The famed director, 68, and his longtime partner and president of a big-time Chicago-based investment management firm, Ariel Investments LLC, 43, are no strangers to showcasing their relationship in the spotlight. The pair are often spotted hand-in-hand on the red carpet, everywhere from the Cannes Film Festival to Formula One Grand Prix races to the NAACP awards. This will be the second marriage for the “Star Wars” writer-director — he was previously married to Marcia Lucas (1969–1983) — and the first marriage for Hobson, who helms the $3 billion investment firm and is a regular financial contributor to “Good Morning America.” Lucas recently made headlines after donating $4 billion to an education foundation — the amount he received after selling Lucasfilm Ltd. (which Lucas solely owned) to Disney. “For 41 years, the majority of my time and money has been put into the company,” Lucas said of his donation. “As I start a new chapter in my life, it is gratifying that I have the opportunity to devote more time and resources to philanthropy.” George Lucas is a very lucky man. Scheme on that Drizzy! Well Kobe may have laughed it off when fans were chanting Drake’s “She wasn’t wit me shootin’ in the gym” off his “Stay Schemin’” verse but apparently Vanessa doesn’t find it very funny. The real actual basketball wife finally addressed the lyrics nearly a year after they dropped in a lil rant in her Instagram comments. Here’s what she had to say: I love when immature kids quote a rapper that has never been friends with Kobe and knows nothing about our relationship. Just shows how gullible they are. I don’t need to be in the gym. I’m raising our daughters, signing checks and taking care of everything else that pertains to our home life. I really wish people would stop THINK and then realize that they are being sucked into someone’s clear intention to monetize and gain attention off of our family’s heartache. This is real life. I hold down our home life so my husband can focus on his career. It’s a partnership. Since my husband is isn’t friends with Drake, we received a text of an apology forwarded from his manager. It’s done and over with and it’s now time for people to THINK before speaking. There ya go Drizzy, don’t worry if she shoots hoops, she writes checks! FBI Lists Top 20 Most Dangerous Cities In America In 2012 A few months ago, we presented you the top 10 most dangerous cities in America . Today, the FBI has released an updated version of that list and many cities that were listed before have either put the guns down, or picked more up. Via Examiner Thursday, the FBI released their list of the top 25 most dangerous cities in America; the most recent report reveals that overall crime is down across the United States and is currently at a five-year low. Each year, the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) compiles the data collection of crime in the US, which includes violent crimes, rapes and robberies. The report only includes cities that have at least 100,000 residents. A violent crime is described as “murder and non-negligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault” according to the FBI.
