Josh Duggar Endorses Authors Who Condemn "Demonic" Homosexuality: Report

Josh Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame claims to love gay people, but his endorsement of a pair of controversial authors would suggest otherwise. He recently plugged home improvement experts David and Jason Benham‘s Christianity-based book, Whatever The Cost , on his official Instagram. “An incredible story of faith,” the soon-to-be father of four gushed. David and Jason Benham have came under heavy scrutiny, however, for openly slamming gay men and women on a conservative radio show. “We have a homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation,” David said, lamenting the “demonic ideologies” taking over our schools. In the wake of the controversial statements, the Benhams’ HGTV reality series, Flip It Forward , was canceled before its’ October 2014 premiere. Josh, the eldest son of 19 Kids And Counting parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, has been proactively fighting same-sex marriage for years. A 26-year-old conservative activist, Josh Duggar says he loves gay people , even as he works within the political process to fight against their rights. Veronica Partridge, Christian Blogger, Stops Wearing Leggings in Public Due to Men’s "Lustful" Thoughts

Veronica Partridge, a Christian wife, mom and blogger, has become a viral sensation thanks to a post she wrote about leggings, and why she stopped wearing them. As the debate over whether or not leggings or yoga pants are acceptable attire to wear (beyond working out, obviously) rages on, Veronica has made her choice. Her article explaining why has been shared tens of thousands of times on social media. Read the Oregon resident’s reasoning below and you’ll see why … “Was it possible my wearing leggings could cause a man, other than my husband, to think lustfully about my body?” she wrote in her viral blog post . “Sure, if a man wants to look, they are going to look, but why entice them?” “Is it possible that the thin, form-fitting yoga pants or leggings could make a married (or single) man look at a woman in a way he should only look at his wife?” It was at that moment, she says, when “I made a personal vow to myself and to my husband. I will no longer wear thin, form-fitting yoga pants or leggings in public.” “The only time I feel (for myself) it is acceptable … is if I am in the comfort of my own home or if I am wearing a shirt long enough to cover my rear end.” “I also want to set the best example of how to dress for my daughter.” “I want her to know,” Partridge writes, “her value is not in the way her body looks or how she dresses, but in the character and personality God has given her.” “I have been following the vow I made to myself for the past couple of weeks now and though it may be difficult to find an outfit at times, my conscience is clear.” “I feel I am honoring God and my husband in the way I dress.” Veronica Partridge Good Morning America Interview She says the “temptation associated with leggings” was confirmed by her friends and even her husband, whose honestly she took to heart in making this choice. File this one under: “The Continued Bats–t Insanity of Iron Mike” Sadly, these days, Mike Tyson isn’t in the news as much as he used to be, but when does he does show his bizarrely inked-up face on camera, he never fails to leave us shaking our heads and saying, “Wow, that guy is really out of his freaking mind.” Back in September, Tyson called a TV host a piece of sh-t live on the air. He then retreated to his den of lunacy to plan his next randomly psychotic move and boy, did he come up with a gem this time. Apparently, Mike recorded a track with Madonna a while back. Hold on, that’s not the crazy part. Mike spoke about his singing debut in a recent interview with Rolling Stone and his comments are pure, unadulterated Tyson. Enjoy: “When I [sing], I think about being some guy like Mussolini and they’re really arrogant but you try to come from a positive place and be uplifiting. You watch Mussolini on television…he is so mesmerizing. I try to think of myself that way. It helps if you imagine the interviewer being showered with saliva every time Mike says “Mussolini.” Yup, that’s good stuff. But, wait it gets better. Hitler, anyone? “You can take positivity from watching [Mussolini]. No wonder why Hitler was attracted to him…He had this street swag; he was doing stuff with his hands and moving his head before it was even hip hop.” Yup. Madonna to Mussolini to Hitler to hip hop, all in one crazy flood of stream-of-consciousness mumbo jumbo from the mind of a bona fide mad man. Back in 2013, Tyson admitted to being an alcoholic , and normally, when a former drunk starts in with the Hitler talk, you assume he’s back on the bottle. When it’s Mike Tyson, however, you just figure it’s more lovable, terrifying wackiness from the one of most baffling and compelling figures in the history modern sports. Florida Woman Drives Drunk, Crashes Into Pole; Kids Flee Car and Call the Cops

A Florida woman faces child neglect and drug charges after four children reported her to the police for DUI, according to a Gainesville Sun report. Angela Woodworth was arrested on Tuesday when she drove into a pole. At that point, her son, 11, and three of the boy’s friends all fled the vehicle. The four youths ran inside a nearby Steak ‘n Shake and began crying. “One of the boys told me they just left Ruby Tuesday, and his mom was really drunk and swerving all over the road,” Steak ‘n Shake worker Josh Kramer said. He decided to call the cops … only to watch Woodworth, 45, walk in and start screaming at the children while he was on the phone with the authorities. Upon seeing her come in, “The kids took off running around the restaurant,” he said, and Angela “started following them around the restaurant.” “I finally got them back up front and told them to stay on the sidewalk, that the police would be here in a second and they didn’t need to be scared.” “I was helping them out,” he said, and a good thing, too. Police said Woodworth was “obviously intoxicated” when the arrives, and “we are very glad that the children were not hurt,” Officer Ben Tobias said. Woodworth did not go quietly, either. Lena Dunham sent a very important message to Instagram followers yesterday. It centered around kale and Beyonce Knowles. Rocking a shirt similar to the one Queen Bey dons for her ” 7/11 ” music video, the Girls actress posed online prior to the ball dropping on Wednesday and wrote to fans: “Have a very Beyoncé new year! #2015 #kale.” HA! Dunham makes us laugh. Unlike Beyonce in the aforementioned video, however, Lena is very much wearing pants in her photograph.  Most of Dunham’s followers, however, focused on the figure underneath her shirt, giving the writer/producer/actress props for having shed many pounds over the past few months. “You look great, although I thought you looked amazing before,” one fan write. “I appreciate you being comfortable with your body. In case you needed more evidence that Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice were the worst parents in Hollywood the world… Insiders have confirmed to E! News that a reality star centering on 13-year old Gia Giudice is actually in the works. “It will be all about her group , 3KT. They’ve been filming already for two months,” E! reports, with the source confirming the completed pilot will soon be shopped to networks. Gia, of course, has been a part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey for many years. With her mother and father both having been convicted of financial fraud this year, and with Teresa starting her prison sentence on January 5, one might think the parents would be protective of their children. One might think another foray into reality television may not be the best direction for the young teenager. But one would apparently be very mistaken in Teresa and Joe’s warped world. “Teresa’s thrilled but is keeping her distance,” the E! sources adds. “She’s really not interested in being in the spotlight right now. She wants the focus to be on Gia.” Last month, Gia spoke out on her parents’ impending prison sentence and said the family will be fine. “We’re gonna be better than ever,” she said of when things finally calm down after her mother and father both serve their time. Teresa Giudice will be behind bars for approximately 15 months, beginning next week. Joe Giudice, meanwhile, will then begin his jail stint, which is scheduled to last for 40 months.
