Argo maintained Awards momentum Sunday night, winning the best ensemble prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The feature, directed by Ben Affleck who also stars, won the top film prize at the top film prize at the Golden Globes earlier this month and Saturday night at the Producers Guild Of America, taking the group’s Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures prize for producers Affleck, George Clooney and Grant Heslov. On the television side, Downton Abbey and Modern Family took SAG’s best ensemble cast for drama and comedy. In other top film prizes, Daniel Day-Lewis , not surprisingly, continued momentum at the 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, taking Best Male Actor in a leading role for Lincoln , while Jennifer Lawrence won Best Female Actor in a leading role for Silver Linings Playbook . Anne Hathaway and Tommy Lee Jones won for their Supporting Roles in Les Misérables and Lincoln respectively. Also Sunday, Carl Reiner presented Dick Van Dyke with the union’s highest honor, the 49th Annual Life Achievement Award, following a filmed tribute introduced and narrated by Alec Baldwin. When dot-com Don Juan goes wrong… Manti Te’o’s Lennay Kekua Hoax Perpetrators Have Confessed And Apologized According to TMZ reports : Manti Te’o has broken his silence … admitting he knew having a relationship with a “girlfriend” solely online was “crazy,” insisting he was a victim, and revealing that the culprit has now apologized. Manti gave an audio interview to ESPN — the photo was taken in the middle of the chat — in which he acknowledges Ronaiah Tuiasosopo tweeted him a full confession two days ago. You gotta love … even the confession was online. ESPN says it was followed up by a phone call. Manti says, “I wasn’t faking it. I wasn’t part of this.” Manti says he now knows — presumably from Tuiasosopo — “Two guys and a girl are responsible for the whole thing.” He says he doesn’t know the identity of the second guy or the girl. He adds he didn’t know for sure until Wednesday that it was all a hoax, when Tuiasosopo admitted it to him. Manti explained why he lied to his dad and others, when he said or intimated he had seen the fictitious Lennay Kekua in the flesh. “I knew that — I even knew that it was crazy that I was with somebody that I didn’t meet, and that alone people find out that this gir who died I was so invested in, and I didn’t meet her as well … So I kind of tailored my stories to have people think that, yeah, he met her before she passed away so people wouldn’t think I was some crazy dude.” So why the hell didn’t Manti ever try to Skype or get any visual confirmation of his “girlfriend” BEFORE he went public with these shenanigans??? As for one of the big questions — why didn’t he at least Skype — he says he tried to speak with Lennay through Skype or FaceTime several times, but the person on the other end was in a “black box” and couldn’t be seen. He says he also tried meeting her a few time in L.A. and Hawaii, but she kept canceling. And this is a little weird … Manti says Lennay once asked him for his checking account number so she could send him money. He did not provide it. Still, no suspicion. This kid is a complete and utter moron, that said, we still feel kinda bad for him. Furthermore, this Tuiasosopo character is about as shady as they come. Howard Stern Insults ‘Girls’ Television Show Babbling big-haired radio host Howard Stern is known for his outlandish radio ettiquette, and now he’s lashing out at ‘Girls’ writer and director Lena Dunham in the worst way. via US Weekly On Monday, 59-year-old shock jock [Howard Stern] blasted Dunham and the ‘Girls’ show, about 20-somethings living in Brooklyn, on his radio show, calling her a “little fat chick” and likening the show’s racy sex scenes to “r8pe.” “It’s a little fat girl who kinda looks like Jonah Hill and she keeps taking her clothes off and it kind of feels like r8pe. She seems — it’s like — I don’t want to see that,” Stern chuckled on-air, explaining how he’d recently been clued into the show by wife Beth Ostronsky. “I learned that this little fat chick writes the show and directs the show and that makes sense to me because she’s such a camera hog that the other characters barely are on.” This dude and his radio rants need to have several seats. Luckily though, Lena had the last laugh as she apparently didn’t let Howard Stern and his hatin azz antics get to her : “I did find out that Howard Stern really hates [Girls], which I’m a Howard Stern fan, and I believe he’s earned the right to free speech and he should go for it,” she told David Letterman diplomatically on the Tonight Show Thursday. Laughing alllllll the way to the bank. Good for her.

EW has your first look at the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire , with a peek at Jennifer Lawrence ‘s Katniss and cast newcomer Sam Claflin as returning Games victor Finnick Odair. Katniss and her baker boyfriend Peeta are back in Catching Fire , based on Suzanne Collins’s second Hunger Games book, but things haven’t exactly settled down; with revolution sparking in the Districts, the duo are sent back on the Games circuit and thrust into a new, even more dangerous competition. In the next ten months you’re going to see a lot of Claflin ( Pirates of the Caribbean , Snow White and the Huntsman ), the British up-and-comer who plays charismatic Finnick, a previous Games winner known for his seductive charm… who also has a notable scene in which he’s clad only in a fishing net.
