For Michel and Sven, it probably seemed like a good idea at the time. The classic pull-the-tablecloth-out-from-under-the-plates stunt is always a winner when done correctly, and the two youths clearly perfected the technique. What they didn’t consider, though, was that the one yanking the tablecloth requires a lot of room to do his thing. If you try this at home, stand clear! Why, you ask? What in the world is going on with Randy Travis? Over the past two weeks, the country singer has been arrested on suspicion of naked DUI and also been hospitalized following a late-night fight in a church parking lot. And now a mystery has sprung up regarding the artist’s pickup truck. The vehicle was discovered by police on Saturday in a Texas field near Lebanon Road and Legacy Drive. According to WFAA, which has posted a photo of the truck , it was found totaled, on its side and all smashed up. Law enforcement officials have yet to speak to Travis, but his attorney claims his client was not responsible for the scene. He says the singer hasn’t even been inside that car for months. LGBT Texas Legislator Comes Out As Pansexual SMH: Mary González made headlines earlier this year as Texas’ first LGBT representative, but turns out she’s neither L, G, B or T, but rather P, as in pansexual. Dubbed by media outlets as the “Latina lesbian lawmaker,” González came out as bisexual at 21 but started dating genderqueer and transgender people a few years after that, eventually coming to define herself as pansexual — meaning that gender doesn’t play a role in her sexual attraction to individuals. “As I started to recognize the gender spectrum and dated along the gender spectrum, I was searching for words that connected to that reality, for words that embraced the spectrum,” González told the Dallas Voice . “At the time I didn’t feel as if the term bisexual was encompassing of a gender spectrum that I was dating and attracted to.” Though she identified as pansexual during her campaign, she chose not to reveal the fact, fearing it would “have overwhelmed everyone.” It was easier for González to identify as gay or lesbian, rather than pansexual or queer, though she faced criticism from both the mainstream media and the LGBT community for her varied romantic history. González insists however that she has always been honest about her relationships “with men or with women or even with transfolk.” Now 29 and getting ready to serve in the House of Representatives next year, González wanted to clarify her orientation because ”gender identity isn’t the defining part of [her] attraction.” And if her coming-out costs González re-election, that’s fine with her: “I’ve never been concerned about getting elected or re-elected,” she told the Voice. “I’ve always been concerned about serving my district and my people and the state of Texas.” For those who are unaware… Pansexual refers to someone who is attracted to other people regardless of their gender, although other definitions can apply depending on the social group. A shooting at Texas A&M University in College Station today has left three people dead, with the alleged killer – an unidentified man in his 30s – among them. Scott McCollum, assistant chief with the College Station police department, confirms that one of the deceased is 41-year old Brian Bachmann, a constable in Brazos County. “He was a pillar in this community, and it’s sad and tragic that we’ve lost him today,” McCollum told reporters. The incident took place a few blocks from the school’s campus. Officials report that four others suffered injuries in the shootout, including three law enforcement officers. None of those injuries are considered life-threatening. McCollum said police received a call around 12:10 p.m. from “a citizen” who reported shots fired in a residential area just south of Texas A&M. The constable had reportedly gone to a residence there to deliver an eviction notice. A Code Maroon was subsequently issued, warning pedestrians to stay away from the area in question because an “active shooter” was on the loose. At that point, approximately 12:29 p.m., cops arrived to find the constable’s body in the yard of a home. They “received fire from the suspect inside … took cover and defended themselves,” McCollum said. “They ended up shooting the gunman.” The third victim is an unidentified 65-year old male who has simply been described as a “civilian bystander.”
C’mon Randy, you too old for this isht Country Music Star Randy Travis Arrested For DUI Without Clothes On This has been one tough year for country singer Randy Travis. The singer is currently involved in a vicious divorce with his ex-wife, he has one arrest under is belt for public intoxication and he’s now adding another arrest, this time for DWI. Travis was arrested Tuesday night outside Tioga, Texas, for driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and retaliation and obstruction, a felony. State troopers responded to a call at 11:18 p.m. reporting a man lying on the road outside of the town of Tioga. Travis had been involved in a single-car accident, police said. They discovered Travis at the scene with a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and several signs of intoxication” and arrested him for DWI, according to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office. On the way to the station, Travis allegedly threatened to shoot and kill the troopers, which resulted in an additional charge of retaliation and obstruction. Travis was brought to the station naked, though it’s unclear whether Travis was discovered naked or somehow disrobed later, Sgt. Ricky Wheeler of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office told ABC News. B-b-but wait it gets worse! Travis’ mug shot shows him with a black eye and cuts on his face. Wheeler said police didn’t know if the bruises were the result of the car accident or if he was like that before. “That’s just the way he was brought into our jail,” Wheeler said. Travis, 53, was booked and held overnight, then released Wednesday after posting a total of $21,500 bond, $20,000 of which was for the felony charge. Willa Ford And Retired Hockey Player Mike Modano Divorcing She won’t be single for long, mark our words. Willa will find her a dumb black athlete to wife her digger azz up right away. Willa Ford and husband Mike Modano, who married in Athens, Texas, in 2007, are going their separate ways. “It is with great sadness that after five years of marriage, Willa and Mike have decided to divorce,” they tell PEOPLE in an exclusive joint statement through her rep. “They remain friends and wish each other success and happiness.” Ford, 31, and Modano, 42, who retired from the Dallas Stars hockey team last year, were together for more than four years before becoming engaged in 2006 and marrying the following year before 75 guests at a private ranch. Ford, who competed on season 3 of Dancing with the Stars, currently appears in the Starz original drama Magic City. Too bad Tiki just married his homewrecking Becky . She seems like totally his type. Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil no longer lives up to her nickname. The orange New Jersey parent arrested earlier this year for dragging her daughter into a tanning bed has scaled back on her “treatments” and is now pale! Check out this photo of her with a relatively normal skin tone: Tanning Mom is now pale as a ghost! Or at least a human being . The celebrity gossip magazine In Touch recently invited Krentcil, 44, to do a photo shoot, provided she lay off tanning for one whole month! It wasn’t easy, but needing fame/money for legal fees, she obliged. “I’ve had moments where I’ve felt like, ‘I need to be tan.’ I did all the spray tans and lotions and creams, too – anything to get dark,” she said. “Once a doctor even told me to stop tanning. But I didn’t listen to him. I wanted to be dark. I like looking like I just got back from vacation.” After she quit for a month? It’s like she’s a new person. “I feel weird and pale,” Patricia Krentcil said, adding that, in the future, despite how good she looks now, she will likely “squeeze a tan in here or there.” Here or there or 20 times a week … give or take. TM became a media “darling” after being charged with felony child endangerment (she pleaded not guilty ) for putting her 5-year-old in an artificial tanning booth, so it’s no surprise that old habits die hard. She says she was “born to be tan.” And/or possibly do time. We’ll see.
Joel Bush proposed to girlfriend Jennifer Orr the other night on the state capital grounds in Austin, Texas, with no one around but the two of them. So he thought. Photographer Patrick Lu happened upon the couple, took some amazing candid shots of the moment and them posted them on Austin’s Reddit . Hoping to share them with the newly-engaged couple (Jen said yes, thank god), he wrote, “Did any of you propose at the capital last night?” Lu received 1,400 “up” votes (the most ever in that sub-reddit), but didn’t even need to track down his mystery man: Bush himself found the post. “The thread found me through friends,” Bush said, adding that he’s active in the Austin tech meetup scene, so “I’m not surprised it found me.” Bush says he unwittingly got the best of both worlds, with a private moment shared by just the two of them, yet fantastic photos to cherish forever. Lu said Reddit was a logical spot to look for the soon-to-be-newlyweds. “Austin is actually a growing haven for tech companies and startups, and I had a gut feeling that the couple worked somewhere in that space. With techies, you have a lot of Redditors. I figured someone would have recognized them eventually.” Not even 48 hours later, it turned out.

Killer Joe had a gala screening Monday night in New York with stars Matthew McConaughey and Gina Gershon on-hand along with Oscar-winning director William Friedkin who had some choice words about gun violence, the law and their relationship to movies. His film, which will be released this weekend, described by its official website as a “Totally twisted deep-fried Texas redneck trailer park murder story” received an often-dreaded NC-17 by the MPAA for “graphic disturbing content involving violence and sexuality and a scene of brutality.” McConaughey and Friedkin weighed in on violence and its sources post- TDKR tragedy at the event, hosted by the Cinema Society. “Well, it’s a lot longer answer than I can give you now, but I will just say that is, one thing that we shouldn’t be saying in society when something like that happens anymore, we shouldn’t be saying ‘unbelievable,'” McConaughey told THR at the event. “It happens, and we don’t know the answer to it right now, but there’s definitely, people now more than ever, people can make a very murky line between reality and illusion.” Continuing he added, “They can make a very murky line between the games that are played and civilization, without any thought of consequences at times…” But Friedkin gave a more emphatic response to the violence that took place at the final installment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, saying the Joker references made by the accused gunman James Holmes was simply an act. “He was not insane. He premeditated that. He bought 6000 rounds of ammunition, he was eligible to buy guns and ammo, he set it up, he booby trapped his room…” Violence, insanity pleas and societal ills aside, the event, which was also co-hosted by Bally and DeLeón for LD Entertainment’s Killer Joe was a typically pleasant affair. The after-party took place at nightspot No. 8 and DeLeón tequila flowed. Also attending the event were Tracy Letts who wrote the play and screenplay for the film and other brass from the movie including producers Christopher Woodrow and Molly Conners, Mickey Liddell (CEO, LD Entertainment), David Dinerstein (President, LD Entertainment).
