If you’ve ever been to her Instagram page (and who hasn’t?) you know that Kylie Jenner and Photoshop are two great tastes that taste great together. At this point, it doesn’t even seem like Kylie is shy about the fact that her pics are frequently retouched. And why should there be any shame in her game? Kylizzle is the world’s youngest self-made billionaire (although many have taken issue with the “self-made” part of that achievement). And hey, when your every selfie goes out to an audience of 132 million (the size of Kylie’s Instagram following), it’s natural to seek out every advantage. And in many cases, it’s not Kylie or her social media manager who does the retouching. Oftentimes, it’s an overly-ambitious photo editor from a lesser-known publication. Take Kylie’s latest photo spread, for example. It’s for the Spanish-language fashion mag S. Moda , and many fans feel there’s something seriously off about Kylie’s pics. “OMG! Stop editing, you phony,” one Instagram user commented on Kylie’sm pics. “Wow, this is SO airbrushed,” another remarked. And what were the specific issues that led to these comments? Well, they varied from person to person, but two complaints seemed to be the most prevalent. Some followers took issue with Kylie’s skin tone (“She is not mexican like us STOP TRYing to tan her!” wrote one user). While others had a problem with the shape of her hand. Yes, her hand, Kylie is almost as famous for her long fingers as she is for her pouty lips. (We’re sure there are whole social media accounts devoted to creepy obsession with Kylie’s fingers, but we are not about to seek those pages out.) But apparently, a lot of folks are convinced that Kylie’s fingers are long … but not this long. It’s anyone’s guess as to why a photo editor would elongate Kylie’s fingers for effect, but a lot of people are convinced that’s exactly what happened. Fortunately, most of the commenters were eager to sing Kylie’s praises. “You’re so beautiful,” one person commented. “This is so, so, so stunning,” another remarked. “Amazing!” a third wrote. The stars of Teen Mom love to complain about MTV, and about how they chose to edit their footage of them. They've been doing it for years, and it doesn't look like they'll be stopping anytime soon. Sometimes the complaints can be valid, like when the cast claims that conversations have been spliced together to make things more dramatic. But like when Jenelle gets mad that producers make her look bad when it's really just that she makes herself look bad? That's a little silly. And Leah Messer's latest complaint, if you can believe it, may be one of the silliest we've heard yet. 1. Jesus God Leah So, OK, let’s be honest … Leah hasn’t been looking so great in recent episodes of Teen Mom 2. 2. Oh Gross This is for a few reasons, but most of them have to do with her boyfriend at the time of filming, Jason Jordan. 3. No Thanks See, a lot of people don’t really care for Jason, or at least they don’t care for his relationship with Leah. 4. Uh Oh It’s just that things moved so fast between them — more on that in a bit — but the thing is that Leah obviously saw an issue with her relationship, since she’s broken up with him twice now. 5. Oh The most recent breakup happened because she said that the relationship was “toxic,” so that’s not great. 6. Slow Down But we’re getting head of ourselves. Vinny Guadagnino rose to fame because he had a penchant for fist-pumping. But the Jersey Shore star confesses in a new interview that he’s also done a lot of thrust-pumping over the years. The veteran MTV personality made an appearance this week on WFAN’s Boomer and Gio radio show, telling hosts Boomer Esiason and Gregg Giannotti that his reality show fame really helped him land women. As in, it helped him look attractive to women. As in, Vinny went to bed with a f-ck ton of women. How many does Guadagnino think he’s been with in the biblical sense since Jersey Shore premiered in 2009? More than 100, the hosts asked? Yes, he said. More than 500, they followed up by asking? “Probably,” he replied, elaborating a bit as follows: “I don’t know, I really have no idea. I feel disgusting right now. It’s been 10 years, I’ve had a good time.” Hey, man, assuming all these interactions were consensual, more power to you. Keep doing you, along with many sexual partners, Vinny. No reason to feel any shame here. Besides, it’s not as if your number is in the triple digits, right? Oh… wait. It might be? The hosts proceeded to ask Vinny if he had smushed over 1,000 members of the opposite gender, to which he replied: “I don’t know … it could be.” Considering the time table being discussed here was just over the last decade, this figure really is rather astonishing. If Vinny Guadagnino has slept with 1,000 women over the past 10 years, that would equate to an average of 100 women per year, which works out to about 9 women per month, which would mathmatically mean over one two per week. Which is just… wow, man. WOW . “You’ve got to understand, I’ve done these club appearances when I was on the show,” Vinny explained, getting defensive and adding: “So like three nights a week you’re in a different city, traveling around the country, things happen. But I’ve slowed down a lot. Like now, I’m going back to my room, I wanna watch Netflix, I wanna just chill. “I don’t wanna be in bed with somebody if I don’t wanna wake up to them the next day and talk to them.” Sounds like Vinny has come a long way since coming very often alongside… nevermind. Vinny stars these days on Double Shot at Love, residing with Pauly DelVecchio and 20 women, as the friends and co-stars narrow down their suitors and try to settle on a mate. Guadagnino isn’t alone in having matured a great deal since the early days of Jersey Shore. The Situation is married. Snooki has two kids. JWOWW has two kids. Heck, even Ronnie has a child. And that may be the most impressive thing overall about Guadagnino’s admission here? Dude has slept with 1,000 women in 10 years and has never fathered a boy or girl? The actress, known for her iconic role as Pam on “Martin and having a career that has spanned more than three decades, is back on network television playing Tina Butler on the CBS hit comedy, “The Neighborhood.” Acting alongside the beloved Cedric the Entertainer , their freshman sitcom centers on how one African-American family adjusts to a white Midwestern family moving into their predominantly Black Los Angeles neighborhood. The season finale, which airs on April 22, tackles white privilege head-on by using humor to interrogate how Black and white folks get treated in certain spaces i.e a nearby snooty country club. Not surprisingly, Arnold is absolutely hilarious in it and the episode provides us with a much-needed lesson on motherhood, white privilege and the power of friendship. HelloBeautiful sat down with the seasoned actress to talk about the comedy’s finale, the importance of tackling issues of race through laughter and how blessed she feels to be working in the industry that she loves. HelloBeautiful: So, the first season of “The Neighborhood” wraps tonight! How are you feeling? Tichina Arnold: Oh, it feels great. It’s been such an amazing experience to be on this show and tonight’s episode is something special. HB: The season finale focuses on white privilege, which we know can be a heavy topic. Why is engaging in these conversations about race and gentrification with laughter important to you? TA: The show’s concept is loosely based on the life of the show’s creator Jim Reynolds. He was the new white neighbor and knows first-hand what these conversations and experiences look like, so what a better way to teach people and broaden people’s horizons and thinking through laughter? Laughter is great for the soul, it can help usher in life lessons and teach us how to get along and accept each other’s differences. HB: Did the topics from the season finale, especially around white privilege, spark any interesting conversations among the cast? TA: You know, the cast talks about this topic all the time. We’re pretty open and speak about it amongst ourselves, especially at the table reads, which is important. But the key for me is not take yourself too seriously [with the material] because that would make “The Neighborhood” a different show. But we definitely want to ask these tough questions and don’t shy away from them. We also want to know what our viewers think. We love to hear your opinions! HB: Did the topics the show addresses attract you to the role? TA: Most definitely! The idea of gentrification is real to a lot of people, including my own family, my parents. We lived in different neighborhoods that were gentrified by different cultures and it’s a huge change that a lot of people don’t initially accept. They worry about what it’s going to do, will it be good and how will these changes impact them. HB: And rightfully so… TA: Definitely. During the season, we see that Calvin was pretty resistant to that change and with good reason some of the time. [Laughs] But I also kind of see him like Archie Bunker—ignorant to certain things, things he’s never experienced. So it’s a journey for him, but also a means for him to teach others too. In one episode, he explains to Dave [played by Max Greenfield] how his family lived in that neighborhood for a very long time and when the white people moved in and then left, the town went down and the Black residents worked hard to keep it together. Now, that the white people are back, the area got better. There’s a frustration there and these are important points that need to be heard. HB: Speaking of Cedric, you two have such amazing chemistry on the show! TA: It’s been crazy…I’ve known Cedric for a very long time and he’s one of my favorite celebrity friends that I’ve never worked with all these years! So I was pretty excited about being cast with him on the show. It’s all love between us. And having a genuine love and respect with someone right there is a winning combination. You just can’t lose. Source: CBS / CBS HB: For your character Tina, what do you love about playing her? TA: Tina is so open and wants to learn more and that’s magic. I also love the relationship between Tina and Gemma [played by Beth Behrs ]. It’s not often that we see a white woman and a Black woman be friends [as equals] and have this organic relationship. We’ve gotten such a great response to them and it’s refreshing to see people from totally different ethnic backgrounds getting along and having fun with one another. HB: I recently saw that you have Beth have also become good friends in real-life too. TA: Our friendship has truly impacted my life. We have so much fun together and we are not afraid to ask each other questions. If there is something in the script [about white people] I just do not understand, I will ask her, “Beth, what is this? What is froyo?” [Laughs] And she’ll tell me it means “frozen yogurt.” And I’m like, “Oh, that’s a white girl thing.” We just laugh. But she is so kind-hearted and loud and she can even twerk. HB: The two of you are the queens of physical comedy on the show with Beth recently telling PEOPLE that she looks at y’all as Lucy and Ethel from “I Love Lucy.” TA: Ha! I’d say we are more Laverne and Shirley. But we LOVE physical comedy and to be able to do that on this show is incredible. We both were class clowns as little kids and Beth is so fearless. So to be able to act with someone who is the same way as you is amazing. And I can get wild. Like they will tell me on set, “Tichina relax, calm down!” But I can’t help it. Pay her like you owe her for all the time that you hoe’d her. According to NYDailyNews Karimah Guion-Pledgure will be awarded a $100,000 settlement from her employer, Multnomah County, after she sued their a$$es for creating a racially hostile and insensitive environment just to appease some anti-Black cop lovers. Back in September of 2017, a probation officer who works in her office put up a big “Blue Lives Matter” flag on the wall. Karimah complained because obviously the flag is meant to mock, demean, insult, and otherwise diminish the “Black Lives Matter” mantra that aims to hold police accountable for all the Black people they often eagerly kill. Karimah says she was harassed as her co-workers argued that there was nothing derogatory about the flag. In response, since the supervisors would not force the man to take the flag down, Karimah put up photos of all the Black people who have died unfairly at the hands of police officers. A co-worker immediately complained but Karimah refused to remove the photos since the white man was not made to take his flag down. When the sign policy was changed to require smaller signage, the “blue lives matter” folks all brought smaller flags, and then left signs on Karimah’s “equity wall” that read “thanks a lot” and “bi*ch”. Real classy. After going on leave for weeks, Karimah decided to file a $420,000 lawsuit and eventually settled for $100,000 this week. Oregon Live reports that no signs at allowed at all in the office now. Karimah won AND got paid to leave. Nothing like the smell of white tears in the morning.
This week, 90 Day Fiance star Ashley Martson took to Instagram to reveal something startling … but not very surprising. Jay Smith cheated on her … again . This time, she plans to file for divorce and not look back. But fans are wondering if this cheating drama is another “lie” like she’s told in the past. And Ashley’s answer … is a stunning admission. Some 90 Day Fiance stars are happy to answer fan questions. Just recently, Ashley’s Happily Ever After? castmate Nicole Nafziger spilled on her sex life and more. Sometimes, however, questions from “fans” can be downright nasty and confrontational. “Why do you lie?” demanded one of Ashley’s followers on Instagram. Instead of ignoring the obvious hate, Ashley replied — with some major sass. So … why does Ashley Martson allegedly lie? “Because I get paid to!” Ashley replies. “Ya’ll are out here doing it for free,” she very correctly points out. Part of her job is to deceive fans and viewers. To repurpose an old sexist saying: Why tune in to the cow’s reality show if you’re getting the milk on Instagram for free? “Either I tell the truth,” Ashley posits. “And I’m a horrible person for spoiling the show.” And in breach of contract. “Or,” she continues. “I lie so you have some sort of surprise when the show airs.” Ashley laments that, ultimately, someone will always be pissed at her. “It’s a no-win scenario,” she explains. Some drama simply cannot be hidden for long, however. On Monday, April 15, Ashley revealed to her followers that Jay had cheated on her. Considering that he had downloaded Tinder and was video chatting with a girl and mkaing plans to meet up just days after their wedding … not a shocker. But that doesn’t mean that Ashley deserved to be cheated on. This time, she plans to divorce him. There’s a real chance that Jay could end up back in Jamaica. But this time, there’s a twist. See, when Jay cheated on Ashley ater their wedding, he never actually got the chance to lay any extramarital pipe. That was only because he got caught — he doesn’t get any points for that. But this time, it looks like his cheating was extremely physical. And either he was doing a lot of cheating, or the odds were stacked, because the unconfirmed report is that Jay knocked up his side piece. A woman claiming to be Jay’s mistress is allegedly due with their child this fall, possibly in October. Keep in mind, of course, that anyone can claim anything on social media, especially if they want attention. Plenty of people have watched 90 Day Fiance and fantasized about getting pregnant with Jay’s baby. In fact, right now, we cannot even confirm with absolute certainty that Jay cheated. (Even a full on sex tape isn’t always good enough; what we really need is for Jay to come right out and says: “I cheated! Whoops!”) All that we know right now is that Ashley has accused Jay of cheating in a very public manner. Considering that Ashley has admitted to lying for the show, can even that be trusted? Tannae says she met K. in the parking lot of an Atlanta IKEA where she was with her triplet daughters. The singer went ga-ga over the identical baby girls and kept in touch with Tannae. Eventually, the 21-year-old mom agreed to be a surrogate for the star and she’s currently pregnant with twins. She says K. chose her because twins run in the young lady’s family. In the video, the mom and her boyfriend didn’t get into detail about how they went about getting pregnant for K. Michelle’s babies, but maybe she will in the future? Abby Lee Miller has long been known as a bully. The polarizing Dance Moms host has yelled and screamed and tormented her way to fame over the years, verbally attacking an endless array of students on this long-running reality show. But reality star reveals a much softer side below, one with which even the most vocal critic would have a hard time finding fault. As you very likely know by now, Miller has been dealing with ongoing health issues for the past year or so. She was diagnosed with cancer in April of 2018 and underwent multiple surgeries and bouts of chemotherapty in the subsequent months. Even now, yes, Miller is on the mend and on her way back to Dance Moms — but she’s confined to a wheelchair. She has a very long and arduous journey in front of her and she may never walk again . But Miller is trying to remain strong and candid, as evidenced by her latest Instagram photo and message. In a revealing picture of herself, the dance instructor’s bare back is on display as she peers over her shoulder into the camera lens. “One year ago today — I underwent emergency surgery for an infection in my spine. This mass/tumor choking my spinal cord turned out to be Burkitt Lymphoma,” Miller says to open a lengthy and emotional caption. She continues: “I endured ten rounds of chemo therapy (each lasting 6 days with 4/ 24hr bags pumping poison into my body ending with a spinal tap in 3 spots, plus another shot of Chemo into my tailbone area up the spinal cord around my brain cavity) “Ten times! Another spine surgery was needed & I have one more still to go.” This sounds awful enough on its own, but it doesn’t even cover all that has transpired for Miller since her original diagnosis. “I struggled thru months of physical therapy to learn to sit up again, to crawl and maybe with a miracle someday I’ll walk. Why didn’t the ER Doctors on duty do their jobs? I came in twice with the same symptoms? Why didn’t somebody listen to me, the patient?” she asks in this post. She’s clearly frustrated and maybe a little bitter. But it’s pretty hard to blame Miller for feeling this way. The reality star concludes her message with a touch of gratitude and also with a pretty major call-out: I finally found the right team that’s why I lived to tell my story, I have a lot to say! Thank you to all wonderful top notch professionals who continue to help me heal. For those who missed it, misdiagnosed me, and the so called Federal “Doctor” who took me off medication cold turkey and the other ER “Doctor Hollywood” who told me to go home and take it easy for 10 days – STOP practicing! Please. Yikes, huh? Miller does not reveal the identities of these doctors, at least not in this caption. Perhaps she’ll say more down the line, however, especially as we inch closer to the Dance Moms Season 8 premiere in June. After years of not speaking to radio personality Charlamagne, who she gave his big break in New York City radio, they are patching up their relationship. “The Breakfast Club” host called her last night, according to Wendy on her talkshow this morning.
