Lawrence Taylor will do no jail time for paying a teenage girl $300 for sex a while back: Pro Football Hall of Fame member Lawrence Taylor was sentenced to six years’ probation in a New York court on Tuesday, following his plea of guilty in January to sexual misconduct and having sex with an underage prostitute. Taylor will have to register as a sex offender. However, he will not know until an April 12 hearing what level of offense will be assigned to him. The judge in the case in Rockland County Court refused to allow the alleged prostitute, now 17, to speak in court. Such statements are not allowed, the judge said, because the case against Taylor was a misdemeanor. However, the girl spoke to media members outside court and said she believes Taylor, 52, should have been sent to jail. Taylor was arrested in May 2010 and admitted to paying the girl $300. At the time, the girl was a 16-year-old runaway. He said at the time the girl told him she was 19. Taylor apparently cut a deal with prosecutors to avoid jail. Prosecutor Arthur Ferraro told USA Today that Taylor’s deal gave information “in the field of human trafficking in several jurisdictions and with federal authorities.” Speaking to reporters, the girl said she was not a prostitute but had been beaten and ordered to go to Taylor’s hotel room in Montebello, N.Y., by another man. Geeze, this is all bad, but LT should be lucky he didn’t get any jail time for this isht. Source
