It’s a bit of country style mixed with a bit of riskiness that’s still wearable in New York City. We made our collection all black because it’s timeless. That’s what we strived to create: timeless pieces. Even the chaps and sheer dresses that may seem a bit revealing are able to be paired with more conservative pieces and still come across as elevated. Source: Axelle/Bauer-Griffin / Getty Will Smith isn’t just a box office breaking movie star and unintentional life coach — apparently, he’s also the dance instructor we all need in our lives. The Fresh Prince and his prince, Jaden Smith , had dinner with Reggaeton star Nicky Jam over the weekend and got jiggy to the star’s hit single “X”. Low key, Will has been giving us cool dance moves as long as h’s been giving us good vibes. Just last month, he crossed off “getting salsa lessons from Marc Anthony ” off his dance list. But this ain’t nothing new for Big Willie. Remember this epic moment from season one of Fresh Prince? Or how about the time him and Jimmy Fallon schooled us all on the evolution of hip hop dancing: Let’s just say that when it comes to living life, Will Smith could teach all of us a thing or two. Check out more classic moves from Big Willie when you hit the flip.
Over the past few hours, many people who knew Verne Troyer well have reacted to the sad news of his passing. As previously reported, Troyer died on Saturday at the age of 49. The tragic development came mere days after many outlets also reported that Troyer had been hospitalized due to excessive drinking and what many believe had been a suicide attempt. No cause of death had been revealed at the time of this writing. Of all the tributes posted on Troyer’s honor, however, the most noteworthy and heartbreaking comes from Mike Myers. The 54-year old co-starred with Troyer in the Austin Powers franchise, portraying Dr. Evil to Troyer’s Mini-Me. It was the role for which Troyer would forever be best known. “Verne was the consummate professional and a beacon of positivity for those of us who had the honor of working with him,” Myers said in a statement obtained by Entertainment Weekly on Saturday. He added: “It is a sad day, but I hope he is in a better place. He will be greatly missed. Troyer’s major acting break came in 1999 due to the role of Mini-Me in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. He reprised this role in the 2002 sequel, Austin Powers in Goldmember. The actor had reportedly battled alcoholism for years and had checked into rehab on several occasions. Alas, he never received the help he so badly needed. Said Troyer’s family in a statement on Saturday afternoon: “It is with great sadness and incredibly heavy hearts to write that Verne passed away today. Verne was an extremely caring individual. “He wanted to make everyone smile, be happy, and laugh. Anybody in need, he would help to any extent possible.” On April 2, Troyer – who was born with achondroplasia dwarfism and listed at 2’8″ – was rushed to the hospital for a “reported poisoning.” The Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed to People Magazine that they were called to the actor’s North Hollywood home and that Troyer was “extremely upset, drunk and suicidal” at the scene. We expect more to be revealed about his cause of death in the days ahead. For now, a statement on Troyer’s Instagram page concludes as follows: During this recent time of adversity he was baptized while surrounded by his family. The family appreciates that they have this time to grieve privately. Depression and Suicide are very serious issues. You never know what kind of battle someone is going through inside. Be kind to one another. And always know, it’s never too late to reach out to someone for help. Over the past few years, Troyer became known for his appearances in reality television. The troubled actor had stints on Celebrity Juice, Celebrity Wife Swap, and The Surreal Life. May he rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam
Source: Getty As you get older, you realize how valuable time is—chances are you’ll miss some of the moments in time you complained about most, but you can never get them back. By the time you’re wiser and more appreciative, it’ll be too late and all you’ll be able to do at that point is think back and say to yourself “Remember when…” With that said, we weren’t surprised when the hashtag #OldThingsIWantBack got super intense on Twitter: My innocence #OldThingsIWantBack — Sarah Fama (@poshpetcarenj) April 19, 2018 That’s real. Source: Cole Burston / Getty People are continuing to be inspired by Drake ‘s “Nice For What” release and this time the art world is taking notice. Painter Richard Wilson caught a look at the music video and one image in particular inspired him to paint a whole wall. The image he saw turned out to be Yara Shahidi and the ironic thing is, Richard didn’t even know who she was before he painted the London mural. He had to ask folks on the gram about this woman who served as his muse. “Since then I find out she’s an amazing role model for young women in particular and has a huge following,” he said in an Instagram post. “It’s really cool cos this wall is pretty random, the path it’s on is used by parents taking their kids to school, cyclists, some alcoholics and dog walkers. Definitely not a place i’d have painted Yara if I knew. Excuse my ignorance not knowing who she was, but i learnt a lesson that you don’t always need to go big, it’s been a fixation for me lately tbh to find BIG walls only, but maybe the content is the key, just like everything always.” Despite Richard not knowing who Yara was, she definitely approved the painting. She reposted it on her page and now it’s been liked by thousands of people. Seems like all is well that ends well. You can check out the finished painting below, along with Richard’s touching words on the future generation!
