South Park Creators: ‘We Cannot Stand Behind Censored Muhammad Episode’

When Comedy Central aired last night’s episode of South Park — which, in spite of death threats by radical Muslim groups , picked up where last week’s Muhammad-in-a-bear-costume installment left off — fans were surprised to hear Muhammad’s name bleeped. Were creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone just poking fun at the Muslim culture with some kind of meta-censorship joke? Or was the network taking extra measures to protect themselves in light of the recent threats? Click through for the official explanation from Parker and Stone.

Tina Fey rang in the Easter weekend by appearing on BBC’ s Friday Night With Jonathan Ross , where the Date Night star hit the Brits with some 30 Rock knowledge. The first lesson: Liz Lemon is actually a Sliding Doors -version of Tina Fey. The second lesson: Alec Baldwin, although the only real actor on the Emmy-winning series, has never seen an episode of the show. At least, that is what Fey deduced after filming 30 Rock ‘s season finale, “Khonani,” which pokes fun at the recent NBC late-night wars. Spoilerphobes beware.

Rachel Weisz: Bond role would be a Dream

Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz has revealed that she would love to land a role in the next Bond movie, according to reports. Weisz, 40, who is currently filming new movie Dream House opposite Bond actor Daniel Craig , said she would definitely like to be a Bond girl in the next flick, Bond 23 . “I’ve been filming with Daniel in Toronto. We’ve been getting on really well and yet I still haven’t had an offer to be a Bond girl – but if he asks me, I’d definitely do it.” Weisz recently won the Best Actress gong at the recent Olivier awards in London and we think she’d be a very sexy Bond girl.
