People magazine reports that speculation about the stars being an item increased after they were both seen at the same Los Angeles restaurant on Wednesday night. But a source told the magazine: “They are not dating. It was absolute coincidence they were at Giorgio Baldi at the same time. Colin was there at a business dinner and Rihanna was across the room.” The source also dismissed reports that Farrell and Rihanna had been flirting by text after meeting on ‘The Graham Norton Show’. “There’s no truth whatsoever to the reports and rumours that they’re dating,” the source added. “Coincidence” huh? When it comes to Rih-RIh and her extra-cooch-rricular activities there are no coincidences. As a black woman married to a white man, Christelyn Karazin has had her share of people critiquing her relationship , why she’s in it, why she chose him, blah, blah, blah. She’s also done her own introspection over the 12 years they’ve been together, and in retrospect, wouldn’t change a thing. I know that’s it’s just easier for some black folks who are against interracial marriage (mostly it seems it’s directed mostly at black women who do it) to clump all of us couples into one, self-hating batch. But not so fast. I’m with my husband not because I hate myself. In fact, I feel quite the opposite. I married him because I think quite highly of myself, thankyouverymuch. I came to the point in my life that after much dating and striking out, I needed to stop being a mile wide and an inch deep about my choices in men. I had to stop being so shallow about stupid crap like, is he fine? what kind of car does he drive? Can he dance? Does he have a penis like a horse? and really, I mean, REALLY examine what was important to me in a life partner. Qualities that go beyond the level of melanin, like integrity, honesty, a strong sense of family and value of marriage, commitment, love, affection, little-to-no drama, and loyalty led me to my choice. This broad certainly deserves it! Marni Yang was convicted Tuesday for murdering the pregnant girlfriend of former Chicago Bear Shaun Gayle , in what prosecutors alleged was an extremely meticulously planned killing of someone Yang considered a rival for the football player’s affection. The Lake County jury found Yang, 43, guilty of first-degree murder and intentional homicide of an unborn child in the October 2007 shooting of Rhoni Reuter, 42. Yang faces a minimum of 45 years in prison, when she is sentenced later this year. Yang didn’t testify during the trial, however, Gayle testified he met Yang in 2005 and the two had a business relationship that turned sexual. In closing arguments, the prosecutor called the death of Reuter a “carefully planned out execution,” with Reuter’s pregnancy prompting Yang to spend months plotting her murder. The defense countered saying there was no physical evidence connecting Yang to the crime scene. The defense acknowledged Yang knew Gayle but argued that the Pro-Bowler was involved with as many as 18 or 19 women at the time of Reuter’s death. Reuter was seven months pregnant with Gayle’s child at the time of her murder. Gayle and members of Reuter’s family were in attendance when the verdict was returned. Barber, who stopped playing for the Giants after the 2006 season, filed papers Tuesday with the NFL to come out of retirement. “After seeing how much fun (twin brother) Ronde is still having, it reignited my fire and I’m looking forward to the challenge of seeing if I can get back to the level of where I was,” Barber told FOXSports.com. The Giants said in a statement that they would relinquish Barber’s rights as soon as they are able, according to ProFootballTalk.com. “We wish Tiki nothing but the best, and when we are able to make the transaction, we will release him from our reserve/retired list,” the statement read. The NFL is negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement and no roster moves can be made until a deal is in place. Good luck with that one, Tiki. Source
