Farrah Abraham Defends Controversial Photos of Daughter Sophia

Earlier this year, a series of photos of Farrah Abraham’s daughter, Sophia , ignited a firestorm of controversy on social media.  Many fans were shocked to learn that Sophia is trying to make it as a model at the tender age of 7 – with her mother’s encouragement, of course. Obviously, Farrah has never been one to back down from a controversy. She’s continued to post posed, professional photos of her heavily made-up daughter in hopes of attracting the attention of talent agencies. With the kind of blind brazenness she’s become well known for, Abraham made it clear that she won’t allow critics – or the fact that the pics occasionally make no damn sense – to stop her: If you figure out what Farrah’s daughter in a flower crown has to do with a Martin Luther King quote about racial injustice, please drop us a line. Anyway, Farrah took a short break from promoting the new season of Teen Mom: OG (premiering in August) and her upcoming appearance on Million Dollar Matchmaker (tonight) to toss up a word salad about the modeling controversy: “There’s a lot of young children who do modeling, and everyone loves her pictures,” she said. “I think because we’re on Teen Mom: OG , we get bad criticism, but Sophia’s doing amazing in modeling, I couldn’t be more proud of her.” “She’s opening up her own children’s boutique, we’re selling clothing.” Farrah Abraham on Sophia’s Modeling Career “So the more pictures and more she’s in a positive light and happy with what she’s doing, there’s nothing wrong with embracing how awesome Sophia is.”  Not bad criticism! That’s the worst kind! As for the seemingly random pairing of Sophia and MLK, Farrah says there was some logic behind the Instagram post that seemed to baffle thousands: “I’m not showing anything off,” she told People .  “I actually loved the image, I loved the Martin Luther King quote and I love inspiring people.” “I think everyone should can share whatever they wish when their heart is touched and they want to spread more positivity rather than segregation and separation in this world.”  View Slideshow: 35 Dumbest Farrah Abraham Quotes of All Time Eh, sure. If it helped her little girl feel like she was contributing something toward making the world a less frightening place, we suppose it’s fine. Besides, Farrah makes more sense talking about that than when she shares her thoughts on her daughter’s “career”: “I think all of our children are little stars, and if they want to take pictures like everyone does, there’s nothing to judge,” she concluded. “It’s being inspired, it’s being creative, it’s being artsy.” “I’m thankful that she has that drive.”  Yes, Farrah admires her 7-year-old daughter’s “drive.” This situation will really get interesting once Sophia surpasses her intellectually in a couple years. Tomi Lahren Blames Obama for Dallas Shooting: WATCH!

Tomi Lahren, an outspoken anchor on The Blaze, has once again stirred up major controversy with her thoughts on American race relations. Last week, Lahren Tweeted that the Black Lives Matter movement was akin to the KKK, writing the following message on her social media account: In response, over 56,000 people have signed a petition that calls for Lahren to be ousted from her post as a member of Glenn Beck's Web network. That seems unlikely to happen, however, considering Lahren is bringing a great deal of attention to The Blaze. In her “Final Thoughts” on Tuesday, for example, the 23-year old blamed President Obama (who she refers to derisively as “Barry”) and “two black attorney generals” for the country’s growing racial tensions. “Almost eight years in office and two black attorney generals as head of the Justice Department, and where are we today?” Lahren asks in the following video. “We are more divided now than ever before.” Most people would agree with the latter sentence. But not as many people would agree with where Lahren lays blame for it. Lahren went on to give her viewers a history lesson. She states that minority communities have never trusted police… that officers have generally “dealt” with the ensuing distress… and that, at the moment, everything has been “reduced to race.” Touching on the topic of President Obama’s speech after the Dallas shootings , Tomi Lahren denounced the “rush” to blame white officers for escalating tensions. She also questioned the tone of the Black Lives Matter movement. According to the controversial host, the sniper Micah Johnson did NOT just have a “troubled mind,” as President Obama implied – but was inspired by the anti-cops and anti-white rhetoric of Black Lives Matter. Watch her latest take on this hot button subject below. This video has been viewed over 790,000 times as of this writing. We shudder to think about the number of those viewers who agree with Tomi Lahren.

Sorcery Free Zone: Alicia Keys Explains Her New #NoMakeup Approach To Life

Alicia Keys Talks About Giving Up Make Up And No Longer Hiding Alicia Keys has been promoting her new music lately and you may have noticed that she’s completely eschewed the whole beat face honey movement … In this week's #LennyLetter the phenomenal @aliciakeys shares why she's embracing #nomakeup ! Read her essay here: https://t.co/AnFW7EkBsM . — Lenny (@lennyletter) May 31, 2016 This week Alicia wrote about her decision to go makeup free for Lenny Letter . We’ve excerpted a few portions below: Before I started my new album, I wrote a list of all the things that I was sick of. And one was how much women are brainwashed into feeling like we have to be skinny, or sexy, or desirable, or perfect. One of the many things I was tired of was the constant judgment of women. The constant stereotyping through every medium that makes us feel like being a normal size is not normal, and heaven forbid if you’re plus-size. Or the constant message that being sexy means being naked. I realized that during this process, I wrote a lot of songs about masks filled with metaphors about hiding. I needed these songs because I was really feeling those insecurities. I was finally uncovering just how much I censored myself, and it scared me. Who was I anyway? Did I even know HOW to be brutally honest anymore? Who I wanted to be? In one song I wrote, called “When a Girl Can’t Be Herself,” it says, In the morning from the minute that I wake up / What if I don’t want to put on all that makeup / Who says I must conceal what I’m made of / Maybe all this Maybelline is covering my self-esteem No disrespect to Maybelline, the word just worked after the maybe. But the truth is … I was really starting to feel like that — that, as I am, I was not good enough for the world to see. Sounds like Cover Girl dodged a bullet. But barely. Alicia is still giving up makeup after all… Speaking of which. Despite writing the song, Keys didn’t immediately arrive at the decision to give up cosmetics. Initially she had a lot of fears about being caught looking busted . Every time I left the house, I would be worried if I didn’t put on makeup: What if someone wanted a picture?? What if they POSTED it??? These were the insecure, superficial, but honest thoughts I was thinking. And all of it, one way or another, was based too much on what other people thought of me. Keys began practicing meditation, which seemed to help give her some clarity, but her real aha moment came when she had a less than glamorous photoshoot: It wasn’t until I walked into one of my first shoots for my new album recently that the issue was front and center again. I’d just come from the gym, had a scarf under my baseball cap, and the beautiful photographer Paola (never met a Paola I didn’t like) said, “I have to shoot you right now, like this! The music is raw and real, and these photos have to be too!” I was shocked. Instantly, I became a bit nervous and slightly uncomfortable. My face was totally raw. I had on a sweatshirt! As far as I was concerned, this was my quick run-to-the-shoot-so-I-can-get-ready look, not the actual photo-shoot look. So I asked her, “Now?! Like right now? I want to be real, but this might be too real!!” And that was it. She started to shoot me. It was just a plain white background, me and the photographer intimately relating, me and that baseball hat and scarf and a bunch of invisible magic circulating. And I swear it is the strongest, most empowered, most free, and most honestly beautiful that I have ever felt. I felt powerful because my initial intentions realized themselves. My desire to listen to myself, to tear down the walls I built over all those years, to be full of purpose, and to be myself! The universe was listening to those things I’d promised myself, or maybe I was just finally listening to the universe, but however it goes, that’s how this whole #nomakeup thing began. Once the photo I took with Paola came out as the artwork for my new song “In Common,” it was that truth that resonated with others who posted #nomakeup selfies in response to this real and raw me. I hope to God it’s a revolution. ‘Cause I don’t want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing. What do you think about Alicia’s revelations? Will you be adopting the #nomakeup hashtag and lifestyle as well? Cara Delevingne Has Nipples of the Day

Cara Delevingne is overly famous, not deserving of fame according to my expert opinion..ysince I’ve been at this 12 years and no one even knows I exist…you know real fucking authority on the subject…I don’t even think I’ve been interviewed by local radio for my thoughts on a sex tape…maybe I know nothing – seeing as I a ma hack… Well, she’s in a magazine because she’s a model and because Warner Bros and the Suicide Squad team want their people out there promoting their shit…like they are MARGOT ROBBIE….even though it comes out in AUGUST…a big deal for a girl who is only in the scene for being the funny girl at the right party people and celebs started to like…who navigated and leveraged it all….and she’s showing a bit of nipple… She doesn’t excite me, not even her lesbianism. We’ve seen her tits, this isn’t exciting, I am just posting this because I am pathetic… The post Cara Delevingne Has Nipples of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .

Miranda Lambert & Anderson East: Moving in Together??

These celebs just don’t know how to take it slow in relationships, do they? While Gwen Stefani is allegedly pregnant with Blake Shelton’s baby , Miranda Lambert is moving at warp speed with her new beau as well. A source tells E! News that the country songstress and Anderson East are already discussing cohabitation. “Miranda and Anderson are talking about moving in with each other,” claimed the source. “It’s getting pretty serious,” the insider added.  “They want children and have shared their thoughts with each other on that subject.”  Lambert reportedly began dating the blues singer in December. In January, she confirmed that he was her “boyfriend” on Instagram. Earlier this year, a couple overzealous tabloids reported that the relationship was even further along than the shacking up stage. Just a week after she made the relationship official on Instagram, Life & Style reported that Lambert was pregnant with East’s child . But it gets better.  The mag claimed she got knocked up on purpose to seek revenge on her ex Blake Shelton. We all had a chuckle and moved on. Then last month, OK! magazine seemed to believe the couple were planning a wedding to take place later this year. “They’ve been ring shopping!” an insider revealed. “She and Anderson have a crazy-strong connection – an engagement will be coming soon.” Moving in, engaged, having a baby – these two have seen a lot in just five short months. Blac Chyna’s Mom Throws All the Shade at the Kardashians

The mother of Blac Chyna just upped the ante in her daughter’s feud with the Kardashian sisters. And she did it in hilariously unhinged fashion. With the Internet still buzzing over Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian actually being engaged , Tokyo Toni has taken to Instagram to make her thoughts on her impending relatives rather clear. Blac Chyna’s mom shared the following Photoshopped image of Kim Kardashian and company and wrote a rambling message as a caption that can be summarized with just a few bullet points: The siblings have large rear ends. They all had plastic surgery. None of them are invited to her daughter’s wedding. For some reason, after making this post live, Tokyo Toni expressed regret over her Kardashian bashing and said she would not do it again. “I know people look up to me,” she Tweeted, adding that she feels a need to make a “public apology to everyone [she] offended on IG, especially the Kardashians.” Why is she apologizing to these family members? “I just feel it’s being proper,” she wrote. Sure. We guess. But what if they really did threaten to kick Rob out of the family if he married Blac Chyna ? What then?!? View Slideshow: Kardashians React to Rob and Blac Chyna’s Engagement News

Amy Schumer Goes Off on Glamour, "Plus-Size" Label for Women

Amy Schumer may be the funniest woman on the planet. But she sees nothing humorous about how many people on that same planet talk about female bodies. It all started after Schumer shared to Instagram a photo of a special issue of Glamour, one that refers to her in its pages as “plus size.” The comedian and actress explained why she thought this sent a terrible message to her fans. “I think there’s nothing wrong with being plus size. Beautiful healthy women,” Schumer wrote. “Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8. @glamourmag put me in their plus size only issue without asking or letting me know and it doesn’t feel right to me.” Here is why: “Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts? Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous.” In response to Schumer’s comments, a spokesperson for Glamour tried to detail why it meant no offense, writing via statement: “First off, we love Amy, and our readers do too – which is why we featured her on the cover of Glamour last year. “The cover line on this special edition – which is aimed at women size 12 and up – simply says “Women Who Inspire Us,” since we believe her passionate and vocal message of body positivity IS inspiring, as is the message of the many other women, of all sizes, featured. “The edition did not describe her as plus-size. We are sorry if we offended her in any way.” View Slideshow: 14 Reasons Why We Adore Amy Schumer But Schumer, who is happily dating Ben Hanisch , went on to say there’s a much bigger issue at stake here. “Thanks for sharing your thoughts everyone except the people who told me what I ‘should feel’ or what I ‘should have focused on,’ ” she Tweeted after the flap went viral, adding: “Bottom line seems to be we are done with these unnecessary labels which seem to be reserved for women.” It’s true. Ever heard of a “plus-size” man? Other stars who are also against this term include Meghan Trainor, Melissa McCarthy, Ashley Graham and Tyra Banks. It’s pretty much impossible to formulate an argument for it, wouldn’t you say? View Slideshow: What 19 Celebs REALLY Weigh! (Number 11 Will Shock You!)
