I want her better for the kids’ sake.” Corey is clearly gearing up to let his ex-wife have it in court if it comes to that, so here’s hoping she gets her act together ASAP. Teen Mom 2 star Corey Simms is standing by his recent actions – and words – in which he’s called out his ex-wife, Leah Messer, for her issues. Teen Mom 2 Sneak Peek: Corey Simms Worries For Daughters Those who watch Teen Mom 2 online or read celebrity gossip at all regularly know that addiction rumors have dogged Leah for some time. Despite Messer‘s adamant denial that she has a drug problem on last week’s episode, her former husband stands by the accusations he’s made. The father of Messer’s 5-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah says he’s not trying to score points or make her look bad, just protect his girls. He posted on Twitter this week to make that crystal clear: “If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation very much we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.” “There is a lot of things that has been told to us by close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true.” Simms, 25, is now remarried to Miranda Patterson. Both sat down for an awkward dinner on camera last week with Messer, 23. Leah Messer checked into rehab shortly after this, but wouldn’t say the word, instead calling it “therapy” to work on emotional issues. Corey Simms to Leah Messer: You’re a Fake A– Mom! “I think I know that there’s a drug problem, and I think that you’re afraid to tell me,” Simms told her as the tension grew thicker. Later in that same episode, Messer certainly didn’t hurt Corey’s argument when she fell asleep sitting up while holding a baby . MTV was forced to use subtitles – which they have done for Simms, ironically, in the past – so fans could even understand her. Corey previously told Leah to start being a mom and get it together, so this incident sadly did not come out of left field for him. In a preview for this week (above), a concerned Simms sticks to his guns and won’t let the twins visit their mother in rehab. “She made the decision to go, so that’s all her. I didn’t make this decision for her and neither did her children,” he explains. “She left on her own free will, she knew she was leaving her children for a month. Now that I have them, I’m their parent.” “I have to make the decision on my own for them.”

Kails and Chels enjoyed a bit of a reprieve from the tears and knock down, drag out fights that are often customary on TM2 … for once. Meanwhile, in more crucial news, Leah headed to rehab, and not a moment too soon, with three little kids impacted by her addiction. “Do you think that after you go to this rehab you’ll be able to be better?” Miranda Patterson, Corey Simms’ current wife, asked Messer. “I’m not going to say I was a bad mom,” Leah responded, defending herself and still in denial even now. “There is no drug problem.” Simms, Leah’s ex-husband and the father of her twin girls, said, “I think I know that there’s a drug problem and you’re afraid to tell me.” She only got more defensive from there. Later, Leah appeared to drift in and out of consciousness while holding a relative’s baby, furthering everyone’s concern for her safety. “The rumor around town she takes anything she can get her damn hands on,” Corey told Miranda, referring to Leah’s drug woes. Denial or not, she did go to get help. “I have to leave my babies for a month,” Leah told her mom. “I know I have to do this for them. The person I used to be is fading away.” “That means I can’t be the mom I want to be for them. The person I know I could be and I will be again is crying for help inside me.” We wish her nothing but the best. In Delaware, Jo Rivera was settling into his new pad right near Kailyn Lowry … who soon decided that it was time to hit the road. There’s such a thing as too close. “Joe’s moving into the development and we’re moving out,” she said, “but I don’t feel bad because we’re not going to be far.” There’s no real beef, either. Yes, there were still drug tests, martial woes, and ex factors galore, but one of the fab four freakin’ got engaged. ENGAGED! Fortunately, Nathan was busy making plans that would change her life. At least for the next couple of weeks before it all falls apart. With good reason, we would say. “I was prescribed pain medication when my migraines were so bad I was crawling to the toilet to vomit,” Leah told her friend. “The doctor prescribed anxiety medication when Ali was in her wheelchair and all that craziness. I’m not abusing medication.” Oh? Does anyone believe that? “I was just worried with her driving down the road, jacked up with the girls in the back,” Corey Simms said of his concerns. The results? Leah’s drug tests were negative, and the pair’s custody agreement stayed intact … for how long, it’s unclear. “I knew it would come back negative,” Leah declared, though clearly, based on this spring’s trip to rehab, Corey had a point. We worry about her, even now. Finally, Chelsea Houska teamed up with Adam Lind’s other ex-girlfriend / baby mama Taylor Halbur to take him on in court. Somehow, Adam Lind is seeking custody. #SMH on that one. To his credit, he went to a Christmas event at Aubree’s school. When the show was over, Aubree threw herself into Adam’s arms, leaving Chelsea Houska awkwardly crying as always. It seems Jeremy Calvert’s new girlfriend, Brooke Wehr , will not be appearing in the new season of Teen Mom, even though Calvert will continue to be a featured cast member. “Brooke won’t be appearing on the show, not even a quick cameo,” a source close to Calvert, 27, tells Radar. “He learned his lesson from his crazy marriage to Leah, and doesn’t want all the attention to ruin the relationship.” Producers say Calvert and Leah’s first husband Corey Simms will continue to make appearances, and they’ve teased her upcoming storyline as one of the show’s most dramatic to date. We’ve already seen a clip in which Leah’s drug abuse is exposed in shocking fashion, and the season will reportedly focus on the 23-year-old single mom’s reluctant decision to check into rehab. With all the drama surrounding Leah at the moment, we can’t imagine how producers would’ve even made time for a storyline about Calvert’s new romance. There’s no word yet on whether or not Leah’s new boyfriend, Theodore “T.R.” Dues , will be making an appearance when the show returns to MTV on July 9.
