Fire-Breather Performance At Pep Rally Sends 7 Students To The Hospital A group of fire-breathers performed at a local high school in Florida . What could go wrong? According to CBS12 News : A performer was burned and seven students were taken to the hospital following an incident at a pep rally at Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach in Florida, according to Delray Beach Fire Rescue. A fire-breather wielding a baton suffered burns during the performance, said a spokeswoman for the School District of Palm Beach County. Several students posted video and Snapchats of the incident on Twitter. One person, identified as Ricky Charles, was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter. He’s in good condition. A spokesman for Delray Medical Center says Charles will be at a news conference at the hospital Friday morning. Delray Beach Fire Rescue said later seven students went to the hospital. “Right now I’m glad the kids are okay,” said her mother. “I don’t think it was a wise decision. Reynaldo Rey Dead At 75 Comedic actor Reynaldo Rey, well-known for his roles in many Black classics, died on Thursday due to complications from a stroke he suffered last year. He was 75 years old. Via TMZ : Reynaldo Rey, longtime comedian and character actor, died early Thursday morning in Los Angeles … TMZ has learned. Rey was famous for his movie roles in “Friday,” “White Men Can’t Jump,” and “Harlem Nights.” He also appeared in tons of TV shows going back to the 80s … such as “The Bernie Mac Show,” “The Wayans Bros.,” “227,” and “Sanford.” His manager tells us Rey passed away in a hospital. He suffered a stroke last year … and started suffering complications in January. He’d checked into the hospital for treatment. We’re told his wife was at his side when he died. Reynaldo was 75 years old … and funny as hell as Red’s dad in “Friday.” R.I.P. So sad! May he rest in peace.
