June Shannon Weight Loss Spinoff: Who Will It Star?

June Shannon has lost A LOT of weight over the past several months. But she has not lost her desire to make money off reality television. The former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo mother disappeared from the spotlight for many years after TLC canceled the series that made her and her family into D-List stars back in the day. But she popped up again in early 2017 as the anchor of Mama June: From Not to Hot on WEtv. Although, to be fair, “anchor” may be an unfair word to use here. The program centered on how Shannon went from weighing over 400 pounds (i.e. NOT) to weighing under 200 pounds (i.e. HOT). She did so by going on a very strict diet and also by going under the knife on multiple occasions. In April, Shannon showed off her svelte figure on an episode of her new reality show, blowing away ex-husband Sugar Bear and every viewer who had followed Mama June since her days as… well… … as an extremely fat person. We’re not trying to be mean. Shannon was simply overweight and unhealthy by any objective measurement. Over the course of about six months, however, underwent surgeries that includes: – The insertion of a gastric sleeve. – A breast augmentation. – Skin removal on her “turkey neck,” “bat wings,” and stomach, the latter being area where doctors removed about nine pounds of loose skin. Shannon now weighs approximately 160 pounds . It’s a pretty amazing transformation, but it has also created a problem for the star: What does she do now? Having already gone from “Not” to “Hot,” how does Shannon ride this momentum to another season of reality television? Easy, according to OK! Weekly: she brings children Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon into the weight loss picture. “The girls are up for it, because the show will be all about them, and they’ll have their own big paydays,” a source tells the tabloid, adding that filming is already underway on the untitled spinoff. Like their mother, Alana and Lauryn both share an enjoyment of junk food, along with “sketti,” a pasta-covered-in-butter-and-ketchup concoction that became famous back during the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo days. Thankfully, neither young woman will undergo any surgery on this upcoming show. They will instead stick to a healthy diet and be made to exercise on a frequent basis. Is there something creepy and seemingly inappropriate about a TV show that focuses on the unflattering bodies of two children? Yes. But it’s hard to find too much fault helping kids eat well and work out often.  “I don’t want them to end up like I did at 460 pounds,” June has previously said of her daughters’ health. “Who would want that?” And if this series rates well, we really may never stop seeing June Shannon on television. The same tabloid claims a dating show starring the mother of two could be on tap, depending upon the success of this spinoff. “Mama June loves fame, and audiences love her,” says the insider.

Audrey Roloff: Check Out My Baby Bump!

A day after gushing over her husband and her lord and savior , Audrey Roloff took to Instagram and said some very nice things about someone with whom she is yet to interact. But someone she cannot wait to meet: The Little People, Big World star’s unborn baby! The expecting mother shared the above photograph of herself on social media on Thursday night, giving fans a beautiful look at her growing belly. She included with the snapshot and update on her physical and mental well-being as she approaches first-time motherhood. “My second-trimester update is coming to you a little late… as we have been in a crazzzzzyyy season of packing, moving, and buying our first home!” opened Audrey, who is due in September. She continued: “As I write this, I am almost 29 weeks pregnant, so technically I’m in the beginning of my 3rd trimester! Woah. Where does the time go! “For the most part, I’ve had a great and healthy pregnancy so far!” The wife of Jeremy Roloff and daughter-in-law of Little People, Big World stars Matt and Amy Roloff is expecting a girl this fall. Citing her big move and other life events, Audrey went on to give thanks to The Big Man Above. “I wholeheartedly believe that the Lord has been protecting me from a lot of the typical pregnancy pitfalls and discomforts because the rest of my life has offered plenty of that lately… “Moving, buying our first home, lots of doctors apt (for Jeremy AND me), @beating50 my clothing line @shopalwaysmore writing ALWAYS MORE… “Devotionals, blog posts, filming for LPBW, traveling between Bend and Portland, and being 6 months pregnant.” That really is a whole lot. Now that she’s in the home stretch, we hope Audrey takes it a bit easy and catches up on her sleep. She’s sure gonna need it when that little girl is born! Audrey and Jeremy got married in 2014 and announced their pregnancy this past February. They’ve gotten a small taste of what parenthood will be like because Zach and Tori Roloff just welcomed their first child into the world on May 12. It’s a precious little boy named Jackson and Audrey has shared a couple photos of her cradling the newborn. Audrey has kept Instagram followers well apprised of the status of her baby bump over the past few months. She’s always been very open about her life and her thoughts, her relationship and her faith. “The more we love God, the more we will be capable of loving others,” she wrote this week, for example, expounding as follows: “God’s love is infinite and ours is finite… God’s love is unconditional and ours expects a return… And yet, because of His great love for us and within us, we are able love like He loves. “We are able to love without bounds. We are ALWAYS able to love MORE.” It sounds like a certain little girl who is waiting to be born will enter a household this September that is filled with love, respect, religion and very important life lessons. Here’s a a happy, healthy final three months of pregnancy for Audrey and a happy, healthy daughter on the way! View Slideshow: Little People, Big World Cast: Then vs. Now

Race Matters: Peep The Differences In How White And Black People Talk About “White Privilege” [VIDEO]

Does This Video About White Privilege Surprise You? White Privilege is finally becoming something that many white people are aware of and conscious about — at least in this video, filmed by conservative filmmaker Ami Horowitz BUT we think the tactics used here are pretty skewed. For example, interviewing white people outside of a white privilege conference will obviously yield much different results than interviewing a wider range of white folks — especially in less of an academic setting. We’re also perturbed by Horowitz’s decision to question blacks in Harlem outside of a housing project. Why not try an HBCU instead? The other thing that stood out to us is that the white people were asked a different set of questions than the black interviewees. Why would black people be consumed with white privilege? Just sayin’… What are your thoughts about the interview? Getty Images

This Random Dude Has Slept with All These Celebrities

It's time to meet Rob. Average Rob, actually, which is what this random guy goes by on Instagram . On this social media platform, Average Rob describes himself as just a “mediocre dude from Belgium,” but he’s clearly being modest. Why? Because Rob has slept with nearly every A-List celebrity in Hollywood, from famous singers to models to actresses and more. How has he pulled this off? Photoshop, some might say. But we'll let Rob's Instagram pictures speak for themselves… 1. Taylor Swift Rob was able to sleep with Swift on a park bench. We didn’t know she liked it in public! 2. Barack Obama GASP! It’s a good thing this relationship wasn’t exposed while Obama was in office! 3. David Beckham Rob is open to either men or women. And it helps when the men look like Beckham. 4. Eminem AWWW! The rapper cuddled afterward. Sort of. 5. Mila Kunis Silly Mila. It seems just like her to have a bit of fun post-coitus, don’t you agree? 6. Margot Robbie He apparently did it (many) doggie style with this gorgeous actress. Nice! View Slideshow

Ariana Grande Cancels Tour Dates, Issues Statement

For reasons of safety, decorum and mental health, Ariana Grande has canceled a handful of upcoming tour dates. In a statement issued through her publicist, the singer announced on Wednesday that shows scheduled through June 5 will no longer take place. She has not yet made a decision on concert dates beyond that. “Due to the tragic events in Manchester the Dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost,” the pop star’s management team says. The statement continues: “The London O2 shows this week have been cancelled as well as all shows through June 5 in Switzerland. “We ask at this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless act of violence. “Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together. Thank you.” By now, you are likely aware of the tragic circumstances that prompted this statement. On Monday night, a suicide bomber named  Salman Abedi killed 22 people and injured dozens more when he detonated a nail bomb inside Manchester Arena. He did so toward the end of a Grande concert in the venue. British are now investigating a “network” of people and have arrested four suspects in connection with the attack, according to Manchester Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins. A representative of Grande’s confirmed that the young artist was physically fine shortly after the attack took place, but she is understandably shaken up. The star wrote a Tweet in response to the bombing that said she was “broken” inside, simply saying at the time that she was “so sorry” for what transpired and adding that she had no other words to offer. How could she? How can anyone? What is there to say when a terrorist blows up innocent eight-year olds and teenagers ? According to multiple users on Twitter, however, Grande is at least trying to do whatever she can in the wake of this disaster. We have not yet received confirmation, but she’s allegedly offered to pay for the funeral expenses of every victim. On Tuesday, Grande flew back to Florida . She is reportedly holed up with her boyfriend Mac Miller and her family, trying to recover from what happened. “Ariana is inconsolable,” a source tells Us Weekly, adding: “She’s absolutely heartbroken. She can’t believe this happened. She spent the night [of the tragedy] crying with her backup dancers and saying how much she adores her fans.” Echoing this sentiment, a different insider tells People Magazine: “It’s so, so sad. She loves her fans and is absolutely crushed and devastated as you can imagine. She can’t believe this happened. She just wants to be with her family and loved ones right now.” Grande had been scheduled to perform next on Thursday night in London. She has now canceled that show, along with each show through the one slated for Zürich, Switzerland on June 5. The first date on her calendar that has NOT yet been canceled is a concert in Paris on June 7. These musical stops are completely unimportant in comparison to the lives lost in Manchester this week, of course, but we’ll keep fans apprised of Grande’s upcoming schedule as more information is released in the coming days. Just so they can at least plan accordingly. In the meantime, our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone affected by this tragic act.

Lady Gaga’s Best Friend Dies of Cancer

Lady Gaga is in need of your thoughts, prayers and condolences. The singer’s long-time best friend, Sonja Durham, died on Friday after having been diagnosed with stage IV brain cancer. Durham’s husband, Andre, confirmed the sad news yesterday afternoon, saying his wife passed away “peacefully and beautifully” in their home. Durham served for a number of years as Lady Gaga’s assistant and executive director. She played a major role in the singer’s life, both personally and professionally, as their relationship inspired Gaga’s single “Grigio Girls.” This bonus track is featured on the deluxe edition of Joanne, which came out in October of 2016. You should go listen to it if you can. It’s beautiful, with lyrics talking about how Gaga and her friends would get together and share deep cries over Durham. Earlier this year, Durham accompanied Lady Gaga to the Super Bowl for her halftime performance; while Gaga dedicated an acoustic version of “Edge of Glory” to Durham, at Coachella several weeks later. “My friend Sonja is very sick and I love her so much, and if it’s okay with you, I’d like to sing this song for her,” the star told the crowd upon doing so. On Thursday, meanwhile, Gaga posted the above photo on Instagram and wrote the heartfelt message below as a caption. Watching one of my best friends in the world show unfathomable courage, strength, and positivity while battling cancer has really changed my life. Thank you Sonja for inspiring me and all of us everyday with your joy. I love you so much it brings tears to my eyes just to think of all the years we’ve spent together backstage running the show, taking care of each other. You are one of a kind. I’m so proud of you. And you and Andre, your unbreakable beautiful love is what life is all about. You can see it in this photo. Wanted to share this with the world and show them what true beauty looks like. #grigiogirls #sonjadurham @sonjad7777 I love you girl. I love you so much. Lady Gaga, who had previously suffered from breast cancer, referred to Durham as her “guardian angel” in an earlier blog post. Following Sonja’s passing, the hashtah #RIPSonja started to trend on Twitter. Durham had been close friends with Gaga for about eight years. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and in recent months it had spread to her lungs and brain. Of “Grigio Girls,” Gaga told fans in attendance at Coachella in April: ‘We were writing it because we were laying around one night and all the girls had gotten together, but Sonja wasn’t there because sometimes we needed to get together without her, because we didn’t want her to see us cry. “So we formed this pact with each other that, when we needed to, we’d call together the Grigio Girls and cry it out.” May Sonja Durham rest in peace. We send our condolences to her friends, family members and loved ones.

Charlie Murphy: Read His Final, Poignant Tweet

As previously reported, Charlie Murphy has died at the age of 57. Despite the comedian having been diagnosed with Leukemia and having been in the hospital at the time of his passing, the news was still received a shock to those who knew Murphy well. Various sources have confirmed that Murphy kept the dire status of his disease very quiet, even from close family members. But it seems pretty clear that the star was aware his time was inching closer. Consider his final Tweet, written the day before he died: “One to Sleep On: Release the past to rest as deeply as possible.” Fans didn’t give the message much thought at the time, but it’s impossible not to stare at, analyze and grow teary-eyed over the Tweet now In the aftermath of Murphy’s passing, comedians and actors from across Hollywood have expressed their condolences on social media. Eddie Murphy and his relatives have also released a statement that reads as follows: Our hearts are heavy with the loss today of our son, brother, father, uncle and friend Charlie. Charlie filled our family with love and laughter and there won’t be a day that goes by that his presence will not be missed. Thank you for the outpouring of condolences and prayers. We respectfully ask for privacy during this time of great loss for all of us. Tina Fey to White, Female Donald Trump Voters: Look at What You Did!

Tina Fey may very well be the funniest woman on the planet. But the beloved actress was not in a joking mood on Friday night. Speaking at the American Civil Liberties Union’s Stand for Rights benefit in New York City, the former 30 Rock star and current Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt producer couldn’t help but share her thoughts on Donald Trump. Specifically, Fey shared her thoughts on the people who voted for Donald Trump. Even more specifically, she shared her thoughts on one demographic in particular who voted for Donald Trump. “A lot of this election was turned by white, college-educated women who now would maybe like to forget about this election and go back to watching HGTV,” Fey said as part of conversation with New York Civil Liberties Union executive director Donna Lieberman and ACLU deputy legal director Louise Melling. The first part of that statement is a fact, as the number of educated women who cast a vote for Trump over Hillary Clinton really was astounding. These individuals were somehow not turned off by Trump’s philosophy of just grabbing women by their pussy . The second part of that statement, meanwhile, was a pretty harsh slam by someone such as Fey, who clearly picks and chooses her spots when it comes to getting involved in the political fray. Go back to watching HGTV? We love Fixer Upper as much as the next website, but that’s a clear dig at women who just sit at home, do very little during the day and don’t have any real idea of issues affecting most Americans. Addressing this same set of females, Fey added: “I would want to urge them … ‘You can’t look away’ because it doesn’t affect you this minute, but it’s going to affect you eventually. “Again, open two windows. Do watch HGTV, but [don’t] turn our attention away from what is happening.” It’s true: HGTV has some really entertaining television shows . But that really isn’t the point right now. Earlier in the evening, ex-Saturday Night Live head writer took the stage at the fundraising event to speak out about women’s rights and to poke fun at the president and his administration. “Did you know that women still only make one Ghostbusters movie to every two made by men?” she quipped. “And men average Ocean’s Eleven for every Ocean’s Eight that goes to women. That is simply unacceptable.” Just a few days ago, Vice President Mike Pence cast a tiebreaking vote in the Senate on legislation that will make it more difficult for women in rural areas to receive proper care. “Right now it’s not just about fighting for progress,” Fey continued. “Gains we’ve made over the last hundred years are under attack. Luckily, [Vice President] Mike Pence isn’t allowed to go down and shut down Planned Parenthood unless his wife goes with him. “So, you know, if we can just keep Karen busy scrapbooking, we can all still get pap smears.” That’s a pretty good joke. It’s a reference to how the Vice President said his religion bans him from having dinner alone with any woman who isn’t his wife. Sort of makes it hard for him to work with anyone of the opposite gender, doesn’t it? View Slideshow: Tiny Trump: Internet Cuts President Down to Size!
