Only in Florida . Teacher Fired After Ordering Boys To Attack Classmate Parents expected her to educate and guide their kids and she’s making them fight. What type of isht is that? According to Raw Story: A Florida teacher officially lost her job last week after encouraging six boys to attack a classmate. The seventh grader, identified as Radravious Williams, allegedly threatened teacher Dru Dehart in March 2013. The teacher then told a group of boys to beat up the boy and “teach him a lesson.” The boys, ages 11 to 15, were caught hitting and kicking their classmate on surveillance video. The victim said he told Dehart he “wished he could curse out teachers someday,” and his mother described the attack. “They picked him up, carried him, holding him by the neck, took him down to her classroom and forcibly made him apologize to her,” said Latasha Darrisaw, the boy’s mother. “Her remarks to him were, ‘I’ve got my eighth-grade boys on you; you’re not so tough now.” Dehart was reassigned shortly after the attack, and the St. Lucie County school board fired her Thursday. “It’s like a nightmare,” said the victim’s mother, Latasha Darrisaw, “He’s not the same. He’s had some sleepless nights.” She caused so much pain for that little boy…somebody needs to beat the isht out of her.

Well, here we are. After 9 seasons, hundreds of girlfriends and countless legen – wait for it – dary moments, How I Met Your Mother, is ending its run as one of TV’s most beloved sitcoms. One big question has already been answered (the titular mother to Ted Mosby’s children is played by actress Cristin Milioti ), but several remain. Why, for example, did producers seem to hint so strongly in a recent episode that the Mother (we still don’t know her real name) is diagnosed with a terminal illness shortly after marrying Ted? Would one of the most lighthearted series on TV really go out on such a down note? This being the Internet age, online fan theories abound. They range from ridiculous (Ted has Alzheimer’s, hence his meandering stories and tendency to forget major details about his life) to the wholly plausible (Ted had planned to show his kids his beloved Star Wars saga and launched into his lengthy tale only after his TV broke). Regardless of the details, the finale is sure to feature the signature blend of humor and sentimentality that’s made HIMYM such an enduring hit. More importantly for the CBS suits, however, is the fact that the series-ender is projected to be one of the biggest ratings bonanzas of the season. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore dialed 911 minutes after being whomped on by Porsha Stewart last week, and her voice tells the story. As 911 calls go, it’s pretty tame – no screaming, hysterics or chaos to speak of – but Moore was clearly far from pleased as she phoned in the assault. When one listens to Kenya nonchalantly telling the 911 dispatcher, ” I’ve just been assaulted ,” one can just see her rolling her eyes at the unending drama. She lists her attacker by her maiden name, Porsha Williams. Porsha and Kenya exploded on each other Thursday during the taping of the Bravo show’s reunion. Some believe Porsha may be fired over the fight . We somehow doubt that, as drama equals ratings … but reports from the set indicate that the fight was really bad and way over the line, even for Bravo. The feud between the co-stars has been brewing all season. According to insiders, the rising tension finally culminated in Kenya taunting Porsha with sex toys and slamming her relationship with Kordell Stewart. We can’t wait to watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online and see this go down, but assuming it was Stewart who started it, should she get fired? With all the violence going on in Chicago, it’s nice to hear some good news. Urban Prep School Sends All Graduates To College If only more schools could follow in their footsteps. According to The Huffington Post: All 167 graduating seniors of Chicago’s Urban Prep Academies are college-bound for the fourth consecutive year. Students of the two Chicago public charter high schools — located in the city’s Englewood and University Village neighborhoods — gathered Thursday morning to celebrate the achievement of their schools, which some have dubbed “Hogwarts in the Hood” for their impressive, seemingly magical rates of success, CBS Chicago reports. Still, Urban Prep’s founder and CEO Tim King says, “the only magic going on at Urban Prep is the magic that these guys put in with their hard work and dedication.” Mayor Rahm Emanuel was on hand at the Thursday celebration and said the network’s students were setting a fine example others should follow, the Chicago Defender reports. “I want everyone in this city, I want everyone in this country to look up here,” Emanuel said. According to Fox Chicago, 85 percent of the students at Urban Prep’s campuses come from low-income families and many of the students start at least two grade levels behind where they should be.
