On Saturday afternoon, Prince William and Kate Middleton surprised their many millions of fans by sharing two new photos of their precious new bundle of joy. In the first image, Prince Louis is being cradled and kissed by big sister Charlotte and the resulting image is nearly too cute to handle: Right?!?!?!?!?! Little Louis, of course, came into the world on April 23 . Following months of excitement and even speculation that Middleton was pregnant with twins, the Royal Couple announced on a Monday morning that Charlotte and Prince George now have a brother. “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101 hrs,” read the official Kensington Palace statement at the time. It then added two key pieces of information: “The baby weighs 8 lbs 7 oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.” Louis was born in Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London – where the couple’s other kids were also born – and is dressed in all white for his pair of new photos. In the one below, Louis is on his own, giving social media users their first true and clear glimpse and his angelic face: This second photo was reportedly snapped on April 26, when Louis was just three days old. (And on which Charlotte turned three years old.) In the past, William and Kate waited about a month before dropping similar professional pictures on the world of their children. “Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank members of the public for all of the kind messages they have received following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday,” Kensington Palace announced this week. Back in early June of 2015, Kate and William unveiled this snapshot of George and Charlotte in a similar pose. Seriously, do these two know how to make beautiful babies or what?!? In a brief statement to the media shortly after his second son was born, William said Louis is sleeping about as strongly as one could expect and that his mother was doing pretty “well.” We’re so very glad to hear it. Along other Royal lines, we recently learned that Pippa Middleton is also pregnant ; while Prince Harry will marry Meghan Markle on Saturday, May 19. It is unlikely that we will see Prince Louis in public until his christening, however. Mackenzie McKee has some seriously tragic news for us this weekend. Back in January, as you may recall, the Teen Mom 3 star announced that her mother, Angie Douthit, had been diagnosed with stage four brain and lung cancer . The family started a GoFundMe account to help cover medical costs, and in the description for the fundraiser they explained that she had tumors that “cover almost the entire brain,” and that she had several masses in her lungs. The diagnosis was especially shocking because Angie’s always been very healthy — she never smoked, she didn’t drink, she ran marathons. Mackenzie said at the time that she’d went to the doctor because she thought she had bronchitis. In the months since her diagnosis, Angie has been going strong. She’s been giving some inspirational speeches and spending lots of time with family, judging by Mackenzie’s Instagram post. But now, in another post, we have a new update on how she’s doing. And unfortunately, it’s bad news. “O mom, you are so amazing,” Mackenzie begins her post. “Idk how you are touching lives all around the world of people who have never met you but you are.” “You have such a strong message to share and you are not scared to shout it to the rooftops.” “You don’t deserve this, none of it,” she continues. “So happy, so healthy, and so faithful to God.” “Stage four cancer in your lungs, in your brain, and now in your bones. And not once have you questioned Gods love for you.” Yep, you read that right — now, in addition to the brain cancer and the lung cancer, Angie also has cancer in her bones. Mackenzie goes on to explain that they just got the bad news a few days ago, and that this whole nightmare has been “exhausting and expensive.” So to help with some of the costs, she’s asking her fans to consider purchasing one of her “fitness at home workout programs,” the workout and nutrition guides she sells on her site, Body by Mac To her mother, Mac writes “One thing you wish people would do is to remain healthy and to #alwaysbekind. You helped me with my #bodybymac 3 month program and have always been my number one cheerleader through this all.” And so this weekend, if you buy one of her programs, all that money “will go towards the cost of all travel expenses and medication because you’re so good and telling people to stop complaining, get off their butts, and get active.” “So here is to donating and getting healthy at the same time.” It’s definitely a sweet gesture, and it really seems like Mackenzie is doing everything in her power to help her mother right now. Remember, although we know who she is and although she starred on an MTV show, Teen Mom 3 only got one season before it was canceled, and that was back in 2013. We know that the moms’ salaries get increased every season, and that when the shows started out, they didn’t make too much at all, considering. For reference, Briana DeJesus reportedly made $20,000 for her first season of Teen Mom 2, which isn’t a lot, considering the other moms brought in around $300,000. Add in those three kids of hers , and there’s a good chance that Mackenzie doesn’t have any of her MTV money left, and that she’s trying to capitalize on the fame she has with her workout programs. After all she went through in her marriage to Lamar, after wanting so much to have children but never being able to get pregnant or never finding herself in the right situation to have a baby, she found Tristan. Jill Duggar is generally not one to make waves. The second-eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Jill has spent the majority of her life meeting the demands of her ludicrously strict upbringing. On the reality shows that made her family famous, Jill quickly emerged as a fan favorite, modest enough to appeal to the fundamentalist segment of the Duggars’ fan base, but independent enough to give hope to those who watch in … that she and her sisters will one day break away. When Jill married Derick Dillard in 2014, however, her public image took a turn for the worse. Brash and abrasive where Jill was meek and kind, Derick quickly became a divisive figure amongst Duggar fans. Last year, Derick was fired from Counting On after making comments about fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings that many considered transphobic. Jill quit the show in a gesture of solidarity, thus leaving her young family with no source of income. These days, Jill has a lot of time on her hands, and she often uses it to post on social media, despite the fact that her content frequently disturbs fan. This week Jill posted a list of prayers for her children that many took as evidence of bigotry. The items on the list were mostly innocuous concerns, such as “Their salvation,” “That they would be kept morally pure,” “That they would love each other.” But the last prayer struck a nerve with fans, many of whom considered it further evidence of Jill’s transphobia. The response from Instagram users was swift and harsh, with some accusing Jill of rank hypocrisy: “But it’s ok to be a homophobic, cheating molester who is literally making money from having their family on a reality show,” wrote one fan. The comments seem to refer to both Josh Duggar – who molested five young girls while living under his parents’ roof – and Derick Dillard, whose homophobia has been well-documented over the years. Now, Jill is criticized on social media quite regularly, with followers taking issue with everything from her parenting to her wardrobe. But this time is different in that Jill actually replied: “I have never said those actions were ok.” That may seem like a very mild response, but as many have pointed out, it constitutes the first time that Jill has expressed any misgivings about the behavior or beliefs of her brother and husband. Perhaps this is the beginning of a new day for Jill. Maybe she’ll finally join the rest of the world in calling out the male members of her family for their more problematic actions. What seems more likely, however, is that Jill has simply grown tired of being lumped in with men like Derick and Josh. Some feel that she’s complicit with their behavior, while others see Jill as a victim. Whatever the case, she’s clearly fed up with being associated with the more shameful aspects of her family history.
