Hilariousness: Boosie BadAzz Is Not Taking The News Well That Honey Smacks Have Been Recalled

Source: Johnny Louis / Getty This is absolutely hilarious, in a really heartbreaking way… Boosie Badazz  is in utter disbelief over the recent recall of Honey Smacks cereal. Only a few days after it was announced that the beloved cereal was linked to approximately 73 salmonella outbreaks in over 30 states, the rapper took to social media to demand further proof of this reported blasphemy. Looking truly heartbroken, Boosie speaks to his fans on IG: “I just got home and my kids told me some s**t about Honey Smacks are no longer available. I don’t if this true, but I’m pissed. I need proof…They say it’s full of salmonella, they were sayin’ something—well I’m full of salmonella!” He continues on, pleading for help in this desperate time, saying, “I need proof, man. F**K that. They just can’t take them off the market. I need proof. Somebody DM proof. The scientists, somebody, DM me some proof.” Boosie’s big time love for Honey Smacks has been very well documented over the years, and there are multiple videos posted both by the rapper himself and fans of him doing nothing more than enjoying the cereal. Here’s one from more than two years ago…   It was reported last week that Kellogg’s recalled Honey Smacks boxes with a “best if used by” date range from June 14, 2018 to June 14, 2019. Following that,  the FDA advised consumers to throw away all Honey Smacks cereal regardless of their expiration dates. Boosie is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Diddy Agrees That Drake Took An L in Pusha T Beef [LISTEN]

Source: WENN / WENN If there is someone who knows a thing about Rap beef it is Diddy. The mega mogul thinks the 6 God took a loss in the recent back and forth with G.O.O.D. Music. Brother Love called into  The Breakfast Club earlier this week to promote the new season of The Four . While discussing the music competition show the crew steered the conversation to the much hyped Drake and Pusha T diss records . Love provided his thoughts on the lyrical bout. “It’s a part of hip-hop, man If you’re trying to be the best MC, I mean, there’s gonna be battles. At this juncture in time, it’s kinda safe. When we was having battles, it was getting unsafe. I think that this is the most skillful artist that Drake has come up against and, you know, Drake likes the smoke, he loves the smoke” he theorized. When asked about his decision on the victor he didn’t mince words. “[Drake] took the L.” Puff went on to cosigning Drizzy’s decision of not responding as per James Prince, founder of Rap-A-Lot Records. “I was in that same position with [2Pac’s] Hit ‘Em Up’ and I told Big not to respond, so I can understand because what B.I.G had written for them, it was going to get as bad as it got” he added. Source: SAUL LOEB / Getty Once again, Dictionary.com is providing palm trees and sunglasses for the disturbing things going on in the world. First, their shade came when they responded to a story that resurfaced after three years. Back in 2015, USA Today covered  a Tennessee hardware store owner putting a “No Gays Allowed” sign outside his establishment. He put up his sign in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling that allowed same-sex marriage. His story resurfaced again this week when the Supreme Court ruled that businesses have a right to deny gay people because of religious beliefs. “No Gays Allowed” started trending on Twitter and Dictionary.com slyly responded by defining “homophobia.” Homophobia is defined as unreasoning fear of or antipathy toward homosexuals and homosexuality. Kim Kardashian to Kanye West: Stop Rapping About Our Relationship Problems!

Last week, Kanye West released his eighth studio album to critical acclaim and blockbuster sales. Yes, despite recent controversies surrounding  West’s political views and outlandish tweets, ‘Ye has proven a success by any measure. The album is set to take the top spot on the Billboard 200, and the top seven songs on Apple Music and Spotify are all by Kanye. Of course, as he so often reminds us, Yeezy is his own harshest critic. (He’s also his own most fervent cheerleader, a situation that may help to explain the album’s cover art .) But when it comes to his latest feats of lyricism, Kanye may have some competition in the detractor department, as wife Kim Kardashian is admittedly less than thrilled about some of the lines on ‘Ye . Kim says she was especially displeased by lines in which Kanye rapped about her reaction to his now-infamous claim that ” slavery was a choice ” for several centuries’ worth of black Americans. On the song “Wouldn’t Leave,” West raps: “My wife callin’, screamin’, say, ‘We ’bout to lose it all!’ / Had to calm her down ’cause she couldn’t breathe / Told her she could leave me now, but she wouldn’t leave.” “Did I cry about it? Did I fight about it? Yeah,” Kim told Entertainment Tonight at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York on Monday.  “That’s not stuff we put on social media — I’m not going to start tweeting what my thoughts are, but we have those moments and that was the one song that he didn’t really play for me until the last minute, so I heard that last minute and it meant a lot to me.” Kim proceeded to dial back her criticism, saying: “I really like that song … But yeah, we have different views sometimes, but that’s my husband, you know?” Of course, when most wives sigh “That’s my husband!” they’re talking about the time he used their wedding dress to wax the car, not the time he told the whole world she almost divorced him due to his controversial views on slavery. But even though she’s not thrilled with every line on the album, Kim says she’s a big fan of her husband’s EP: “I’m so happy that it’s been well-received because I’ve seen him go through a lot and he’s just the most genuine person,” she told ET. “He might say things that might get misinterpreted and people don’t see the context behind it, but I always know his heart, so I’m glad that it was really well-received,” she added. As for all those tough-to-defend remarks, Kim says that’s just part of life with Kanye: “I always believe and trust in him that he will always eventually explain himself because I know it’s hard,” she said. “I know what he really means when he says something and I know people will too at some point.” View Slideshow: Kanye West Debuts New Album, Raps About Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal

Verne Troyer is Hopefully in a "Better Place," Mike Myers Says

Over the past few hours, many people who knew Verne Troyer well have reacted to the sad news of his passing. As previously reported, Troyer died on Saturday at the age of 49. The tragic development came mere days after many outlets also reported that Troyer had been hospitalized due to excessive drinking and what many believe had been a suicide attempt. No cause of death had been revealed at the time of this writing. Of all the tributes posted on Troyer’s honor, however, the most noteworthy and heartbreaking comes from Mike Myers. The 54-year old co-starred with Troyer in the Austin Powers franchise, portraying Dr. Evil to Troyer’s Mini-Me. It was the role for which Troyer would forever be best known. “Verne was the consummate professional and a beacon of positivity for those of us who had the honor of working with him,” Myers said in a statement obtained by Entertainment Weekly on Saturday. He added: “It is a sad day, but I hope he is in a better place. He will be greatly missed. Troyer’s major acting break came in 1999 due to the role of Mini-Me in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. He reprised this role in the 2002 sequel, Austin Powers in Goldmember. The actor had reportedly battled alcoholism for years and had checked into rehab on several occasions. Alas, he never received the help he so badly needed. Said Troyer’s family in a statement on Saturday afternoon: “It is with great sadness and incredibly heavy hearts to write that Verne passed away today. Verne was an extremely caring individual. “He wanted to make everyone smile, be happy, and laugh. Anybody in need, he would help to any extent possible.” On April 2, Troyer – who was born with achondroplasia dwarfism and listed at 2’8″ – was rushed to the hospital for a “reported poisoning.” The Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed to People Magazine that they were called to the actor’s North Hollywood home and that Troyer was “extremely upset, drunk and suicidal” at the scene. We expect more to be revealed about his cause of death in the days ahead. For now, a statement on Troyer’s Instagram page concludes as follows: During this recent time of adversity he was baptized while surrounded by his family. The family appreciates that they have this time to grieve privately. Depression and Suicide are very serious issues. You never know what kind of battle someone is going through inside. Be kind to one another. And always know, it’s never too late to reach out to someone for help. Over the past few years, Troyer became known for his appearances in reality television. The troubled actor had stints on Celebrity Juice, Celebrity Wife Swap, and The Surreal Life. May he rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam

Avicii: Read His Ex-Girlfriend’s Moving Tribute

The entertainment world is still reeling from the loss of Avicii. As reported late last week, the beloved DJ was found dead on Friday at the very young age of 28. In the days since, authorities have ruled out criminal suspicious as a cause of death , with local police in Oman (where Avicii was found) saying on record to CNN: “Two postmortems were carried out … and we can confirm that there is no criminal suspicion in the death.” So while we wait for further details to come in regarding what transpired with the musician, we can at least share more tributes to Avicii from those who knew him best. Such as Emily Goldberg. The ex-girlfriend of the DJ, Goldberg dated Avicii for two years and responded to his passing by sharing multiple photos of herself and the late star. She also shared a moving message in his honor. “‘Come on babe, don’t give up on us. Choose me, and I’ll show you love.’ Those are lyrics from a song Tim wrote for me,” Emily wrote to open the caption to the picture below, adding: “I wish I could have lived up to them. “For the two years we were together, he was my closest confidante, and my best friend. Now I can’t look at Bear without knowing I’ll never see his face again.” Avicii’s parents, two sisters and one brother arrived over the weekend in the city of Muscat to repatriate his body this week, according to police in Oman, which is a  popular vacation destination on the Arabian Peninsula. They are “completely devastated,” authorities say. So is Goldberg. She concluded one of her posts by using lyrics from the DJ’s hit “Wake Me Up,” writing: “I’m still collecting my thoughts and thank you for all your kind words and texts. Wake me up when it’s all over, because I don’t want it to be real. #ripavicii #avicii @avicii.” Via her Instagram page, Goldberg also shared what looks to be a screenshot of a text exchange between herself and Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) expressing their love for each other. She captioned the post with a black heart emoji, and added the hashtags “#ripavicii #avicii. Avicii’s death was confirmed on Friday via the following statement: It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman, this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given. Fans then gathered in Stockholm on Saturday to pay tribute to the 28-year-old Swedish superstar. Avicii thrilled club goers with his catchy hits, flashing lights and soulful collaborations. At one point, it would be safe to say he one of the world’s most successful DJs, along with being a major name in the electronic dance music genre known as EDM. However, citing stress and anxiety, Avicii announced two years ago that he needed to take a break from touring. “I was drinking way too much, partying in general way too much,” he said at the time, adding of one side effect: “Then I got a pancreatitis attack [at 21], which is very rare. So that forced me to do a 180 and stop drinking.” It’s unclear right now whether this condition played a role in his death. May Avicii rest in peace. Here is a look at what others have said about him since news of his passing went public: View Slideshow: Avicii Mourned, Remembered on Twitter: Read the Tributes
