Ain’t no shame in her game. UK Woman Wears Beard Caused By Medical Condition At least she’s not letting her medical condition bring her down. According to Jezebel: Harnaam Kaur is a 23-year-old teaching assistant from the U.K. And it so happens that she proudly sports a beard. “It’s the way that God made me, and I’m happy with it,” according to Harnaam. In the words of Beyonce: ***Flawless. Starting at 11, her polycystic ovary syndrome made her hair growth really dramatic, the Huffington Post reports. She tried shaving, bleaching, waxing twice a week but nothing quite worked. In school, she was bullied, called names like “beardo” and “she-male,” because people seem to think it’s okay to act like a complete f*****g monster. It got to the point where she was afraid to leave her room, self-harming and having suicidal thoughts. Finally, at 16, she was baptized as a Sikh and stopped cutting her hair. Other than a brief period where, at her parents’ urging, she tried shaving one more time, she’s rocked the beard ever since. And she says it’s made her more confident: “I feel more feminine, more sexy and I think I look it too,” she told the Mirror, adding that she sees no conflict between the beard and her own girliness: “I’m able to go out and shop in the women’s section without feeling I shouldn’t be there. “I wear skirts, dresses and jewelery and I like to get my nails done like every other girl.” Her (adorable) 18-year-old brother is supportive: “She’s happy living her life, does what she wants to do. It’s really good for her. As long as she’s happy, that’s all I really care about.” “This is me. This is who I am. It’s my inner beauty, it’s my outer beauty. It’s my oneness, it’s my wholeness. Just because you post pics of yourself doesn’t mean it’s not still illegal Teen Charged With Child Porn After Posting Unclothed Selfies To Twitter Via Wavy James City County Police say a teenager is facing child pornography charges after allegedly tweeting nude pictures of herself. According to Stephanie Williams-Ortery with the James City County Police Department, officers received an anonymous tip about nude pictures posted on Twitter by the 16-year-old girl. It is unclear how many pictures were involved, but police say they were posted either on or around Jan. 30. Williams-Ortery said photos were also sent to some boys. A school resource officer was notified, and spoke with the teen and her mother. “It’s not just friends that see what they post but also strangers and everyone else out there,” said Williams-Ortery. “You have no idea who’s out there watching. You never know who’s going to see what you post.” The teen’s phone was confiscated for evidence, and she was charged with one count of distribution of child pornography. Williams-Ortery said other teens should be aware that they stand to get in trouble for pictures of this nature too, even if they aren’t the one’s who took the photo. “I would hope that they would not then forward it on to their friends because then they become guilty also of distribution of child pornography, whether they know that or not,” Williams-Ortery said. In Ghana, the fairer skinned people are often placed on a higher pedestal and are in greater demand for dates. Some refer to them as hotcakes because of their lighter skin color. Modern science, namely artificial insemination, is credited with having the ability to breed mixed-raced or half-caste babies without the need to marry or be intimate with a person of another race. In Accra, Ghana, there’s a gallant effort being made to create a new society in Africa referred to as a “Half-Caste World” through artificial insemination which it believes will position Africa for a better future. “Half-caste World is founded to transform Africa into the land of riches and beauty, the land of every man’s dream. We believe life began in African and will end in Africa,” the advocates posted on their Facebook page. This is shameful and ridiculous. Sherri Shepherd Apologizes For Saying All Gays Are Going To Hell Via Rumor Fix reports: Sherri Shepherd came under fire this week after the topic of homosexuality came up during an interview with Fusion. When host Alicia Menendez asked about the biggest misconception people have about her, Shepherd said people think she’s “too judgemental,” further explaining, ”You grow up being a Christian and you grow up believing homosexuality is a sin; you’re going to hell if you’re a homosexual. This is something that they teach in churches. So it’s something that I grew up believing.” And Shepherd said although she “might not agree” with the gay lifestyle, she’s “trying to make it to heaven by the skin of my teeth.” Sherri’s statement obviously came across as homophobic to some. So, the talk show host released an apology on The View Tuesday. “I’m truly sorry to anyone I’ve offended,” Shepherd began. “My interview was misrepresented, and only a portion of my comments were used as a headline to give the impression that I was condemning members of the LGBT community living in their own truth. In the interview, I express I was raised as a child to have a certain set of beliefs, but my beliefs have evolved significantly as my own personal relationship with Christ has increased.” Shepherd continues, “I believe that love is the grace of all things and I have no desire to judge anybody by who they are. I’m a person of compassion and anyone who knows me knows that I love, I accept, I embrace everybody who has love in their hearts.
