Stylist Gives African Pride Makeovers On “The Real” African Pride made their national television debut today with a special segment on  The Real , highlighting the company’s work with Dress for Success and ongoing commitment to initiatives that empower women. Two lucky ladies from Dress for Success received makeovers complete with interview ready hair. Celebrity stylist Tasheara Neshell (she does Jennifer Hudson’s hair – for real!) also offers up some great tips for maintaining your hair during the hot and humid days of summer. The segment demonstrates African Pride’s Olive Miracle and Shea Butter Miracle hair maintenance lines on women with two natural textured hair patterns— wavy and kinky. The resulting styles showcase how nourishing ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E work together to reduce breakage and dryness while leaving hair manageable, shiny and interview-ready.   Each member of the studio audience received a gift bag containing an array of African Pride hair care products to maintain healthy, moisturized hair just in time for summer.
