Not having a steady job in years appears to be agreeing with Mischa Barton. The actress strolled around Miami Beach in a retro bikini this week, and while we find the high-waisted shorts to be uglier than her character on The OC , we must say: we’re impressed by Barton’s body. It’s far less skeletal than it used to be: According to The New York Post , Barton has been telling friends her figure is due to “eating really healthy, keeping a mostly vegan diet and running.” And therein apparently lies the key: eating. This senseless and unnecessary violence has got to stop! A popular high school hoopster was killed by a gunshot to the head behind a Brooklyn drugstore as he and two laughing buddies headed home Friday afternoon, police said. Crime-scene tape surrounded the alley behind a Rite Aid at Flatlands Ave. and E. 79th St., where Shaquille Jones — still wearing his red jacket and black backpack — was found lying face down. The slain 17-year-old’s two friends were wounded when the gunfire erupted just four blocks from South Shore High School’s Theater Arts School. Jones, a junior basketball player at the school, was “a good kid,” said fellow student Jason Johnson, 17. “This is a tragedy. This is not the type of kid to get shot.” Police were stumped about a motive in the 3:15 p.m. shooting, which happened shortly after school was dismissed for the weekend. Cops were hunting for a suspect who escaped after opening fire on the trio. The slaying apparently followed an incident at a nearby bus stop, with the first explosion from the killer’s weapon scattering frightened students. It was unclear how many shots were fired. Shawn Brown, 18, saw the happy trio laughing and chatting outside the Canarsie high school shortly before they crossed paths with the killer. The slain youth’s friends were both taken to Brookdale University Hospital with minor gunshot wounds: One with a bullet to the leg, the other with a graze wound. Both were expected to survive. Source

Draya and Brown dated for roughly nine months back in 2010 … but we’re told the reality star is adamant that they never filmed their sexual exploits … not once. Now, sources close to Draya tell us … she’s already contacted lawyers, hoping to take action against whoever is responsible for spreading the “false information.” Another day, another lawsuit…how many of y’all would be interested in seeing this bad boy if it did exist???
America might have talent. But it no longer has Piers Morgan as a reality show judge. “I’m leaving America’s Got Talent after 6 wonderful years,” Morgan Tweeted last night, following an announcement on his CNN talk show.“Turned out that juggling’s harder than it looks, so I’m going to focus on CNN.” Morgan went on to thank “NBC, Fremantle, and of course, my friend Simon Cowell, for giving me such a great opportunity. It’s been a blast.” No word yet on who might replace this panelist, but first chime in: Will you miss Piers Morgan on America’s Got Talent ?
Here we go again: A pregnant reality star who dated Mel Gibson briefly during the summer is telling friends that the actor is the father of her unborn baby. Laura Bellizzi, 35, and Gibson, 55, denied the claim when contacted for comment, and a source close to Gibson insists that it’s “physically impossible.” Unless Mel got “fixed” after the Oksana Grigorieva debacle, we’re not sure what that means. In any case, he says it’s not true. Radar says otherwise . A supposedly close insider says that Laura Bellizzi has already confided to friends that Mel is the baby daddy, but does not want the big news to go public. “Laura’s being as secretive as she can be about it,” the source said. “But she’s really showing now, and people are beginning to ask: ‘Who’s the daddy?’” The well-placed source says Laura, who appeared on VH1’s Secrets of Aspen in 2010, is more than four months pregnant. She and Mel dated this summer. “Laura and Mel met through mutual friends in Malibu; the chemistry was instant,” a source said. A family member says the baby has “a famous father.” Mel has seven kids with his estranged wife, Robyn Moore, and a daughter, Lucia, from his relationship with Russian pianist/singer/gold digger Grigorieva. As Mariah Yeater proved, you can’t believe every baby mama coming out of the woodwork. Although in Mel’s case, it clearly wouldn’t be the first time.
Everybody feel sorry for Lindsay Lohan. The actress is telling friends that her stint in jail this morning – all 4.5 hours of a 30-day sentence – was “beyond scary” and one of the worst experiences ever. She was never placed with the general population, of course, biding her time alone in a private cell at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif. Sources say Lindsay described the jail as “cold” (possibly in more ways than one) saying it’s one of “the worst places she’s ever been in her entire life.” Lindsay didn’t eat anything during her stay at Lynwood – it’s not like she had time for a meal – and was outta there before having to even stay a night. Imagine if she really had to call that place home for awhile, it might improve her world view … you know, what the corrections system is designed for. Maybe we’re being unfair. Lindsay is telling friends the experience was another wake up call, that she’s mistakes and will put her problems behind her. We’ll believe it when we see it, but that’s wonderful to hear LiLo.
Jennifer “cry baby” Lopez says she was just getting sentimental on stage over her kids, and was not upset because of Marc Anthony.. Via TMZ: Jennifer Lopez is telling friends … she didn’t break down on stage Saturday night because of Marc Anthony — or any other ex for that matter — she choked up because she was thinking about her kids. During part of her performance at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut — when she sang “Until It Beats No More” — several dancers dressed as men from her past … like Diddy, Cris Judd, and Ben Affleck … and Jennifer teared up, telling the crowd, “I took a trip down memory lane.” But sources tell TMZ, Jennifer is claiming it wasn’t her exes who brought her to tears … it was a picture of the singer and her babies that was displayed on the jumbo-tron during her performance. According to sources, the photo — shot for a Gucci ad last fall — has some serious sentimental value to J.Lo … and when she saw the image during an already emotional performance … it pushed her over the edge. Uhhh, yeah friggin right!!

Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are ready to spread their wings and “Fly.” The ladies are scheduled to shoot a video for their collaboration off the Young Money rapper’s platinum-certified debut Pink Friday, with Sanaa Hamri in the director’s chair. Hamri has helmed videos for Mariah Carey, Prince, and B.o.B. The Harajuku Barbie has been steady on the video grind, most recently shooting a clip for “Moment 4 Life” with her Young Money cohort Drake. Already, Nicki has released visuals for “Your Love,” “Check It Out,” and “Right Thru Me,” where she flexed her acting chops. Yesterday we heard Lindsay Lohan was crying a river about how one-time is out to get her, with their claims that she was drunk and high while she was fighting in rehab. According to TMZ , LiHo said she felt persecuted by authorities trying to find a way to revoke her probation. TMZ broke the story … the Palm Desert PD tried to strong-arm the L.A. County Probation Department into coming to Betty Ford and arresting Lindsay last month after her scuffle with a BF staffer. We’re told Lindsay feels the PD is trying to torpedo her recovery, telling friends, “They shouldn’t be negatively trying to hurt me when I’m doing the right thing.” And, we’re told, Lindsay is adamant that she never drank or did drugs at Betty Ford. Lindsay is saying she’s “really confident” her probation will not be violated and she won’t be charged with a crime in Palm Desert. But maybe this is Lindsay’s proof right here.
