We know he can play the flute. And woo women. And guzzle milk like a champ. But who knew Ron Burgundy could write?!? The beloved newscaster has announced that he will release a memoir in anticipation of Anchorman 2 . It will be titled “Let Me Off at the Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings” and it will hit book shelves on November 19. Teased Burgundy in a press release: “I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work. I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing…I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!” To paraphrase one of our favorite Anchorman quotes , we’d rather take it to a glass case of emotion. Maybe while eating a wheel of cheese.
Whether he’s on your top 5 list or not, you have to give props to Fat Joe. He’s been releasing albums since 1993 and still is relevant today. Additionally he introduced us to one of the greatest MC’s to ever touch the microphone, Big Pun. Continue Continue reading →
Here’s former super babe Blake Lively at the premiere of ‘Turbo’. I say former because ever since she hooked up with Ryan Reynolds her talent and looks have gone down the tubes (which is one and the same). I believe banging Ryan is a cancer to any woman’s career. Take Alanis Morissette and Scarlett Johansson for example. Alanis’ music was always crap, but now its non existent and Scarlett had one of the greatest racks of all time and now she’s practically boobless. So my advice to Blake is to get away from this dude as fast as you can. And when you finally break free from this douche, I’ll be waiting for you in my mom’s basement.
Deacon Jones, one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history, passed away last night at his home in Southern California. He was 74 years old. Sources confirm that Jones, a 14-year veteran who played from 1961-1974, died of natural causes. “Deacon Jones was one of the greatest players in NFL history. Off the field, he was a true giant,” said Redskins general manager Bruce Allen, whose father, George, coached Jones with the Los Angeles Rams. “His passion and spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him. He was a cherished member of the Allen family and I will always consider him my big brother.” Jones was honored at the Defensive Player of the Year twice and was selected to 8 Pro Bowls, an impressive resume for anyone, let alone a 14th round draft pick. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980. Later, Jones was named to the NFL’s 75th Anniversary All-Time Team and dubbed Sports Illustrated “Defensive End of the Century.” We send our condolences to his friends, family and loved ones.
This book is almost too awesome for me to put into words. I’ve long been a fan of the Legend of Zelda. It is not only my personal favorite video game series, but arguably the greatest series in video gaming, period. When this book released in Japan for Zelda’s 25 year anniversary, many hoped it would get translated and come to the States. Thankfully, our wish has been granted. This book is about as high-quality as they come. The opening letter from Shigeru Miyamoto sets a wonderful, celebrato
If you like big fat cottage cheese badonkadonks, then this post is not for you. However, if you love hot Brazilian models with firm toned butts, then you will love Victoria’s Secret model Lais Ribeiro . Here she is showcasing what could be the greatest ass of all time. I’d love to sink my teeth into that. Truly unreal!
