Tammy Lynn to Melissa Etheridge: New Dildos are Here!

Reliable sources have confirmed that Melissa Etheridge really is dating Linda Wallem , the creator of Nurse Jackie and former best friend of ex-wife Tammy Lynn Michaels. That’s awkward. But it’s not nearly as awkward as the way in which Michales learned that Etheridge was being unfaithful, as explained in a new poem Tammy has posted on her website, titled “speak, spread walk the talk.” It tells the story of a mis-labeled box of dildos. Writes Michaels: i moved out november 23rd 2009 she said it would help i was convinced it would too and i trusted there was no one else i didn’t know there was someone moving in as i was moving out indeed three weeks later a box of new toys was delivered and her assistant brought it to my rental house as a mistake i opened it and that’s when i felt something was up i called her “i have your new dicks on my kitchen counter?” one never even said one was breaking up with me one only says things in song and string and then i listened to the album and i understood oh you don’t want to work it out oh you already have someone in the wings oh you already have pined for another oh you are done here oh i have become another one of your exes oh i have become an album You really need to go read the entire missive on Tammy’s blog .

‘Never Say Never’ Director Was ‘Nervous’ About Justin Bieber Flick

‘[It’s] always scary when you try to show someone the story of their life,’ Jon Chu tells MTV News of screening for teen star. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: John Shearer/ WireImage In February fans will finally get the chance to see Justin Bieber’s long-awaited “Never Say Never.” And the flick’s director, Jon Chu, recently dished to MTV News that things are coming along fine as he puts the finishing touches on the February 11 release. “Oh, we stand pretty tall. It’s nuts! This is a world that I have never experienced before,” he laughed to MTV News about the 3-D film. Chu, who was promoting the DVD release of “Step Up 3D,” said getting the fans’ support has been invaluable. “Again it’s like dance, where music tells the story. It’s really interesting and his fans have been amazing, shooting him in 3-D in Madison Square Garden , exploring his life, going to his hometown. We’re almost done with our cut right now and I’m really proud of it. I think people are going to be surprised about the story that they’re going to get. Something is really special.” Bieber tweeted about seeing the film recently and gave it his seal of approval. And Chu admitted to us that he’s feeling the pressure now to make the best possible film. “I mean, I’m always nervous. We’re always trying to make our movies better,” he explained. “We’re never done with it though. I just keep going until they tell me I’ve run out of time. So [Justin] got to see it this week, which was really exciting and he loved it, which is always scary when you try to show someone the story of their life, but he’s been very supportive, he and his family and his team. I’m excited to share it with the world and show another side of 3-D. With ‘Step Up 3D,’ we learned a lot of lessons and we discovered a lot of things, and it’s just the beginning.” Are you excited to see Justin’s “Never Say Never” movie next year? Taylor Swift Opens Up About ‘Mine’ Wedding Scene

On a special doc about making the video, Swift also explains why she picked co-star Toby Hemingway. By Jocelyn Vena Taylor Swift Photo: CMT When fans check out the video for Taylor Swift’s “Mine,” they will be quick to notice how fetching she looks in a wedding dress. And while she only donned the garment for the clip, directed by Roman White, that scene is what had everyone buzzing long before the video even premiered. “The video is a story of a relationship,” Swift told CMT in the half-hour special that airs Friday night (August 27) at 8 p.m. ET, before the video’s premiere on MTV, CMT and VH1. “It really tells the story of these two people and the things that they go through and their life together. “The wedding scene in the video is the thing that’s been talked most about because someone got a picture of it when we were shooting it,” she continued, “but I think you’ll find there’s a lot in the video. That may just be one part of it.” Swift also excitedly dished on her co-star, Toby Hemingway from the upcoming “Black Swan.” “I picked him because he’s in one of my favorite movies, ‘Feast of Love,’ ” Swift said. “In another movie that he was in, he walks onscreen for the first time, and he had a ’13’ on his sweatshirt, and that’s my lucky number,” she revealed. “So it really wasn’t me that cast him. It was my lucky number.” So far, fans have been eating up the single, causing it to spike to the top of the charts since its leak and subsequent release earlier this month. “I got on a plane, I landed in Japan, and it was No. 1 on iTunes. And when I got on the plane, I had no intention of having a single out until two weeks from now,” she said. “It just ended up so wonderful, and I’m really appreciative of the fans for jumping right on it.” Swift’s fans will have more to be excited about come October, when she releases her album Speak Now . “I put everything I had into this album for the last two years, so for it to have a great little start, it really makes me happy,” she said. “Making this album has been such a wonderful experience, and I’m really excited to roll out the first single and the first video.” Related Artists Taylor Swift

REVIEW: Exotic La Soga Succumbs to Standard-Issue Crime Clichés

A film loaded with interest that somehow fails to be interesting, La Soga is inspired by true events and not much else. A crime drama set in a satellite village orbiting Santiago, Dominican Republic, and occasionally New York City, it tells the story of Luisito (Manny Perez, who also wrote the film), an assassin-for-hire working for the local police and the American government to cleanse drug-dealing U.S. deportees from the streets. Social, moral, and personal themes abound, but are mostly left wandering shoeless among the extras, as Perez and American director Josh Crook get caught up in playing gangster film, Dominican-style.

Eminem And Rihanna’s ‘Love The Way You Lie’ Video: Love On Fire

Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan play a couple whose passion turns violent in the dramatic clip. By Shaheem Reid Eminem Photo: Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images Eminem ‘s new video for “Love the Way You Lie” tells the story of two lovers (played by Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan ) whose passion turns violent as their relationship vacillates between ecstasy and agony. The cinematic video, which debuted Thursday night (August 5) on MTV, starts with a close-up of the song’s co-star, Rihanna , singing the chorus in front of a burning house. We then see Fox sitting in the living room of a home with a flame in the palms of her hands. From there, Eminem raps in a field. The video transitions back to the story of seemingly doomed lovers, and we see Fox and Monaghan lying in bed asleep. The first to wake, Fox sees the name “Cindy” written on her boyfriend’s hand and a phone number underneath. She angrily wakes him up, and scenes of them fighting and then making love intertwine, showing how their relationship goes from one extreme to the next. As the second verse starts, we get a flashback of how the couple met: in a bar. The attraction was instant, and they proceed to shoplift vodka from a liquor store. Later, we return to the bar, as Monaghan hits a man over the head with a bottle just because he was playing pool with Fox. Toward the end of the second verse, Eminem joins Rihanna, performing in front of the burning house. As the video progresses, we see more of the war going on between the two lovers. A flame eventually covers Fox, Monaghan and Eminem in three separate instances. The video’s last shot goes right back to the beginning of the clap, as the lovers lie in bed asleep. “I think we tried as hard as we could to not glorify the violence, to try and explain that this was a relationship that is by no means ideal and a relationship that probably should have ended a lot sooner than it did,” Monaghan told MTV News recently. “The concept of ‘Love the Way You Lie’ was essentially a look at the relationship that Eminem was in with his wife, Kim, so I kind of felt like I was playing Eminem a little bit, and Megan Fox was kind of playing Kim. “It’s the story of them getting to know each other, and it’s the story of their tumultuous relationship, and it was the story of the breakdown of their relationship,” he continued. “Ultimately, what I think he’s trying to say in the song … is that he should have walked away a little bit quicker than he did and not let it get as messy as it did.”

San Francisco prepares to build its first space port

With a rocket ship about to land by the Bay, can Starfleet Headquarters be far behind? Help San Francisco build its first space port – and support the arts, too! The Black Rock Arts Foundation writes: The 40-foot-tall art piece, The Raygun Gothic Rocketship, offers rococo-futuristic, highly-stylized vision of space travel circa 1930's-1940's science fiction and is the latest in a series of temporary public art exhibitions sponsored by BRAF with the aim of enlivening and activating public spaces. The installation first landed at Burning Man 2009, and has subsequently appeared at NASA Ames for Yuri's Night, and at Maker Faire. The piece is comprised of a single rocketship, poised as if to board passengers for a typical run to a nearby stellar destination. When installed in San Francisco, the sculpture will be accompanied by a descriptive exhibit, a “rocket stop”, which tells the story of the rocketship, provides route, schedule and other information. The installation will be illuminated for nighttime viewing. We need your support!!! Want to donate to the arts, and help build a rocket stop where cosmonauts can grab some lunch before heading back to the stars? Kucinich Predicts Health Care Will Pass by One Vote

Congressman Dennis Kucinich predicted Saturday that the health reform bill will win passage in the House on Sunday by just one vote. Kucinich likened the bill to “the political equivalent of castor oil” but said he has been working to get remaining holdout Democrats to vote for it. The Ohio Democrat, who earlier was a holdout himself, made the comments in an interview conducted by Truthdig Managing Editor Peter Z.
