000 In Student Sex Scandal We’ve done A LOT of stories about teachers who decided to let their students smash them to smithereens , but we’ve never heard of a situation like this. The NYPost is reporting that a Texas teacher was forced to pay $28,000 in a blackmail scheme. Thao “Sandy” Doan arrested for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old student at Raul Quintanilla Sr. Middle School. The boy’s mother told investigators earlier this month that he was receiving “large amounts of money” that he was using for “illegal purposes,” which created problems at home, according to the affidavit. The boy’s mother told administrators the payments needed to stop and provided investigators with screenshots of messages showing that her son asked for money. “… watch ima start getting the pics and everything ready … to show the cops right I anit [sic] playing,” one message read. According to DallasNews , Doan was a soccer and cross-country coach for the school. She told the cops that she contacted the boy via Instagram, Kik and text message before they ended up having sex in a park back in 2015. They had sex several other times in November and December of the same year. ‘She did very bad. She did bad,” the mother said, “and I’m not condoning what he did because I know he was wrong at what he also did because blackmailing is not acceptable.” Of all these students who have chopped down their teachers, this kid was the only one who thought to squeeze some bread out of her to keep s#!t on the low.
