Nicki Minaj covers the April 2012 Issue of Allure Magazine. In the interview, she talks about coming for Jay-Z’s spot and how she loses weight WITHOUT exercise. I always looked at it like a business, something that I could create an empire out of…. I had a little conversation with Jay-Z at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. He said, ‘Congratulations on all your success.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m coming for you. I’m coming for your spot, Mr. Mogul.’” When asked how she stays fit Nicki says: “I’m naturally petite, but I definitely struggle with keeping those extra pounds off. And I hate working out. I can’t stand being on a treadmill. That mentally irks me. When I need to lose a few, I just cut out sugar and starch.”

Oprah scored the first interview with Bobbi Kristina since the death of her mother, Whitney Houston. The interview was intimate, revealing and very heartfelt. Bobbi Kristina says she is dedicated to continuing her mother’s legacy and plans to dance, act and sing. Instead, she was sitting in a room full of people celebrating her life while she mourned the death of her idol. In her own words, Brandy says she is “destroyed” by Whitney Houston’s death. Rhymes With Snitch Brandy has often said that Whitney Houston was her inspiration to sing. Whitney and Brandy became close after Whitney played Brandy’s fairy godmother in a 1997 Cinderella TV movie. Whitney died on Brandy’s birthday and Brandy is completely destroyed… Brandy tells Us Weekly, “My heart is destroyed. I lost my idol and dear friend. My prayers go out to Whitney’s family and her millions of fans around the world. Whitney – the greatest voice of all time – you are my angel and I will always and forever love you.”
Chaka Khan was close to Whitney Houston and recently did an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan. During the interview she reflects on Whitney Houston’s life and also slams Clive Davis for continuing with his Pre-Grammy Party in the wake of Whitney Houston’s Death. Chaka told Piers, “I thought that was complete insanity. I don’t know what could motivate a person, to have a party, in a building, where the person, whose life he had influenced so enormously, and whose life had been affected by her…I don’t understand how that party went on.”
