Mack Maine Charged With Sexual Assault on Fan, Punching Woman in Face

Rapper Mack Maine has been charged with sexually assaulting a female fan and then punching her (female) friend in the face, according to police. Officials believe that the 31-year-old rapper invited Rachel Reed and Cailey Maddox onto a tour bus on August 22, and things got criminally inappropriate. While on the bus, Maine “put his hand down Rachel’s dress and grabbed her right breast” without her consent, at least according to court documents. The legal complaint states that after this happened, “Rachel got upset and when she and Cailey tried to leave the bus, but [Maine] held the door shut.” “Once the door was opened, Cailey was walking down the steps but turned and looked back to call for Rachel and [Mack] punched her in the face.” Hard. According to the complaint, the alleged attack by the Rick Ross and Lil Wayne collaborator resulted in him “breaking her jaw and knocking her down.” No word on when Mack is due in court .

Leonardo DiCaprio to Take "Long, Long Break" from Acting

The big screen is about to get a lot less handsome. Leonardo DiCaprio told Germany’s Bild newspaper this week that he’s “a bit drained and is “going to take a long, long break” from movies. It’s understandable: the heartthrob certainly has been a busy man. Over the last two years, DiCaprio has filmed Django Unchained (check out his Django Unchained quotes now!), The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street , the latter two of which hit theaters this year. So how will Leo spend all his upcoming free time? By hanging out with models, of course. But not entirely. “I would like to improve the world a bit,” he told the publication. “I will fly around the world doing good for the environment.”

Kate Middleton: Undergoing Hypnotherapy While Pregnant?

After her bout with the severe morning sickness known as hyperemesis gravidarum, Kate Middleton has taken to hypnotherapy to regain her appetite, a friend claims. Kate “still looks at food and feels nauseous,” Jessica Hay told Australia’s New Idea , adding that the Duchess of Cambridge hasn’t been the same since. She’s plagued by “ that feeling you have when you’ve had food poisoning and your stomach’s shrunk … she finds it very hard to eat a full meal and gets full quickly.” Hay said that this continuing issue led the 31-year-old wife of Prince William to seek the help of a hypnotherapist “in a bid to help with her appetite.” “The hypnotherapy is taking away any negative thoughts connected with food from morning sickness and replacing them with cravings for healthy, nutritious food.” So far, so good, according to Hay, who said that Kate Middleton has been filling up on wholesome goodies like berries, broccoli, oatmeal and smoothies. Maybe a nice roasted chicken recipe now and then too, for protein. “All in all, Catherine’s very happy,” Hay said. “With so much family around her and William, they’re starting to enjoy the pregnancy after a traumatic start.” Good to hear! Kate Middleton: Spotted at Starbucks!

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has been laying very low since announcing she is pregnant, but not so low that she’s cut out her morning Starbucks run. With little fanfare, she exited Kensington Palace for a very hush-hush walk through Kensington Gardens with dog Lupo followed by a trip to the coffee chain! Escorted by a security guard, the 31-year-old Duchess “looked beautiful,” according to an onlooker … to the surprise of pretty much no one on Earth. “Her hair was done nicely and she had a scarf, lovely long coat and boots on … she was wrapped up warm, so I couldn’t see the bump,” the observer adds. It’s unclear just how much she’s showing at this stage, but don’t expect a lot of splashy celebrity gossip magazine photo shoots or Instagram updates. Anyway, as the security guard waited outside with Lupo, Prince William’s wife went inside and placed her order herself: Her decaf drink, plus a cookie. Thus armed with provisions, the expectant royal took Lupo’s leash back from the security guard (the pooch is “so cute and well-behaved,” the spy says), and carried on. “She’s a regular,” a Starbucks staffer says of the Duchess. “Kate was smiling,” the observer continues. Sadly, no Kate Middleton photos were taken, but she “paid with a Starbucks card, which she swiped herself.” Royals. They’re just like us.

Kim Kardashian on Kris Humphries: Manipulative! Vindictive! Petty! Fame-Hungry!

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries may never get divorced. The former couple continued to battle in court yesterday, with all signs pointing to Humphries’ legal team dragging out these proceedings for as long as possible in an attempt to prove Kim somehow defrauded him into marrying her… or to simply irritate the heck out of his estranged wife. Kardashian, meanwhile, is allegedly telling friends she just wants her divorce finalized – NOT because she wants to marry Kanye West , but because Kris is a “cancer” she just wants to be rid of. “Kris is the first person I ever had to break-up with and that f-cked with my emotions,” Kim is supposedly telling friends, according to TMZ, going into detail about the pair’s experience filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians together: “He told our producers he would destroy my career and me if the show wasn’t edited right.” But that strategy will “backfire” on Humphries, Kardashian says, if he keeps claiming she was to blame for their marriage falling apart. She cites unaired footage from the E! series that is still out there and which depicts Kris as a “manipulative, vindictive, petty, fame-hungry jerk.” And, we can only presume Kim added, no way I’ll let him beat me at my own game! Whose side are you on in this divorce battle?

The Voice Promo Pics: Airbrushing Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera is one attractive woman, but the airbrushing she gets in these two new promotional shots for The Voice makes her borderline unrecognizable. On her own and with her cohorts, the 31-year-old looks great with her wavy hair, custom Xtina bling, and a piano-themed, black-and-white slimming dress. And Photoshop. Lots and lots of Photoshop. We’ll never quite understand the need to doctor images of someone so pretty already (see Christina Aguilera photos ), but such is life for PR folks. The singer will reportedly perform her new song, “Your Body,” on The Voice when it comes back in September – its first season premiering in the fall. Are you excited for the NBC singing competition’s next go-around?

Christina Aguilera paid tribute to Etta James today at the iconic singer’s funeral. “She was the one that cut right through my soul. So tonight, Etta, this song is for you,” the 31-year-old artist said before belting out a version of “At Last.” Christina Aguilera – At Last (Etta James Funeral) Stevie Wonder also performed “Shelter in the Rain” with a church choir at the emotional event, while Rev. Al Sharpton delivered the eulogy for James, 73, who died last week at the due to complications from leukemia.

Nick Cannon is recuperating after suffering a “mild kidney failure,” the 31-year-old’s wife Mariah Carey announced on Twitter today. Mariah uploaded a photo of herself with hubby Nick from inside his Aspen, Colorado hospital room. “We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful,” she wrote on her official website, adding that doctors tried — and failed — to remove her from Cannon’s room. “We’re doing OK but we’re stranded in Aspen,” Carey added. “I know, we could be in a lot worse places, but the truth is as long as we’re together, we’re OK.” I’m not trying to make light out of the situation because it’s a serious moment that’s very tough on all of us,” Carey, mother to twins Moroccan and Monroe, wrote. “So please keep us and our family in your prayers.” We hope Nick gets better soon!
