Wladimir Klitschko’s wedding to Hayden Panettiere has been delayed by the political unrest unfolding in the Ukraine, the Nashville star reveals to Parade. The current fighting and uncertain future of the Eastern European nation has put all of the couple’s plans on the back burner for the foreseeable future. “Everything that’s happening in Ukraine definitely put a hold on things . But we have time,” the actress, 24, said of her marriage to the boxing champ, 38. The actress announced her engagement to the professional boxer back in October 2013, and appeared on the cover of the April/May issue of Brides. One thing’s for sure, though: After breaking up briefly before getting engaged, Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko know they belong together. “It means a lot when you experience life with someone, then you experience life without him and decide that you don’t want to live without him,” Panettiere said. For now, she will enjoy being engaged until the political situation settles. The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 17 continued to tease the ongoing mystery of the past few weeks: What do the Travelers want? This villainous group has somehow imposed its will on our favorite Mystic Falls residents – taking Stefan hostage, forcing Caroline to maybe kill an innocent man in Atlanta – without anyone actually knowing their agenda. Seriously… Liv rambled on to Jeremy about how the witches are trying to protect Elena and the Travelers want her for some reason. But he never asked the reason? He just agreed to help them protect his sister and the town, yet didn’t bother finding out why? It’s difficult to be invested in a storyline when YOU DON’T KNOW THE STORYLINE. Literally, all we know about the Travelers is they’re evil – and that’s only because the show has told us they’re evil. Pretty shoddy writing. So now Markos is here and Elena appears to once again be in danger. And fans need to wait until April 17 for The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 18 to maybe, at long last, find out why. Elsewhere: Elena ended things with Damon for good and headed back to college. Enzo killed Stefan’s nice Doppleganger, Tom, because sweet Caroline could not do so. But she could bond even more with Steven, even falling asleep beside him until the pair was awoken by the Markos-based ceremony. And… that’s about it. Not much happens on this show anymore, and what does happen isn’t explained very clearly. Will you even make it to the end? Nancy Motes, the half-sister of Julia Roberts, was found dead in her apartment yesterday, according to a statement issued by her family. She was 37 years old. Motes was the daughter of the Oscar-winning actress’ mom, Betty Lou, and her stepfather, Michael Motes. Details surrounding Nancy’s death are unclear at this time, but the statement reads: “It is with deep sadness that the family of Nancy Motes … confirms that she was found dead in Los Angeles yesterday of an apparent drug overdose. There is no official report from the Coroner’s office yet. The family is both shocked and devastated.” Last week, of course, Philip Seymour Hoffman also died of an overdose. UPDATE : Lieutenant Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner has released the following statmnt: “Nancy Motes was found dead at a residence in the bathroom yesterday, pronounced dead by the LA Fire Department at 2:12 PM yesterday. Not sure whose residence it was. She was found in a bathtub that had water in it. We’re taking it as a suicide, not a drowning. “She’s being examined today. We are waiting for the doctor to provide his findings. There were prescription and non-prescription drugs found at the scene. Cannot tell you what those drugs were. The role the drugs may or may not have played is not yet known. “The investigator at the scene listed at this point that he is going with suicide and we are waiting for the doctor to finish the examination. We haven’t gotten anything yet.”

Steven R. McQueen may be lapping up the sloppy seconds of Robert Pattinson . The Vampire Diaries star is reportedly dating Dylan Penn, the 22-year daughter of Sean Penn who rose to fame last year when rumored surfaced that she was getting it on with the aforementioned Twilight Saga stud. According to Us Weekly sources, McQueen and Penn attended a charity gala thrown by the latter’s father yesterday, even posing together for a few pictures. Heck, the actor even scooped the model up and carried her out of the event after Dylan said her feet hurt. That’s true love, people! An insider close to the pair says the relationship has been going on for a few months. “They met awhile back, they started dating pretty quickly, lots of attraction there,” the source alleges. “Dylan is a fun chick, whatever she had with Pattinson was very brief, if at all. Steven had met Sean before the event last night. [Sean] loves his daughter, really whatever makes her happy is fine with him.” Dylan’s mother, Robin Wright, just got engaged herself to actor Ben Foster. They then joked about their real-life split, making it seem as if things are awkward on set now that they are no longer dating. And they likely were for a spell, but the funny speech concluded with Ian giving Nina a peck on the cheek and the actress declaring, hey, at least we have chemistry! Ian Somerhalder is asking for a lot this year. The Vampire Diaries hunk turns 35 today, but he doesn’t want an expensive gift. Heck, he doesn’t want a gift of any kind, not for himself at least. He simply wants as many fans as possible to donate to his foundation in the same amount as the number of year he’s been on Earth. “I have a goal this year… we can get 1 million people of the 7 billion on the planet to donate $35 dollars,” Ian writes on the official Ian Somerhalder Foundation site, adding: “I know it sounds simple, but all donations big and small fuel our resources to continue expanding and making change for the voiceless of this planet: our skies, seas, energy, habitats and of course our furry friends. So if you can donate now, two months from now or at my birthday thank you. Or maybe you can donate less than six dollars a month over the next six months. If you can’t donate then you can spread the word about this year’s birthday wish.” Consider it done, Ian.
