Jay-Z and Kanye West are finished with the bulk of their collaborative album, Watch The Throne , according to Jay-Z’s long-time engineer, Young Guru. How Many Times Should A Black Man (Chris Brown) Apologize? Young Guru revealed the album’s status to Vibe Magazine during SXSW in Austin, TX. He says that there are just a few small tweaks to make before the album is officially finished. “Right now, I’m really trying to get Jay and Kanye to hurry up and finish this Watch The Throne album because the world needs to hear it,” he said. “It just needs little tweaks and things like that. But the core of the album is finished.” No release date for the album has been set.
