Why He’s Loved: A Gallery Of Inspirational Quotes And Powerful Moments From Nipsey Hussle

Source: Luis Sinco / Getty Inspirational Quotes From Nipsey Hussle The entire world is continuing to mourn the loss of Nipsey Hussle and the legacy he left behind. One of his greatest achievements was his ability to talk and share his inspiration. Nipsey was always giving us soundbites and pushing the message wherever he could. “In our culture, there’s a narrative that says, ‘Follow the athletes, follow the entertainers,’” he once told The L.A. Times . “And that’s cool but there should be something that says, ‘Follow Elon Musk, follow [Mark] Zuckerberg.’ I think that with me being influential as an artist and young and coming from the inner city, it makes sense for me to be one of the people that’s waving that flag.” Take a look at these videos and moments from his life and career and how they continue to spread the messages he was trying to deliver. #LHHATL: Mimi Vs. Stevie J And Faith Evans Has Twitter Picking Sides…But Whose Side Are They On?!

Source: VH1 / VH1 Mimi Drama Is BYKE We knew this season of Love & Hip-Hop would be explosive and we knew this feud would be at the center of it. Mimi and Stevie J have had the longest reality show back and forth love/hate relationship of all time. Now, they’re gearing up to fight some more as Mimi was upset Stevie introduced their daughter to Faith Evans before Mimi *checks notes* met Faith Evans? Really? Twitter was a bit confused because it’s not like Faith Evans is some stranger. She’s Faith Evans! Also, Mimi might not wanna get buck at Faith who can get scrappy when she wants. Twitter was firmly on ONE person’s side, so peep the shade they were tossing. Also, peep their skepticism about ANOTHER story Mimi was telling. #LHHATL Faith is very level headed. Mimi wanted to have a problem with her but Faith threw the brakes on all that drama real quick — barbara morris (@BarbaraBann1366) March 26, 2019

Black Girl Magic: Meet The Beauty Brand That’s Building Wells In Africa

Source: Courtesy of Psyche Terry/Urban Hydration / Courtesy of Psyche Terry and Urban Hydration Psyche Terry, CEO Of Urban Hydration Is Giving Back In A Big Way A burgeoning black beauty brand is putting its money where its mouth is – using some of its revenue to help provide access to clean drinking water in Africa. Psyche Terry founded Urban Hydration with her husband, Vontoba, after suffering from skin ailments for years. The result is a line of plant-based skin and hair care products, like an aloe vera gel mask and coconut oil shampoo and conditioner – that is in some 9,000 stores nationwide. “We’ve been very intentional with our ingredients,” Terry said. “if you’re struggling with any disease, you can feel safe using it or with your children or on a pet.” Source: Courtesy of Psyche Terry/Urban Hydration / Courtesy of Psyche Terry and Urban Hydration But Terry said Urban Hydration’s goal is not just to create beautiful hair and skin, but to also give back to people in need. Last year, the company donated 16 percent of its revenues to charity, Terry said. In 2017, the company partnered with nonprofit WATERisLIFE, and a portion of the proceeds from every product sold provides a gallon of water to families in need. The company has financed two wells in Kenya and is now helping to build a third in the Congo. Urban Hydration also awards a college scholarship annually and supports a school for the blind. “We have a heart for serving, and we’ll see where that takes us,” Terry said. “We just want to work as hard as we can so that more people can see that it doesn’t really matter where you come from or how much you have, you can give back. it’s our hope to grow that message.”

Ursula-Faced Ankle Ash Kodak Black Harassed Young MA Online And The Internet Is Wondering Why He’s Still A Thing

Source: Randy Holmes / Getty Kodak Black Is Being Trash Kodak Black, the rapper who will go to trial in April for criminal sexual assault charges, had some choice lyrics about Young MA, world-renowned MC who is also a lesbian. “I’m f*** Young M.A, long as she got a coochie.” Young MA was on IG Live quite frustrated that her fans and trolls were in the comments asking her about the lyric. “Obviously, the n**** is weird.” She added, “I know I’m a female…. But at the end of the day…that’s not my preference.” Kodak, again responded in the only dumb a$$ way he can: “I’m talkin’ ’bout, how are you a girl but don’t want your p**** penetrated?” Responses from the LGBT community and beyond were swift and precise. Kodak is being a whole trash bag of a human and harassing a woman about sex WHILST FACING SEXUAL MISCONDUCT CHARGES is about as trash as can be. Which all begs the question, why is Kodak even still around with fans and followers? His music really hitting people like that? Kodak Black publicly harassing Young MA for sex as if he wasn’t charged with felony first degreee criminal sexual conduct and doesn’t have an upcoming rape trial he should be worried about https://t.co/RPTkxUFeiK — Ivie Ani (@ivieani) March 18, 2019 Either way, the dragging is necessary and widespread. All About Me: Twitter Is STILL Dragging Nene For Making Eva’s Wedding All About Her…Is It Fair?!

Source: Bravo / Getty Nene Stealing Eva’s Shine? This week’s episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta was supposed to be all about Eva. It was her marriage, her glorious moment with her boo and his tremendous vows . However, so much of the episode was focused on Nene and her problems with her marriage. She was complaining and said about her seemingly impending divorce from Gregg. However, just yesterday she denied that there was any divorce happening at all. So was this all for attention? Was this all for ratings? Bravo is catching a ton of flack as well for their part in the whole situation as they were splicing images of Nene’s wedding with Eva’s, making the episode as much about Nene as the woman of the hour. Word? So who is to blame? Wait Eva’s wedding wasn’t the season finale and she had to share her spotlight with Nene’s drama… #RHOA pic.twitter.com/XVwDVv4DhD — Epiphany (@MyEpiphanyB) March 18, 2019 Twitter is dragging everyone and it’s petty as hell. Now, he’s going in on Lil Wayne, Reginae and Toya Wright. During a show in Miami, Kodak told the DJ to cut off a Lil Wayne song and declared that “You should’ve died when you was a baby” when talking about Weezy. Reginae hopped on IG to send a subliminal at Kodak. View this post on Instagram You new lil rappers need to start giving props and respect to the Goat. My father don’t bother nobody . However, Kodak responded by saying he…um…would like to have sex with her. SMH. Twitter was NOT having it and they came for his neck. People laughing bc Kodak called Reginae bald head. Vote below Bracket created by @cheinwunderland . pic.twitter.com/vSC5oZZaao — VICE (@VICE) February 25, 2019 Vice Ruined Black History Month This has been a wack a$$ Black History month. From alleged scammy beat downs to terrible Oscar winners to nooses on high fashion. We just wanted to have the end of our month in peace. Vice Media wouldn’t let us have that. They decided to put together a Black movies vs. TV bracket – presumably because they couldn’t think of more than eight black movies or TV shows. It’s all a mess. First, they had Martin vs. Fresh Prince IN THE FIRST ROUND. They even have Love & Basketball in the damn TV side. WTFFFFFF. did a bunch of white people from Vice come up with that black tv shows bracket — diana (@takeDianasbra) February 26, 2019 They are getting ceremoniously dragged to hell for it. This is trash and they deserve it.
