Robert Griffin III To Be Cut From The Washington Redskins The writing has been on the wall for quite some time now, but yesterday the Washington Redskin’s president Bruce Allen made the official announcement that Robert Griffin III will be cut from the team according to NFL.com “Well, no. I see Robert getting an opportunity with another team,” Allen said when asked if RGIII would be back. “We’ve heard from some teams that are interested. I think he’s going to have a choice of a couple teams that will let him excel in the future.” The Redskins sat Griffin the entire season as their No. 3 quarterback to ensure he didn’t get injured and they could clear his more than $16 million contract from the books this offseason. Griffin’s demeanor during the year left a positive impression on Allen and possibly on whichever team the quarterback lands in 2016. “From the very beginning Robert has handled himself as a professional,” Allen said. “From when we first drafted him all the way through he’s been a good teammate and a good guy. I know some people on the outside always like to be critical, but his teammates like him, his coaches like him, he does have some special talents and we wish him well.” We know that black quarterbacks aren’t exactly the darlings of the NFL, hopefully RGIII gets an opportunity to redeem himself with another team. Thanks to a surrogate, the businesswoman and boyfriend Erik Asla are now VERY excited parents of a little baby boy. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here,” Banks shared on Instagram alongwith a photo of baby clothes. “He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. “York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.” Added Asla, a photographer who has been dating Banks for two years: “Witnessing the dawn of life is possibly life’s greatest gift.” The big news arrives after for former FABLife creator spoke openly about her fertility struggles. This prompted a visit from her younger, very Goth self, someone who invited herself to Felicity’s “pity party.” Felicity 1.0 wasn’t happy with her future self, saying she “wasted” her confidence and strength in order to “play superhero.” OUCH . But Felicity didn’t have a lot of time to sort through her internal problems… because she was needed at work. She had to offer her typical cyber assistance while Oliver, Diggle and company stormed a port being used by an A.R.G.U.S.-hating Shadowspire organization. Later on, at the loft, Felicity told her fiancé how she felt guilty about this screw up. But Oliver wasn’t hearing it. After sparring inside her head with her former self – and after hearing Goth Felicity taunt her about ex-boyfriend Cooper and how she now has a “ringside seat” to the rest of her life – Felicity grew inspired. She wasn’t going down like this! So Felicity wheeled herself into the lair and gave Oliver a speech about how her younger self was filled with anger, too much anger to help anyone. Her condition isn’t Oliver’s fault or her fault or anyone’s fault but one evil main who has an “alliterative name” and who they are “going to stop.” Why? “Because it’s what we do, it’s who we are.” Yeah! You tell ’em, Felicity! At the conclusion of the hour, Felicity burned a photo of that “rebellious brunette hacker who didn’t listen anyone’s rules but her own.” Oliver proceeded to share his own hope for the future, telling the love of his life quite simply: “I’ve seen people speed and shrink and fly, come back from dead…. Jeremiah Ratliff Cut From Bears After Threatening Staffers’ Children An NFL baller has been cut from the team after an aggressive outburst where he told team staff that he was The Devil and felt like killing everyone in the building . Via MailOnline : Former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff threatened team staff and claimed to be the devil the day before he was cut from the team, according to a suburban Chicago police report released on Friday. Ratliff also said ‘felt like killing everybody in the building’ and he wished staff member’s children would die, the Lake Forest police report dated October 21 said. It said an officer responded when someone at Halas Hall called police that day to report that 34-year-old Ratliff was ‘very angry and irrational’. He was also seen that day having an animated discussion with general manager Ryan Pace in the parking lot outside of Halas Hall. After Ratliff was driven home by someone else, the Bears decided to cut the four-time Pro Bowler, according to the Chicago Tribune. The Bears cut Ratliff on October 22. No charges were filed against Ratliff and he has not returned to Halas Hall, according to Deputy Chief Karl Walldorf of the Lake Forest Police Department. Coach John Fox was said Ratliff’s release from the team was a standard personnel move. ‘Again I’m a football coach. I’m not a psychologist,’ Fox told the Tribune. . ‘I don’t do all that.
