The NFL’s Miami Dolphins have a new logo. One they meant to unveil April 25 but leaked. Dolphins CEO Mike Dee made it official Wednesday, saying that the logo that has made the rounds on Internet in recent days is the real deal: Over the weekend the logo was leaked when one of the team’s players was wearing a T-shirt with the new design in a Twitter pic. Ah, the Digital Age. Also on Wednesday, the NFL’s official website accidently posted the new logo on its “Predict the Draft Pick” page. That page was quickly taken down. Featuring a meaner and sleeker looking dolphin, the logo is still similar to Miami’s traditional look as the marine mammal is cascading across a sunburst. Whether it will help them swim past New England is another story. New logo or not, Ryan Tannehill is still the one wearing it when he lines up under center.

Forget any supposed fighting between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth . The singer is in a real battle with the Carriage Operators of North America. Following Miley and her mother coming out in support of a ban against horse drawn carriages in New York City, CONA board member Tommy Doyle has fired back at the star via TMZ. Doyle insists there is no animal abuse in the industry and that the horses are “properly tended to” and “very well taken care of.” “How many times has Miley spent with working horses?” he asks. “Does she even know what a healthy horse looks like? Has she been in the barn to see these animals?” Cyrus is not the only famous person involved in this fight. Lea Michele and Alec Baldwin have expressed outrage at the carriage practice as well.

Over the next month, attendees at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York City will be in for a surprise: An Oscar-winning actress, asleep in a glass box. As co-creator of a piece titled “The Maybe,” Tilda Swindon will arrive at unannounced times and lie down for all to see. The museum itself will reportedly be unaware of when Swindon takes part in the exhibit, which will be moved all around the grounds, as explained in the following MoMA statement to The Gothamist : “An integral part of ‘The Maybe’s incarnation at MoMA in 2013 is that there is no published schedule for its appearance, no artist’s statement released, no museum statement beyond this brief context, no public profile or image issued. The family of a three-year old girl from east China’s Shandong Province can finally breathe easier. The child has been rescued from her relatives’ washing machine. As depicted in the following video, the girl and her mother had been visiting loved ones when the toddler was left unsupervised in the laundry room. Firefighters were called to the scene and needed multiple hours to cut it open and free the little one, who was unharmed and hopefully learned a valuable life lesson: Always send your laundry out to be cleaned.
