Paris Hilton Kalls Out Kim Kardashian

Perhaps things are not all good between Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. While promoting her new shoe line in Mexico this week, the hotel heiress who made celebrity sex tapes into a profitable art form told The Associated Press: “There’s so many people out there who try to imitate what I do, but I am the original. There is nothing like me.” Hmmm… to whom could Paris possibly be referring?!? Claiming she has “the best fashion sense,” Hilton let her ego truly run amok during the event. She said: “The girls all love my style. When they buy my products, they can be like me!” And who is this person? Someone who has “done everything that I wanted to do,” Paris added. “I feel very blessed that I have been very successful in every area… There is nothing else to do!” Well… except star in another reality show , of course. The World According to Paris premieres on Oxygen this spring. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]

Facebook Pulls Back The Hack-A-Thon Curtain For MTV’s ‘Diary’

‘Diary of Facebook’ premieres Wednesday at 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. By Eric Ditzian Facebook creator and CEO Mark Zuckerberg Photo: MTV News & Docs Every so often, Facebook shuts down — not the social-networking site itself, of course, but the company’s headquarters in Palo Alto, California. And the temporary pause isn’t because anything is wrong; it’s because founder Mark Zuckerberg wants things to continue to go right. Welcome to Facebook’s famous “hack-a-thon,” an event when business as usual ceases and techies are given carte blanche to code like crazy and create innovative additions for the site. This Wednesday, at 11 p.m. ET/PT, MTV will bring you inside it all during “Diary of Facebook.” “Hack-a-thons are this awesome part of our culture,” Zuckerberg says on “Diary.” “Every month or two, everyone stays up all night just experimenting with things and building things quickly. And the only rule is that you’re not allowed to work on the same thing that your day job is.” That directive is how an employee named Pedram, who usually toils as a technical engineer, finds himself staying up in the wee hours to create a potentially groundbreaking application for the site. He’s not the only one. And even those who can’t code join in the action — cooking, juggling, drawing and more as they stay energized during the event. All that and more will be revealed during “Diary of Facebook,” which follows not only Pedram, but other employees who live and breathe social networking. Viewers will also meet Erin, a consumer-marketing employee intimately involved in Stories.Facebook.com , an effort to draw attention to users’ life-changing social-networking stories. You think you know Facebook, but until you check out “Diary,” you have no idea. Tune in to “Diary of Facebook,” airing Wednesday, March 30, at 11 p.m. ET/PT. Nate Dogg To Be Mourned At Public Wake Today

The event will precede the ‘Regulate’ singer’s funeral service, which is expected to be held on Saturday. By Jayson Rodriguez Nate Dogg Photo: Todd Williamson/ Getty Images Nate Dogg is set to be celebrated and honored on Friday (March 25) in his hometown of Long Beach, California. The hip-hop singer unexpectedly passed away earlier this month after suffering multiple health setbacks in the past several years stemming from separate strokes. His life will be recognized at a public viewing to be held at the Queen Mary hotel. His family and close friends, in addition to fans, are expected to attend the event, which is taking place a day before the singer’s funeral is expected to be held. Last week, Warren G., who teamed with Nate Dogg for the pair’s breakout hit, “Regulate,” spoke about his friend’s death to MTV News while attending a tribute show at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. “I was out on the Sweat Tour with Snoop, and we had got the word from his family on what was going on, and it was just a crushing blow for us,” he said. “Just, from going to see him and lifting his spirits up when he was in therapy, and stuff like that, it’s just crazy for that to happen. And I still don’t believe it, you know what I’m saying?” Warren added, “It kind of hurts me when I look at this shirt [the SXSW tribute show’s organizers sold Nate Dogg T-shirts, with proceeds going to the late singer’s family], it’s like, ‘Damn, that’s my homeboy on this shirt.’ And I’m hurting, and you know, a lot of people are showing tons of support for his family, for his homeboys, and we really and truly appreciate that. It’s real love.” Stick with MTV News throughout the weekend for coverage of Nate Dogg’s memorial services. People Are Crazy: Allentown, PA Woman Hires This Man To Kill Her Ex’s New Lover Via PayPal

A young lady who was jealous and enraged about the fact that her ex-boyfriend had moved on , has been charged for trying to hire a hitman to kill his new lover with stolen credit cards from Paypal: Marissa Mark, 28, from Allentown, Pennsylvania is alleged to have hired Essam Ahmed Eid through his amateurish website www.hitmanforhire.net. She wanted him to kill Anne Royston for $37,000 in 2006. She is accused of paying a $19,000 deposit with three stolen credit cards through website PayPal. Marissa Mark, left, is accused of hiring Las Vegas poker dealer Essam Eid, left, through his website www.hitmanforhire.net to kill her ex-boyfriend’s new lover. The shoddy website said: ‘Whether you are trying to put an end to a domestic dispute or eliminate your business competitors, we have the solution for you’. The hire-a-hitman website, which has since been taken down, said: ‘Assassinations are the most practical solutions to common problems. Thanks to the Internet, ordering a hit has never been easier. We manage a network of freelance assassins, available to kill at a moment’s notice.’ Court documents show that PayPal refused to transfer the money Mark allegedly paid from three stolen credit cards, meaning Eid never received any money. According to FBI accounts and court documents, Royston – who worked as a loan broker – was first contacted by Eid in September 2006 under the pretence of wanting to refinance his house. He visited her officers in Woodland Hills, California with one of his two wives, Theresa Engle, posing as his assistant, and told her ‘Somebody wants your head. Somebody wants you killed and they hate you a lot.’ He said he decided against killing her because she reminded him of his own daughter and she could save her life and see Mark dead by settling the balance of the contract. In this current case Mark was arrested in Jersey City, New Jersey and transferred to Allentown, Pennsylvania where she appeared in court charged with conspiracy, identity theft and other counts. She was granted bail on a $150,000 bond. There are rumours that the events could be turning into a movie. www.hitmanforhire.net??? This isht is crazy and needs to be a movie….real talk!!! Source

Elizabeth Taylor, Legendary Actress, Dead At 79

Oscar winner was one of the screen’s great beauties and object of tabloid fascination. By Gil Kaufman Elizabeth Taylor in 1957 Photo: Hulton Archive/ Getty Images One of Hollywood’s most legendary beauties, Elizabeth Taylor, died on Wednesday (March 23) at the age of 79 after spending two months in a Los Angeles hospital for treatment of congestive heart failure. One of the brightest stars in the history of the American movie business, Taylor starred in a string of hit movies in the 1950s and 60s, including “Giant,” “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and “Cleopatra,” while becoming an international sex symbol and object of tabloid fascination for her string of love affairs with leading men. In addition to being a fashion icon, perfume mogul and movie legend, later in life Taylor also became one of the leading advocates for victims of AIDS, raising millions for research and treatment of the disease in the wake of the 1985 death of her good friend the actor Rock Hudson, who died from the illness. According to reports, Taylor died in the early morning on Wednesday surrounded by her four children — Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd and Maria Burton — at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. “My mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest with great passion, humor and love,” said Michael Wilding in a statement read on “Good Morning America.” “Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contributions to our world.” Born Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor in London, England, on February 27, 1932, to American parents, Taylor left England with her family on the eve of World War II and relocated to Los Angeles. Already turning heads for her beauty, Taylor took a screen test as a child and was cast in her first film at age 10, 1942’s “There’s One Born Every Minute.” She followed with movies such as “Lassie Come Home,” “Jane Eyre” and 1944’s hit film “National Velvet.” She continued working steadily throughout the late 1940s and ’50s, emerging as one of the world’s great beauties thanks to her piercing violet-colored eyes and alluring come-hither gaze. Playing opposite James Dean in 1956’s “Giant,” Taylor emerged as a star in her own right, and she was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in 1957’s “Raintree County.” She was nominated again the next year for “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” losing again, but earned yet another nomination in 1959 for “Suddenly, Last Summer.” After three straight losses, Taylor finally got her award in 1960 for her peerless performance in “Butterfield 8,” in which she played Gloria Wandrous, a call girl who gets entangled with a married man. One of her most famous films was the 1963 epic “Cleopatra,” one of the most expensive movies of all time when it was filmed. She met her future husband Richard Burton on the set and the two began a torrid affair that scandalized Hollywood because of Burton’s married status. Burton would later become her fifth (and sixth) husband after the couple divorced in 1974 after 10 years of marriage and then remarried in 1975 only to divorce again the next year. She won a second Oscar in 1966 for her role in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” That would mark the end of her star status in Hollywood. Although she continued to sporadically make movie and TV appearances in the 1970s and ’80s, Taylor would never again reach such pinnacles of fame. The actress, who married eight times in total and became a confidant of late singer Michael Jackson, supporting him during his child molestation cases in the late 1990s and early 2000s, suffered a brain tumor in 1997 and would continue to battle a variety of ailments throughout the next decade and a half. Chris Brown Will Still Appear On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

ABC reportedly won’t press charges against the singer after his backstage tantrum at ‘Good Morning America’ studios. By Jocelyn Vena Chris Brown Photo: Jason Kempin/ WireImage Despite Chris Brown’s backstage outburst at the “Good Morning America” studios on Tuesday after host Robin Roberts questioned him about his life following his 2009 assault of Rihanna, the singer still will appear on another ABC show next week. A network rep confirmed to EW.com that Brown’s scheduled performance on “Dancing With The Stars” next Tuesday will go on as planned. Meanwhile, TMZ reports that ABC has no plans to press charges against the singer over the tantrum. The incident left many wondering if Brown had violated his probation in some way. E! News reported that plainclothes detectives arrived on the scene shortly after the outburst. TMZ pointed out that if New York prosecutors don’t press charges, then the singer wouldn’t have violated his probation and should avoid any further trouble with the law. MTV News contacted the Los Angeles County Probation Department about the matter, but they said they “were unable to comment.” Shortly after his reported meltdown, Brown was spotted playing basketball at New York’s West 4th Street Courts. In photos posted online, the singer appeared in good spirits, smiling as he played out in the open. E! News further reported that his post-“GMA” schedule included a stop at the Opera gallery, where he appeared “really happy and in a great mood.” An release party held in honor of Brown’s F.A.M.E. album at Webster Hall on Tuesday night also went on as scheduled, MTV News confirms from sources. Video posted online shows the embattled singer performing at the event. A source told People.com that Brown has “been trying to move on from his past and focus on his music, and he’s finally putting out an album. Why can’t we focus on that? He makes great music and he loves his fans. He’s a good kid.” What are your feelings about the Brown incident? Should he be allowed to perform on “Dancing With the Stars”?
