Ann Curry Cuts Hair, Riles Up NBC Bosses

You’ll forgive Ann Curry for not caring a whole lot about what her NBC bosses think. The former Today Show host made her first live appearance on screen last night since her controversial firing, hosting the Nightly News for Brian Williams. And while fans were psyched to see the return of this former co-host, they were also taken aback by her new haircut. As were network producers, apparently. ” Ann was always told by her bosses that her hair had to be long, and she just didn’t like to wear it at that length,” an insider tells The Daily Mail . “She is a no-fuss gal, and doesn’t want to spend a ton of time styling her hair. [So] she just decided to cut it.” Curry reportedly clashed often with producers during her Today run, with higher-ups mocking her fashion and style. So perhaps this was her small attempt at revenge? The Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live the other night, and it was a bit awkward … which is standard for Des. Still, it began to encroach into awkward awkward … not cute awkward. Obviously, she’s not gonna give away The Bachelorette spoilers or anything. But when Jimmy started asking her about Sean Lowe? A tad uncomfortable: Desiree Hartsock on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Part 1 She’d “probably” have accepted his proposal? Seriously? Maybe she’s just being honest and was that into the guy, but you have to wonder from a girl who just came off her very own special journey for love on ABC. The Bachelorette Rap Video: Desiree Hartsock Featuring Soulja Boy (Seriously)

Desiree Hartsock rapping is kind of adorable but also really awkward, and she does so alongside Soulja Boy in a special Bachelorette music video. Yes, we’re serious. Not exactly earth-shattering Bachelorette spoilers here, but she and a bunch of suitors recorded this on the season’s first group date. Take a look, and try not to cringe too noticeably: The Bachelorette Rap Video – Desiree Hartsock ft. Soulja Boy Remember Emily O’Brien, from Ben Flajnik’s season? That girl could RAP. Desiree Hartsock ? Not so much. We’ve seen THG’s interns do better. Then again, that’s Des for you. She was always a little bit awkward, not your stereotypical pulled-together girl, which is why we love her so hard. On the other hand, one of the guys dresses up like Jason Mesnick’s son, Chris Harrison appears at the end, and Soulja Boy’s career is apparently over. So it’s not without merit. Call this one a wash.

The season premiere of The Bachelorette is less than two weeks away, and we can tell you for a fact that you are in for a WILD ride come May 27. Okay not really. It’s pretty standard by Bachelorette standards. While we’ve already posted The Bachelorette spoilers for the latter part of the coming season, the details of the individual episodes are still coming to light. Starting with the premiere, during which you can expect … Desiree Hartsock looking great. That was a given. Ben Scott bringing his kid. Who’s REALLY cute. Zak Waddell standing on the balcony nude. Some SERIOUS hornball creeper action. Magician Nick doing some tricks that are actually cool. Des giving out roses all night, just as Sean Lowe did. Kasey Stewart overusing hashtags. #likehardcore Juan Pablo charming and representing in a big way. A LITERAL knight in shining armor wooing Des. Gratuitous Desiree Hartsock video montages. Near constant use of the word “journey.” Lots of Chris Harrison hyperbole. Can you handle the excitement or what?!

Jason Aldean Separates from Wife, Still Haunted by Cheating Scandal

Unable to move past the Jason Aldean cheating scandal of last year, this country singer and his wife are no longer living together. Sources tell Us Weekly that Alden and Jessica Ussery actually separated in January, as the latter simply has been unable to move on from her husband kissing former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr . The incident was actually caught on camera. Says a rep for Aldean : “I can confirm that Jason and his wife are having problems, but there is nothing more to share at this time. It’s a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way.” Ussery and Aldean have been an item since high school. In November, they appeared on CBS This Morning and said they were trying to work out their problems. “It hasn’t always been roses,” Aldean said at the time of the 11-year marriage. “We’ve been together for a long time and through a lot of things together. Those are things that most people get to deal with in private, but we didn’t have the luxury of doing that.” The singer and his wife are the parents of two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl.

Desiree Hartsock is close to wrapping her season of The Bachelorette, and on one episode, she receives advice from a person who knows the process well. Catherine Giudici ! Her former Bachelor romance rival, who won Sean Lowe’s heart over Des, showed up in Portugal to advise Desiree on who to pick. What a good sport. Catherine Guidici, 26, is currently happily engaged to Sean, 29, who sent home Desiree, 26, after the hometown dates on The Bachelor this winter. There is clearly no bad blood, however, as Des asked Cat – along with Lesley Murphy and Jackie Parr – to help choose her hometown date finalists. Tierra LiCausi must have been busy. A makeup free Demi Lovato is once again reaching out to her fans. The young singer is featured in the latest issue of People (the one that names Gwyneth Paltrow the World’s Most Beautiful Woman ), taking part in the magazine’s Not a Drop of Makeup section. Along with Olivia Munn, Jordana Brewster, Kelly Rowland, Morena Baccarin and Famke Jannsen, Lovato poses without lip gloss or a hint of mascara inside the publication. Ashton Kutcher Hopes for "Private" Mila Kunis Relationship

Ashton Kutcher has seen Mila Kunis nude . Many, many times. But the actor tells the latest issue of Elle that he doesn’t really want to talk about that. He’s hoping to keep the relationship private, a lesson he learned from his Demi Moore divorce . “I’ve learned that there are a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private,” Kutcher says. “And relationships are one of them. And I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship be private.” The star is more open about his professional life, which revolves these days around two gigs. Two and a Half Men : It “is a very commercial show. But it’s very fun to do. I’m surrounded by an amazing group of people. And I can be home for dinner.” Playing Steve Jobs on the big screen: “It was something I was scared to do. That indicated to me that it was a good thing.”
