‘Power’ Recap: We’ll Find Out If She’s Really Dead Next Year

Source: Starz / Starz It’s the Power season five finale and tonight’s episode is definitely one for the WTF Books! We pick back up with Angela, her lawyer, and the feds. As we know the feds are hemming Angie up on RICO charges because they think she colluded with James on a variety of crimes. Angie’s lawyer is trying to get immunity but the feds turn that down. The best they can do is disbarment and witness protection. She wants 24 hours to think things through and in that time she’s trying to figure out how to get out of this, of course. via GIPHY Terry Silver pops up again and tries to get a second chance with Tasha. He apologizes for accusing her of lying about Ghost and explains that Ghost threatened to expose their relationship. Tasha eventually decides to keep him close because guess what? He’s actually working with the feds. Basically, he’s trying to protect Tasha and wants to get her to flip on James. Tasha ain’t no fool and while she probably won’t flip on James, she still needs Silver in her corner so she does what she can to keep him in pocket. Tasha, Ghost, Tommy, and Angela all meet up at the latter three’s former high school and Angie breaks down the RICO charges. They all check her for a wire first because you know how feds try to get everyone to flip. Plus, no one trusts each other at this point. They move forward after discovering that she is wire free and explains that the feds are trying to pin Mike Sandoval’s murder among other things on them. The only kinda sorta good news is that if the feds would have all arrested them a long time ago if they had any proof. Moving forward, their plan as a group is to respectively scare anyone in their lives who the feds would try to get to flip. Angela also mentions that she has a plan. Next, we find Dre at home getting it on with his babymama while his daughter is asleep in the next room. They almost get assassinated by Jimenez goons, but Dre and his baby mama don’t play those games. They are freakishly stealthy and manage to take out the assassins first! via GIPHY Relax, the baby is okay. So, baby Dre and her mom go to grandma’s house while Dre heads straight to Angela because he needs that immunity deal and some protection. Angela says she will help him if he implicates Alicia Jimenez in a couple of murders. We all know which murders those are. via GIPHY Later on, Dre makes the silly decision to explain what’s going on with him to one of his goons — the one who was a double agent for Kanan. He also says that he’s not going to say what Angela wants. Instead, plans to turn over Tommy and Ghost. The fact that he’s going to snitch obviously doesn’t sit right so that same double crossing goon tells Tommy what Dre plans to do and then reveals that Kanan stopped Dre executing the hit that Ghost ordered on Jason, which obviously makes Tommy not trust Ghost even more because he didn’t know about plans for killing Jason (who is his connect) in the first place. The goon also mentions that he wants do business with Tommy because he got people and no drugs while Tommy got drugs and no people to move the weight. Plus, Dre is now a common enemy so Tommy is down with making a new plan to clip Dre. Hold that thought. Terry heads to Tasha’s house again and urges her to file for divorce now because indictments are coming down in a few days. If she initiates the divorce now , the feds will offer her immunity to testify against him. Tasha plays dumb, of course. This is a long line of people being encouraged to flip. Saxe tries to get Keisha to get Tommy to flip on Ghost (Keisha plays dumb though). They want Ghost to flip on Tommy. The feds press Councilman Tate too! It’s like when Oprah gave out cars, but with potential immunity deals instead. via GIPHY Proctor tries to get James to flip on Angela. He also mentions to James that Saxe was spotted talking to Terry Silver. Silver can link all of them to Sandoval through Angie. James refuses to burn Angela, and if you think about it, that’s the least he can do for her. Then Proctor tries to get James to tell the feds that Teresi told Tommy that Sandoval was in jail and that Tommy was the one who told Teresi to mirk Sandoval. That version of events leaves Ghost, Proctor and Angela, and makes Silver look like a liar. James isn’t sure he can trust Proctor either and he dang sure doesn’t want to give up Tommy. Proctor once again tries to convince him to let Angela go and it’s just not happening. via GIPHY Maria Suarez, the woman who was blindfolded next to her boyfriend that time James killed him, resurfaces. She’s still traumatized by Ghost’s voice and wanted to pursue testifying but the feds couldn’t use her because voice recognition isn’t enough. Anyway, she’s at a groundbreaking ceremony for the Queens Child Project, where Councilman Tate announces his gubernatorial run and then James gives a speech. James/Ghost’s voice obviously it freaks her out again and leads to another PTSD meltdown. Hold that thought. Speaking of freak outs, James confronts Tasha about not telling him that Terry was back in town and that he’s working with the feds. He demands that stay away from him and of course, Tasha says she will. But we all know… via GIPHY Now we’re with Tommy and Keisha. Keisha does not rock with Tasha anymore for asking her to lie to the feds again, but when Tommy asks her to do it she’s all with it. via GIPHY That’s great for her because Tommy almost slaughtered her. He was literally holding on to a gun (out of her eyeshot), ready to shoot if she didn’t agree to ride with them. Anyway, Keisha doesn’t think flipping on Ghost is a bad idea since Ghost is so selfish and the feds believe Ghost killed Teresi anyway. Later on, Saxe shows up so Tommy tells Keisha to hide. Basically, Saxe tries to get him to flip again on Angela and Ghost before they flip on him and reiterates the story about Ghost killing Teresi. Tommy plays hardball but Saxe plays a recording of Teresi trying to snitch on Ghost instead of Tommy. Tommy falls apart after Saxe leaves and Keisha comforts him. She also figures out the obvious, which is that he killed his father. Tommy confirms her suspicions and reveals that he’s broken because he didn’t believe his dad. Keisha adds that this is another reason they need to get away from Ghost and Tasha. Then Tommy gets that crazy look in his eyes, you know the look, and dashes out. via GIPHY Terry finds Tasha again. He follows her to a parking lot (remember that detail) and we know what he’s trying to do. This time she reveals she knows he’s trying to get her to turn. Silver says working with the feds is the only way he’ll have the credibility enough to save her and that she really should save herself and flip on Ghost because she owes him nothing. Very true, but we all know that Tasha isn’t going to send the father of her children to jail. She asks Terry to find someone else to burn. Proctor, perhaps? Hold that thought though. Tommy works with Angela to set up the Dre ambush. We all know that Dre knows how to get out of these situations alive. So what happens is, Dre goes to a remote location thinking he’s going to meet with Angela and then the shooters pop out. A shootout ensues, and Dre manages to dive out of a window after getting shot in the leg (Tommy had to make it seem like he was actually trying to shoot Dre in front of Dre’s double agent goon buddy), and ends up snatched into an armored truck by Angela’s boy toy. Remember the mysterious US Marshall that shut down the first Jimenez arrest attempt? Him! So, he forces Dre to sign Angela’s agreement, which could potentially make all of this go away. Now we’re at an office hearing where Saxe and Mak find out that the Marshalls have Dre as the witness. Angela’s lawyer and Silver’s lawyers are there, but for some reason, Silver isn’t there. He was supposed to show up. It’s not like him to not show up to things like this. via GIPHY He’ll also still need to appear in court. But anyway, Mak is tired of the goose chase and decides to pack up and leave because he got the job in DC that Angie recommended him for. Saxe tries to convince him to stay. And plans to keep this going balls to the wall, but Mak is out. Everyone’s suspicions are on high so we don’t know what to expect when Tasha shows up to Angela’s apartment. Things take a turn when Angela tells her that convincing Terry not to show up to court was a good plan but then Tasha mentions that Terry showing up was part of the plan and that she thinks that Angie and Ghost kept Terry from appearing because Angela was the only one who knew that Silver was back and therefore she gave Ghost that information. We know how Angie does with the loose lips. Anyway, then Tommy comes in with the burner and asks if she told Ghost about Teresi snitching. Angie is getting nervous because she knows what’s up, but she admits that she did. However, she told Ghost to tell him but we all know that Ghost went straight to Vinny (the Italian boss). Tommy mentions his convo with Saxe. Angie starts copping pleas, because she’s not trying to die, and tells them she can prove she’s not colluding against them. Basically, if they get the photos she took of Teresi’s “secret” meetings with the feds then they’ll see Saxe’s desk in them. The photos would trace back to her, then Tommy because Saxe wouldn’t have any reason to believe that James would go to the Italians with that info. Tasha tells Tommy to stand down and Angie keeps her life. Angie, who is a smart cookie, then mentions that didn’t have Ghost kill Silver and if he did that, then that would have been on his own time. Tasha believes that killing Silver is a very Ghost thing to do. They all do. Tommy visits Vinny and finds out that Ghost did actually give him the photos. Tommy realizes that Ghost played him again. First, Tommy thinks Ghost gave Vinny the pics so he would kill Teresi but Vinny drops the truth bomb. Ghost wanted Tommy to do it. Now Tommy is standing there looking like… via GIPHY Tommy then says one of the truest things we’ve ever heard on this show, “We’re both monsters.” Vinny replies,, “At least it’s over.” But it’s not over yet as per Tommy, who says he has one more thing to do. It’s also not over yet for Angela either because her lawyer informs her that Maria Suarez is back in the ring as a witness. Then Ange’s lawyer confirms that she was right about Terry Silver. He’s missing. via GIPHY Meanwhile, Proctor has more tea for Ghost. He tells him that they have a witness against him and “ She is willing to testify.” Proctor emphasizes that it’s a woman, thinking it’s Angela but it’s actually Suarez. Basically, Proctor is preaching from the Book of Save Yourself again! Finally, Ghost and Angie meet up again at their old high school to talk. He asks her if she’s the witness and she denies it. Angie then asks if he killed Terry Silver and Ghost gets this weird look on his face and we can all assume he’s guilty. Angela is disgusted and says they’re done but then Ghost says he didn’t kill Terry. Angie says she wants to believe him and they get all tender and lovey-dovey. via GIPHY But, we cut back to when Terry and Tasha were in the parking lot. Ghost followed Terry after that conversation and…yeah. He lied. He dropped Terry Silver like a bad habit. Narcissistic psychopath much? In Ghost’s mind, he had to lie to keep Angie and because we all know that Ghost killing Silver was really more out of jealousy than it was survival. However, he can’t tell Angie that because then it means admitting that part of him still loves Tasha. via GIPHY Their tender moment gets interrupted when Angela catches Tommy pointing a gun at Ghost. She moves him out of the way and gets shot in the chest. via GIPHY Ghost lets out an animalistic, anguished scream and Angela slumps into Ghost’s arms gasping for air before things go black. So, is she dead or isn’t she? What does this mean for Tommy and Ghost’s new unrepairable relationship? So sad. Terry definitely shouldn’t have died. The other twisted thing is, while Angela definitely wasn’t innocent or even likable at times, her biggest mistake was messing with Ghost. She has been protecting everyone, including Tommy, the entire time. All this was to cover her own arse, of course, but still… We’ll have to wait a year before we find out what’s next. Wompington. ‘Power’ Recap: We’ll Find Out If She’s Really Dead Next Year

Mac Miller Dies; Rapper and Ex-Boyfriend of Ariana Grande Was 26

Shocking news out of the music world today, as TMZ reported moments ago that Mac Miller has passed away .  The widely-acclaimed hip hop artist, whose real name was Malcolm James McCormick, was just 26 years old. Though details about Miller’s passing are scarce at the moment, TMZ is reporting that the cause of death appears to be a drug overdose. Miller’s body was found at his home in San Fernando Valley after authorities were contacted by a friend of the rapper’s. He was reportedly pronounced dead on the scene. Though a respected figure on the hip hop scene since the release of his 2011 mixtape “Best Day Ever” and 2012 debut album,  Blue Slide Park , Miller is perhaps best known for his personal life. Most notably, his romantic relationship with pop superstar Ariana Grande.  Miller and Grande began dating  in 2016. The relationship was often described as a whirlwind romance, and the engagement rumors that circulated on multiple occasions were tellingly never denied by either party. Miller dedicated his 2016 album The Divine Feminine to his then-girlfriend and stated in the press that Grande taught him to reflect on the important role that women had played in his life and development. Sadly, in May of 2018, Grande and Miller broke up . According to Grande, his substance abuse played a role in her decision to end the relationship. Shortly after the split, Miller was arrested  for a DUI hit and run after he crashed his G-Wagon and fled the scene on foot. He was later apprehended at his home and blew twice the legal limit on a breathalyzer test. When fans blamed Grande for the Miller’s downward spiral, she pushed back on social media. “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be,” she tweeted. “I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years.” Grande added: “Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was.” According to TMZ, he had a hard time moving on. In the months following the breakup and Grande’s subsequent engagement to Pete Davidson , friends were instructed not to mention the situation in Miller’s presence. Miller seems to have struggled with substance abuse his entire life, to the point that premature death was a subject that was often on his mind and one that he addressed frequently in his music. He delved into great detail about his addiction to promethazine and codeine (a combination known as “purple drank”) on his 2014 album Faces . Addressing his substance abuse issues in a 2012 interview, Miller had this to say: “I’d rather be the corny white rapper than the drugged-out mess who can’t even get out of his house.” “Overdosing is just not cool. You don’t go down in history because you overdose. You just die.” A profile of Miller was published by Vulture on Thursday and contained this tragically illuminating quote about the rapper’s mindset in his final days. “A lot of times in my life,” he said, “I’ve put this pressure to hold myself to the standard of whatever I thought I was supposed to be, or how I was supposed to be perceived.” He added: “And it creates pressure.” For his last words, publicly anyway, that line is extremely telling. Mac Miller was scheduled to begin a nationwide tour next month. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam His final Instagram post features a portion of his song “So It Goes,” which features the lyrics: “Nine lives, never, die, f-ck a heaven, I’m still gettin’ high.” Our thoughts go out to Miller’s loved ones during this difficult time.

Mac Miller Update: Family Releases Statement, Awful People Blame Ariana Grande for Rapper’s Death

As previously reported, tragedy has once again struck Hollywood. Around noon on Friday, authorities, responding to a call from an unknown individual, arrived at the San Fernando Valley home of Mac Miller and found the rapper dead . He was 26 years old. As of this writing, the likely cause of death is a drug overdose. The artist had been well known and respected across the music industry ever since his debut album in 2012… but he was perhaps better known of late for his long-term relationship with Ariana Grande. This romance ended in May , with sources saying that Miller’s substance abuse issues played a significant role in Grande deciding it was time to part ways. Just a week later, Miller was arrested for drunk driving . Shortly afterward, in July, he an interview to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 on Apple Music in which he referred to himself as a “self-destructive depressed drug user.” But he also assured fans at this time that he was doing okay and that he was “happy” for Grande, who he dated for two years. Just over a month later, Miller is dead. “Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26,” his family said in a statement provided to multiple outlets. “He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time Elsewhere, Warner Bros. Records added the following: “Mac was a hugely gifted and inspiring artist, with a pioneering spirit and sense of humor that touched everyone he met. “Mac’s death is a devastating loss and cuts short a life and a talent of huge potential, where the possibilities felt limitless.” The Los Angeles Fire Department has confirmed that first responders were dispatched Friday after an 11:42 a.m. call about a medical complaint at a residence in Studio City, California. They did not transport anyone from the scene, making it safe to assume that Miller had passed away before they arrived. “I just wanna go on tour,” Miller Tweeted on Thursday. “The show is going to be special every night. I wish it started tomorrow.” Meanwhile, while music heavyweights mourn Miller’s passing (“Great man. I loved him for real. Im completely broken. God bless him,” Tweeted Chance the Rapper), a handful of terrible trolls out there are blamng Grande for what has transpired. They somehow think the singer is responsible for Miller’s addiction and for driving him to this fatal place due to their split. In the wake of this tragedy and upon seeing what these awful people were writing on her Instagram page, Grande disabled Comments for a period of time. She appears to have now turned them back on. And if she is checking, we sincerely hope she sees that the supporters out there far, far, FAR outweight the misguided haters. “The amount of tweets blaming Ariana Grande for what happened to Mac Miller is disgusting, his addiction and lack of help is what drove this to happen, don’t point the finger and blame,” wrote on fan. And another chimed in as follows: “Just noticed Ariana Grande disabled comments on her Instagram account after a barrage of Mac Miller-related comments. Recognize the true problem here, rather than using someone else as a scapegoat & continuing the cycle. All so sad & nauseating.” Following Mller’s aforementioned crash and DUI arrest, someone on the Internet dared to blame Grande for the rapper’s fate. She wasn’t having it. “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be,” clapped back the singer, adding: “I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming / blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his s— together is a very major problem.” That is oh so true. And also so not the point right now. A young man is dead at the age of 26. It’s a tragedy. This is especially the case when you consider what Miller said in a documentary a few years ago: “I’d rather be the corny white rapper than the drugged-out mess who can’t even get out of his house. Overdosing is just not cool. You don’t go down in history because you overdose. You just die.” May he rest in peace. View Slideshow: 33 Musicians Who Died Too Young

Ariana Grande Pays Moving Tribute to Mac Miller

Ariana Grande has broken her silence in response to her former boyfriend Mac Miller’s shocking death Friday at the age of 26. One day after Miller was found dead inside his home of a suspected overdose, the singer has acknowledged her ex’s passing. Grande and Miller dated for about two years, breaking up in May, just a couple of months before Miller would pass away. According to sources at the time, the rapper’s substance abuse problem was a sigificant reason that Grande was forced to finally end the romance, which had become highly toxic and unhealthy for her. Because lots of people on the Internet are awful, some trolls attacked Grande on Instagram Friday evening because they: Actually blamed Ariana for Miller’s overdose . Wondered why she had not yet commented on his passing. Like we said, lots of people on the Internet are awful. On Saturday afternoon, however, Grande did share the above photo of Miller on her official social media page. She did not include a caption along with it. Within an hour of going live, though, the black, white and simple but profound tribute has garnered over 3.6 million Likes. That says more than any words could. About a week after Miller and Grande split, the former was arrested for drunk driving after he got into a very serious car accident. Grande responded by telling Mac to “Pls take care of yourself,” and she then clapped back hard at anyone who blamed her then as well for Miller’s personal issues. “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be,” she tweeted this spring, adding: “I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years.” “Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was.” Miller was also in Manchester last year when a terrorist killed 22 people at one of Grande’s concerts . These two had been through a lot prior to Mac’s death. The day Grande and Miller broke up , Ariana wrote the following on Instagram: Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet malcolm mccormick. I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us! Ariana continued: Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know and support you forever and i’m so proud of you!! Elsewhere, another of Miller’s ex-girlfriends, Nomi Leasure, has spoken out on his death… and his life. “So grateful we had our final moment. Our clarity, clearing of the air. You changed my life. I, yours. The residual effects of your passion ripple on. You are not gone. Not in the least.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam Leasure and Miller started dating in high school and broke up not long before he moved on wth Grande. Mac Miller Tribute: See What the Rapper’s Mom Just Shared

Mac Miller’s mother has shared a beautiful tribute to her late son. Days after the rapper was shockingly found dead at the age of 26 , due to a suspected drug overdose, Karen Meyers has shared a very simple, albeit very telling and special, picture of her child. You can see it here: In the picture uploaded to Instagram, Meyers and her son (whose real name was Malcolm McCormick) are smiling together at a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. It’s unclear when the snapshot was taken. But it’s evident why this one was used by Karen to pay tribute to the late rapper. As you can see, Miller is leaning his head against his mom’s and making a funny face; she captioned the photo with a broken heart emoji. And she did so not long after Ariana Grande posted a similar tribute to her long-time boyfriend, a couple months after the stars split and about 48 hours after Miller was found dead. This is the photo Grande shared on social media: She did not pen a caption with it. Miller battled substance abuse issues for years prior to his passing. He was frequently open his addiction, just as Grande was open about the fact that Miller’s problems played a significant role in a relationship that eventually became too “toxic” for her to remain a part of. In the wake of Miller’s overdose, a handful of terrible Internet users dared to blame Grande for Miller’s fatal actions . They also wondered why Ariana did not immediately wrote anything online in response to the tragedy. As if it’s any of their business and as if we should ever judge anyone about how they mourn a loved one. On Friday evening, Miller’s family released a statement about the 26-year old’s death. It reads: “Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26. He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. “Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time.” An endless array of musicians have since shared their own thoughts about Miller’s passing, but we’re going to note John Mayer’s message below. The artist only just posted it to Instagram late Saturday night and it stands out for its lengthy and personal nature. This is what Mayer wrote about Miller: This was going to be Mac Miller’s year. He made a quantum leap in his music. That’s incredibly hard to do, to evolve and get better and more focused while your career is already underway. You don’t get there without a lot of work, and Mac had put the work in. I didn’t expect to play on his album the day he played some songs for me at his house, but when I heard “Small Worlds,” I gave it a short, chirpy little “yup,” which is the highest praise I can give a track. It means we don’t need to say another word, it’s going down. I grabbed the nearest guitar in the room and within a couple of hours we had finished a tune that made me so incredibly happy to have a part in, not to mention we established a nice little friendship. He was so funny I just kind of stopped typing “LOL” back in our texts. Mac was, to me, on permanent LOL status. I gave him whatever guidance I thought I had the right to, having been through the press ringer in the past and wanting him to understand that none of that noise could ever really take a bite out of the music he was about to put out. The last time I saw him, he was playing Hotel Cafe’ in Los Angeles for a crowd of 100 people. He was nervous, and honest about it with the audience. I thought that was so endearing, especially seeing as he would go on to play one of the best sets I’d seen in a very long time. His band was unreal. You gotta know that if you weren’t familiar with Mac Miller, you were about to be, whether you would have seen him at a festival, or a friend was going to catch a show and tell everyone they knew about it (like I did.) Mac put in the work. He made his best album and formed the band that was weeks away from becoming a breakout live sensation. Believe me when I say that. I send my love and support to everyone who knew him better, because what relative little I did, I just adored. May Mac Miller rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam

Jen Harley Defends Jersey Shore Meltdown: It Was About My Dead Dog!

DISCLAIMER: We adore pets here at The Hollywood Gossip; and we especially love dogs. So if we take a sarcastic tone while reporting on Jen Harley’s latest Instagram Story post below, or if we straight up mock the occasionally-violent reality star, it’s not because we aren’t sympathetic to the loss of a furry loved one. All that said… … what the heck is Harley talking about here?!? Last Thursday night, MTV aired the much-anticipated confrontation between Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. It took place in Las Vegas; it centered on Ronnie’s irritation over Jen hiding the couple’s daugther from him; and it even involved a producer stepping in front of a camera in order to try and calm Ronnie down. At various points in the dispute, Harley slammed her on-again/off-again boyfriend as a “loser” as a “psychopath” and as a “piece of sh-t.” She also spit on Ronnie. The argument had seemingly been a long time come, considering how viciously Harley and Ronnie had previously attacked each other on social media. But that wasn’t actually the cause of their contention, Harley now says. Her history with Ronnie didn’t play a significant role in this ugly meltdown, Jen explains on Instagram. She actually blames her anger and emotions at the time on the very recent death of her dog. “They edited out the whole side of my story and [they] just showed me flipping out, not me on the phone with the vet crying after finding out my dog was brought in deceased,” Harley said in response to the episode airing. She continue to defend herself as follows: “I was pissed everyone was hiding it from me and ignoring me! anyone who [owns] a dog would feel the same way !! “They made me go there [and] film it for everyone to see they couldn’t tell me any other way and it was f-cked up and they made it something completely different.” A tabloid source did actually say something similar back in June . After reports of this fight went viral, this insider said “Jen was supposed to be taking care of the dogs when he was away filming, and Ronnie came home to their house and found the dog dead in the pool.” YIKES . We can understand why this would cause serious tension between the estranged reality stars. But it’s not as though they hadn’t been going back and forth online long before this tragedy took place.  So… where do Jen and Ronnie stand now? We have absolutely no idea. One second, we read something about their disdain for each other. The next second, as they are above on July Fourth, the two are looking all lovey-dovey on social media. That photo right here, we should note, was snapped AFTER last week’s crazy episode was filmed. As we keep coming back and saying each time the topic of Jen and Ronnie is raised, only one thing really matters in the end: The health and happiness of their young daughter, Ariana. We hope she’s doing okay. View Slideshow: Ronnie Ortiz-Magro: Demanding Paternity Test from Jen Harley?

David Eason: I Need a Gun So They Don’t Force My Straight White Ass Into a Concentration Camp!

It’s been almost seven months since David Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 for hurling bigoted slurs at fans on social media. But Jenelle Evans’ husband has made a point of not backing away from his controversial stances. In fact — because 2018 is nightmarish hellscape in which every idiot with an opinion feels that they need to cram it down your throat on a daily basis until you run screaming for the “block” button — he’s been more outspoken than ever in recent weeks.  You see, David is one of those well-heeled straight, Christian white guys who has somehow convinced himself he’s an oppressed minority. In David’s mind, the whole world is out to get him, and the barbarians are forever at his gates, which is why he needs to be armed to the teeth in order to defend himself. And he’s been expressing that view in increasingly offensive fashion lately with the help of the preferred weapon of internet jackasses everywhere — memes. As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup points out , David posted the above meme earlier this week, and predictably, the reaction from fans has been one of mingled confusion and outrage. “Why gun control? Because armed people will NOT willingly load themselves into railroad boxcars,” reads the caption. So … does David really think he’s at risk of being sent off to a concentration camp? Interestingly, that post comes on the heels of another one in which Eason boasts of his pride in being a straight white redneck. “For the people who get offended when you call them what they identify themselves as… I’m also proud to be a white man, a southerner and a redneck! #pride,” Eason captioned the above image. As far as we can tell, David is the kind of guy who will tell you that he and the rest of the MAGA crowd are tired of winning in one breath, and then argue that he needs an AR-15 to protect himself from his many oppressors in the next. He’s that very modern sort of dipsh-t who will complain about identity politics while proudly affixing himself with labels that he thinks will make his opinions matter more. Clearly, political matters are very much at the forefront of David’s mind these days. But since he and his wife have had CPS called to their house 20 times in the past year, maybe he should focus a bit more energy on getting his own house in order. Dolores O’Riordan Death Ruled "Tragic Accident" by Coroner

We now know why Dolores O’Riordan passed away in January. The former Cranberries lead singer was shockingly found dead in London several months ago, leaving this world at the relatively young age of 46. There were various theories as to what transpired at the time, with many outlets claiming O’Riordan’s death was related to her history of substance abuse. One irresponsible tabloid even alleged she had overdosed on sleeping pills . Now, however, per The BBC, coroner Shirley Radcliffe has completed her report and determined that the artist died due to a “tragic accident.” She drowned in her hotel bathtub after drinking a lot of alcohol. According to this doctor and her findings, there were no signs of injury or self-harm found during the post-mortem examination. The BBC goes on to say that authorities discovered a bottle of champagne and five miniature bottles in O’Riordan’s hotel room, in addition to “containers of prescription drugs with a quantity of tablets in each container.” Moreover, toxicology tests revealed that O’Riordan’s blood contained “therapeutic” amounts of medication but 330mg of alcohol per 100mls of blood. This equates to “four times over the 80mg legal limit for driving.” In simpler terms: the singer was very, very drunk. But the official report does not state she intentionally drowned herself. Following the release of these findings, The Cranberries released a statement that reads: Today we continue to struggle to come to terms with what happened. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Dolores’ children and her family and our thoughts are with them today. Dolores will live on eternally in her music. To see how much of a positive impact she had on people’s lives has been a source of great comfort for us. We’d like to say thank you to all of our fans for the outpouring of messages and their continues support during this very difficult time. O’Riordan joined The Cranberries when she was only 18 years old. She quickly became an integral part of the band both for her voice and also her songwriting. The group, whose top hits include “Linger,” “Dreams,” and “Zombie,” sold over 40 million albums worldwide and had multiple Billboard Top 200 hits throughout the 1990s. O’Riordan released her first solo album in 2003. Six years later, the group got back together and released an acoustic album as recently as 2017. O’Riordan’s death came as a stunning tragedy to her friends and fans. The remaining band members have repeatedly paid tribute to O’Riordan on Twitter, saying shortly after she died: We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores. She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today. Elsewhere, The Cranberries will releasing a new album, which O’Riordan had been working on with them before her death. It will contain previously unreleased material by the band, as well as other bonus material from the era and it will be released in October.  O’Riordan leaves behind three kids – Taylor, Mollie and Dakota – as well as her boyfriend, Olé Koretsky. May she rest in peace. View Slideshow: 32 Musicians Who Died Too Young
