Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Mathers, have recently reconciled and may even get back together in the romantic sense, a surprising new report says. It’s just Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams style wishful thinking, either. Kim’s mom, Kathy, recently spoke about the couple’s close relationship. Kim Mathers’ mom says the two see each other “all the time” and “get along better than ever,” and he’s currently building her a new home in Macomb, Mich. “She has been clean all these years, she just takes care of her family. She’s doing very well,” Kathy said. “I think they might get back together soon.” Eminem, 41, and Kim Scott met as teenagers. They got married in 1999, divorced in 2001, married again in 2006 and got divorced the same year. Their tumultuous relationship was marred by allegations of violence, drug use and infidelity, as his fans know via songs like 2000’s rage-filled “Kim.” All hope is not lost, though, as the couple clearly has a strong bond. Marie Hartter, grandmother to Eminem’s adopted daughter and Kim’s biological daughter from a previous relationship, Whitney, is also optimistic. “They will probably grow old together one way or another, as much as he says he hates her in his music, he loves her that much too, I feel,” she said. “I think it’s kind of like throwing gas on the fire ,” Marie adds. “I’ve always felt that that was each of their one true love. I think they just met very young.” Eminem and Kim were most recently seen together when their daughter, Hailie Scott , was crowned Homecoming Queen of Chippewa Valley H.S. Hailie stepped out at the event with Kim Mathers , while her dad reportedly watched from inside the school so as not to overshadow her big moment. Think Em and Kim should give it another shot? And would it take?
