Tom Hanks is a busy guy. One minute he’s in the Saving Mr. Banks trailer , the next he’s popping up on these new Captain Phillips posters. Check out both the one-sheet and international Captain Phillips posters below! As you can see in this Captain Phillips trailer , the film follows the events surrounding Captain Richard Phillips his ship, the MV Maersk Alabama, being taken hostage by Somali pirates. These are two great posters. The international one, featuring Hanks, does a great job at conveying the general plot. There are pirates (one of whom has a case of the crazy eyes)… they have guns… Tom Hanks is nervous. The domestic one-sheet is just an exercise in great composition. Captain Phillips , directed by Paul Greengrass, opens in theaters on October 11.

Beating women is bad for business. Rogers Communications Drops Sponsorship Of Canada Concert After Chris Brown Booked To Perform Via E! Chris Brown’s name can still make waves—even North of the Border. One of the sponsors of a concert in northeastern Canada has withdrawn its support of the event after learning that Brown was scheduled to perform, E! News has confirmed. Energy Rush, a show put on by radio station Energy 103.5, is scheduled for Aug. 31 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The station’s website gives Chris Brown top billing for the show. Rogers Communications, a major Canadian telecommunications firm, states that that it pulled its sponsorship from the show specifically because Brown has been added to the bill. According to their statement: “Rogers has been a sponsor of the Energy Rush concert series for the last seven years, an opportunity that has brought many popular musical acts to metro Halifax,” a company spokesperson told E! News. “Our agreement to continue sponsorship of the series was made before Chris Brown’s appearance was announced. However, as soon as he was confirmed as one of eight performers, we decided to withdraw our sponsorship at this time. “We have shared a great partnership with the local radio station for the last seven years and we appreciate their understanding of our decision,” the spokesperson added. Apparently Rogers was had NO idea that “Beat ‘Em Down” Brown would be taking the stage until the “F #TeamBreezy” tweeters pulled their coat (see, “snitched”). Earlier this year there was a rumor circulating that RHOA cast members Nene Leakes and Kenya Moore got into an angry bird brawl with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills attention-slore Brandi Glanville, and now some details have come out about exactly what went down. via Wet Paint A few months ago we heard rumblings of some epic fight between Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, and Real Housewives of Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore, but we didn’t learn much about the tense incident. However, on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live Andy Cohen gave viewers a little more insight into the events of the night, which took place at an after party following the Summer By Bravo promo shoot with tons of Bravolebrities in attendance. “It was a knockdown, slapdown sh*tshow. Drizzy’s noticeable absence from the awards considering his 12 nominations and new album coming out in 2 months had the rumor mill buzzing with talk that he skipped the show to avoid a run in with fellow waffled-colored nemesis Chris Brown , but Drake took to Twitter last night to supposedly address the real reason why he was a no-show: On one hand, this sounds believable since this “beef” is getting older than old at this point , but on the flipside, Drizzy also seems to have become overly conscious about keeping his physical distance from any personal controversies since his bottle brawl with Breezy plus he HAS been doing some ish talking in interviews lately.
