Brad Womack and Emily Maynard: Is It Over?

Are The Bachelor’s Brad Womack and Emily Maynard over already? If OK! Magazine says so, it must be true, right? Mmmyeah not so much. This fine publication has had Jen Aniston pregnant or adopting about 18 times. You have to take with a boulder of salt their report that Emily’s engagement ring , conspicuously still on last week, is now NO LONGER on. Scandal! The magazine goes on to say that the “romantic version of Brad and Emily” is all for the cameras, and they’re “pretending for the sake of The Bachelor brand.” What nonsense. That brand has less credibility than this magazine. Sure, it’s a fun show and we love it too, but let’s be real. One marriage. 15 seasons. In real life, a staffer from the show, who may or may not actually exist, has revealed exclusively to OK! that Emily has broken up with Brad – for GOOD! “There have been so many breakups and make ups – mostly over the phone or Skype,” a source said. “Finally, Emily told him she can’t do this anymore.” Well, consider us convinced … or not at all. Don’t get us wrong, it wouldn’t shock us if they broke up, we’re just not buying this account for one second. Brad and Emily: Will it last?

Ali Fedotowsky to Brad Womack: Pick Emily!

Brad Womack’s final rose is set to be doled out on The Bachelor season finale Monday. Reigning Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky knows who she’d give it to. “I think both girls are great… but in the last two episodes, his connection with Emily [Maynard] has been undeniable,” Fedotowsky told Us Weekly . What makes Brad and Emily such a great fit? HE’S THE ONE : Roberto was for Ali. Will Brad be for Emily? “It’s been the little things that he’s done – like he had that little picnic for her at the beginning outside. He is just so smitten with her,” Ali said of “Brad’s” courtship. THG NOTE : Seriously, Al, you were on the show. You can at least give props to host-pimp Chris Harrison, who we all know sets up dates for his employees. Anyway, Ali says when Brad is with Emily Maynard , the truest sign of love is that “he wants to do anything to sort of reassure her – like telling her he loved her.” “They are both southern and polite, and I just think they’d make a really cute little couple. All along I thought it was going to be those two,” she admits. What do you think? Who should Brad choose on the Bachelor finale?

The Bachelor Season Finale Preview: Will Brad Womack Pick Chantal or Emily?

If Emily ever loves me the way she loved her ex-fiance, I’d feel like the luckiest guy on earth. I always said I wanted to find a truly sweet woman to spend my life with. Emily is that woman. That smile, that beauty. I’m so happy every time I’m around her. She makes me want to be a better man. I want Emily to be my wife . Not exactly your standard open-ended, vague tease, is it? While The Bachelor spoilers have said one thing, then another as far as who wins Brad Womack’s heart Monday night, perhaps the most telling indicator is the above quote, straight from the star himself in the season finale preview below … The Bachelor: Emily or Chantal? Both Chantal O’Brien and Emily Maynard are great catches, but only one will walk away with the final rose. No, he’s not ditching both like he did last time around. We ask: Who do you think should win The Bachelor?

Brad Womack on The Bachelor Secrecy: Brutal!

Two-time Bachelor Brad Womack says it’s been difficult keeping his engagement to Chantemily secret this entire season. We can imagine so. The long wait comes to an end March 14, however, and he says he can’t wait to reveal his choice to the world. He’s counting down the days. “Every Monday night since January 3 has not been a good night at my house,” he told People . “We will see how [my fiancee] handles it.” “I was particularly scared of the overnight, exotic date episode.” The pre-season finale blitz has Brad excited, but increasingly antsy. “It’s brutal. You go on [the show], you find someone, you choose each other and then you hit pause. You can’t just start the daily life stuff.” “I’m excited to move in together and go on real dates,” Brad Womack adds. “My only intention [in doing the show] was to start a future.” Hard as it’s been, and unclear as The Bachelor spoilers have been about the direction of the season, Brad was always sure of his choice. “Do I think this woman is the one? Damn right I do,” he says. “I probably shouldn’t say this but my heart was in a specific place pretty early on.” “I’m in love. There’s strength there and a real relationship. We have our ups and downs but we’re fighting through and making it work.” “I know everyone questioned my intentions but I know where my mind and heart are. I know what I want and who I want it with – her.” What do you think? Who should win The Bachelor?

Shawntel Newton on Brad Womack: I Was in Love!

Shawntel Newton is sad. She harbors no hard feelings about being eliminated last week on The Bachelor , but she was devastated just the same. She even uses the l-word to describe it. Here’s what Shawntel had to say about taking Brad Womack to her unusual workplace, the tension with her family, who she thinks will win and more … On taking Brad to work: “I thought I might as well lay my cards out on the table. This is my job. This is what I grew up around and if he wants to get down on his knee and propose, he should see what I do. It’s the final test almost.” On her family’s concerns: “I always thought that I would stay in Chico and take over the business. It was a shock to my family. Everything came at them at once – me saying I’m in love, I might be leaving this lifestyle in Chico, moving.” “I was falling in love so I was willing to move.” On being surprised she was cut: “I told him I was in love. It was like minutes [before] he left. I thought I’d have more time to explore what he thought about me moving, saying I love him, the funeral home. Unfortunately, he wasn’t feeling the same.” On moving on: “I compare this to losing a loved one because we go through the same stages of denial. In losing Brad, I allowed myself to get angry. I allowed myself to go through the stages in a healthy way and I’m not in love with him anymore.” On who she thinks will win: “I thought Ashley Hebert was going home. I knew that she hadn’t told him that she was falling in love and I had. It was a shock that he’d let a girl go who was in love and willing to leave her life.” “But my personal opinion is that he is in love with Emily. she’s everything he wants. He wants to be a father to her child. She wants to get married and have more kids.” Who do you think will win The Bachelor?

Source: Brad Womack Lies, Totally Proposed to Laurel Kagay

Laurel Kagay said Brad Womack popped the question to her before going on The Bachelor. He said reports of a marriage proposal were just “embellishment.” So who’s telling the truth? One of her friends, furious at Brad’s “lies” and his decision to paint Laurel as “some crazy who invented it all in her head,” wants to set the record straight. Whether he proposed or not, Brad dated Laurel for years. “If Brad Womack didn’t propose to Laurel Kagay then I’m the Queen of England,” Laurel’s pal wrote in a series of scathing posts on her personal blog . In one text message to his sweetheart, which Laurel Kagay shared with Us , Womack vowed: “You’re my future, Roo. Nothing is going to change that. “Laurel, I’m serious about this. Please marry me?” The friend said Brad even took Laurel ring shopping at a Cartier boutique – and even asked her parents for their blessing to marry their daughter! “I was always his biggest fan but not after the way he ditched Laurel to go on The Bachelor, because they offered a ton of money,” the friend said. “Then the way he totally denied their relationship, basically demeaning it to nothing. I’m sorry, Brad, but you have officially p*ssed me off.” Apparently. Of course, even if Brad did propose, she didn’t say yes, we’re guessing. His feelings for Chantal/Emily/Ashley aren’t necessarily fake, either. See The Bachelor spoilers here to see who he picks. Supposedly. Even the most trusted sources are wrong sometimes. But we doubt it here.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is The Bachelor!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy turned down The Bachelor in the U.S., but has assumed the leading role in the version of the hit show in his native Ukraine. The Dancing With the Stars hunk is the star of the inaugural edition of the romance reality series beginning March 17 on the Ukraine’s STB network. Why did he turn it down here – as did Chris Lambton, which ultimately gave us Brad Womack for a second time – but agree to it in Eastern Europe? Maksim Chmerkovskiy: The Bachelor! “There has never been a show such as this in Ukraine,” he wrote on his blog . “That makes me think that a first season would be the most ‘real.'” “I thought about everything VERY long. I know it’s hard to find somebody you can connect to on a TV project like this, but nothing is impossible.” “I can’t reveal anything, but I am very pleasantly surprised so far.” So basically, he felt that the Ukrainian version would yield more sincere hopefuls, less contrived drama and fewer Michelle Money -like crazies. Makes sense. How awesome is this promo, by the way? The music, the slo-mo, the grand gestures … even the smooth-talking voiceover guy. Whoever this Ukrainian Chris Harrison host-pimp counterpart is, we salute him. You rule, man, even if we have no earthly idea what you say.

Lindsay Lohan: A History of Thievery

Lindsay Lohan will be formally charged and arraigned today in court after a stunt in which she allegedly ripped off an expensive necklace from a jewelry store. While the star claims it’s just a misunderstanding (isn’t it always?), the L.A. County District Attorney believes Lindsay Lohan is a “seasoned” fashion thief. That’s the primary reason why the actress is being prosecuted for felony grand theft, and you can expect her history in this shady arena to be on full display. REPEAT OFFENDER : The D.A. will try to paint her as such, and there are certainly enough incidents from which to make a case. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] In deciding whether to prosecute Lohan, the D.A.’s Office heavily considered THREE OTHER INCIDENTS where Lindsay allegedly pilfered expensive items : She was accused of stealing a $12,000 coat in 2008 from an NYC club. She was suspected of taking a $400,000 necklace in 2009 from Elle. She was accused of taking a $35,000 Rolex from a “friend” in 2010. Lindsay was not prosecuted or convicted for any of the above, but they show a pattern, and that undisputed fact played a role in pushing the 2011 case. Prosecutors will ask the judge to admit the three incidents into evidence to show “prior bad acts” if the case goes to trial, as well as two other factors: Lindsay’s repeated run-ins with the law, including two DUIs. Lindsay’s repeated disregard for legal system by failing to perform probation requirements (not going to alcohol ed class, etc), blowing off court (trip to Cannes, etc), and just being an ass (the f–k you nails , etc). Most importantly, the D.A. has a surveillance video which shows Lindsay walking out of a Venice, Calif., jewelry store with the $2,500 piece in question. The necklace is partially hidden by other trinkets around Lindsay’s neck. Lohan will be arraigned today at 1:30 p.m. California time. Stay tuned …

Ashley Hebert Bikini Picture: From The Bachelor to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue!

In a cross-promotional effort somewhere between awesome and terrible, Monday’s episode of The Bachelor will feature a date with Brad Womack in which three of the remaining ladies will pose for the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue! Move over, Brooklyn Decker. Make room for Ashley Hebert … Don’t get us wrong. Ashley, Chantal O’Brien and Michelle Money are all attractive girls worthy of inclusion. But c’mon, we’re talking about The Bachelor , people. The SI swimsuit issue may have jumped the shark with this PR stunt, desperate to make a splash (pun intended) in the Free-Internet-Pics-of-Hot-Girls era. Nevertheless, you can’t deny that Michelle Money, for all her psycho stalker antics, has a ridiculous body she will flaunt in this setting. Chantal isn’t far behind. Ashley Hebert doesn’t have the same swimsuit model figure you normally see in SI, but is still a bona fide cutie by any measure, as the pic above proves. Her fun-loving spirit comes across well … and just forget what we said in the previous sentence. She looks like she has a dancer’s body and looks amazing. Interestingly, earlier previews for this episode may have been designed to try to throw off The Bachelor spoilers , as it was made out to look like the finale. Chantal laments that Brad Womack can’t choose her as “one of three girls.” But it’s not the end. There are still six remaining at this stage of the game. Here’s a sneak peek of the episode, in which Brad Womack gets the grumpy girls out of bed at 2 a.m. to go on this date. Oh, it will be quite worth it, girls. If you’re one of the six straight guys who watches The Bachelor, this will almost surely go down as the best group date in the show’s 15-season history: The Bachelor Swimsuit Issue Preview Who do you want to win The Bachelor?
