Her 8-year-old son, James Wilkie, wants to be an actor, and he’s eager to start auditioning. But don’t get too excited, she isn’t sure when it will happen. Sarah Jessica Parker was interviewed for this Sunday’s PARADE magazine and the actress opened up about her home life and the future of “Sex and the City”. Check out some of the interview below: Her 8-year-old son, James Wilkie, wants to be an actor, and he’s eager to start auditioning. “I don’t want him to do it until after he goes to college: But part of me thinks maybe it’s better if he knows the truth now about how hard it is to be a working actor. I don’t know that he grasps what it took to get us here.” Parker acknowledges that her childhood left her with money anxieties and that she’s eager to capitalize on her earning power. “I have a lot of responsibilities outside myself. I have a large family. I want to know I can always be helpful. I guess I worry.” On tying with Angelina Jolie for the top spot on Forbes’ list of highest-earning actresses. “Where do they get these numbers? I didn’t plot a future like this, although I know some people do. When Matthew and I started working, all we knew is that we wanted to be great actors. I don’t think I ever thought about money or that people would know my name. I loooove the work! When I was a little girl getting free lunches in Cincinnati, could I imagine being on a list in Forbes magazine?” On the difficulty of balancing career and motherhood. “We’ve had two occasions recently where both Matthew and I were working, and it was so hard on the kids. Especially James Wilkie, because he can really articulate how he feels about our absence. On the other hand, there are big chunks of time when we’re home a lot more than conventionally working parents. So you hope to make up for it.” On fraternal twins Loretta and Tabitha. “They’re talking, they’re running, they need me. Loretta is deeply inquisitive: ‘Do you see that, do you hear that, Mama?’ She constantly checks that we are connecting with her.” Her sister is the family princess: “Tabitha does not give; she receives.” Babysitters? Yes. Live-in help? Not for them. “We love closing the door and having the only people in the house be our three children and us. It’s such a good feeling to know that we’re competent and capable and that it’s private.” On the things Broderick has helped her appreciate after nearly 20 years together. Baseball, Parmesan cheese, color (“Matthew’s mother was a painter, and he taught me to love colors and break all the rules”). She also says that “he’s given me a little cynicism,” noting that she used to take the world at face value but that her husband is more skeptical. “I’m less Pollyanna now. That’s probably healthy.” For her part, Parker has shared her love of ballet, and, she says, “I make him [get out and] do things. We go to the theater and we travel because I plan it.” Any chance for a third Sex and the City movie? “There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?” There you have it folks. A lot of people were not happy with “Sex And The City 2,” with the money they could make off a third movie it seems like a given it will happen, but do you think it’s a mistake? Last night’s summer season premiere of The Big C on Showtime was positively cougarriffic as Sex and the City ‘s Cynthia Nixon returned to the series with a bare-breasted bang. Cynthia bared both boobs in a sweaty scene in the sack with her mentally unstable lover. Call us crazy, but Skin Central thinks Cynthia’s looking absolutely MAM-azing for 45! In other nudes , Mary-Louise Parker did, indeed, make out with her Russian cellmate on Weeds , but the season 4 premiere of this skinful show was notable mostly for its lack of skin, with Mary-Louise exposing her bra and panties, and nothing else, as she changed into civilian clothes. Paul Scheer, Nick Kroll and FX comedy co-stars hit the ground and turned up some of the most unbelievable festival stories. But really, it’s about so much more: namely, the trials and tribulations of a group of friends, and their ongoing attempts to mess with each other’s lives. And that’s a sport that never goes out of season. During this past weekend’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival , four-fifths of the show’s stars — comedians Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer, Jon Lajoie and Stephen Rannazzisi — brought their mission to the masses, doing a pair of live sets in the fest’s Comedy Theatre … and those sets were heavy on the kind of good-natured provocation that has become the show’s calling card. So, in a lot of ways, it made sense to send the guys out into the fields of Bonnaroo, acre upon acre of shirtless dudes and blissed-out gals (some of whom also happen to be shirtless). In other words, it’s a place overflowing with folks who are in need of a good messing with. With the sun beating down on our heads, we boarded a golf cart and let the cameras roll, watching in near disbelief as the four comics chatted up guys in Speedos and capes, bandana-clad ladies, a slightly terrified child and exactly one gentleman who admitted to an ongoing affair with a married woman. The goal, as the guys would later tell us, was to create a sort of “Bonnaroo Taxi Cab Confessions ,” only, you know, in a golf cart. It was, to say the very least, a slightly amazing shoot (click the embedded video to see for yourself). So without further ado, we’re proud to present the cast of “The League” in all their comedic glory … running wild over the vast expanses of the ‘Roo, messing with complete strangers every step of the way. First Sarah Jessica Parker let it be known that she doesn’t think the idea of a rumored “Sex and the City” prequel is such a hot idea. Now her co-star on the big and small screen, Kristin Davis, has joined her in putting down the rumored project. “Not so into the prequel movie,” she told E! Online . “Because we’re us and we’ve discussed our history in the show already so for all of our fervent fans who listen to what we say, why would we rewrite that? And then have like different people with our names? It’s kind of freaky.” Earlier this month, reports suggested that studio execs were discussing an adaptation of “The Carrie Diaries,” Candace Bushnell’s 2010 novel that follows Carrie Bradshaw before she arrived in the Big Apple. Writer/director Michael Patrick King was said to be eying Blake Lively to take on the Bradshaw role in what was described as not an ’80s flashback flick, but a more contemporary vision of the character’s younger selves. Lively has since denied she’d be starring in the film. While the first “Sex and the City” movie became an international smash hit in 2008, grossing over $400 million at the worldwide box office, last summer’s follow-up ended up a critical punching bag and failed to cross the $100 million mark domestically. Nonetheless, Parker and Davis are holding out hope for a third film. “I don’t think we can pretend to go back. It’s creating two histories,” Parker told the Los Angeles Times of the prequel idea, but added of a third film featuring the established cast, “I think there’s one more story to tell. I know there is.” Said Davis, “I’m always hopeful, and I always believe there’s another story to tell because these are these women’s lives, so why wouldn’t there be another chapter.
