Our experts Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise share their opinions, sprinkle in some facts and then when it’s all over and done with, provide a rating of 1 to 10. We listen to the songs, watch the movies, scour the internet, and do the hard work so you don’t have to. Without further adieu, let’s jump into this week’s episode. This week we’re talking about the Netflix original film, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle . The film is about a human child named Mowgli who is raised by a wolf pack in the jungles of India after his family is killed. As he learns the often harsh rules of the jungle, under the tutelage of a bear named Baloo and a panther named Bagheera, Mowgli becomes accepted by the animals of the jungle as one of their own, but the fearsome tiger Shere Khan do esn’t take a liking to him. But there may be greater dangers lurking in the jungle, as Mowgli comes face to face with his human origins and has to make the great decision whether he is human or wolf. Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle hit Netflix in December 2018 and is a new take on the infamous Jungle Book stories. Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise got the opportunity to check it out and weighed in on the film. They also discussed The Lox’s Rockwilder-produced “Never Over” track, which dropped back in November 2018. The Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch single sort of flew under the radar for anyone who isn’t a devout D-Block loyalist but you know our resident critics DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius couldn’t let the song slip by without discussing it. On Tuesday, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club premiered on MTV, reminding the world that Lindsay Lohan is still out there and still trying to rebuild her decimated career. Lindsay would likely be the first to admit that she’s made quite a few mistakes over the years. But she insists that sleeping with Vanderpump Rules Jax Taylor is not one of those regrettable decisions. For over a decade, Taylor has been claiming that he hooked up with Lohan after partying with her at a club in LA. It’s not the most gentlemanly move, and to make matters worse, Jax has repeatedly told the world that Lindsay is really bad in bed . The story has long been a staple of early-2000s gross hook-up lore. But what’s often glossed over is the fact that Lindsay insists the hook up never happened. LiLo appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live Wednesday night, and she once again doubled down on her claim that not only has she never slept with Jax, she’s never even met him. Lindsay Lohan: I Never Slept With Jax Taylor! During the show’s infamous Plead the Fifth segment, Lisa Vanderpump asked Lindsay for a review of Jax’s performance in the sack. (Lisa’s not your average employer, folks.) “I’ve never even met him. I never met him. Really,” Lohan insisted. “Maybe he met Hallie or Annie,” she added, in a weird reference to her Parent Trap characters. The famously short-tempered Jax is not one for just laughing off criticism, so it was no surprise when he took to Twitter to refute Lindsay’s claim. “Not that I care, it was over 10 years ago and I am happily engaged, but she’s a liar,” he tweeted on Thursday, along with a screenshot of a text message from his friend who was allegedly with him on that fateful night. “My two friends who have nothing to gain were with me the whole night. That’s all I will say on this. So you are lying, darlin’.” Jax recently got engaged to Brittany Cartwright , and he’ll turn 40 freakin’ years old this year, so it’s a little strange that he’s carping about his past hookups on Twitter. But hey, at least he acknowledged how weird it is that he’s delving into this. Although come to think of it, the fact that he knows he just shut up actually makes the whole situation even weirder. As for who we believe, Jax and Lindsay are both known BS artists, so this will probably remain one of the great mysteries of our time for the foreseeable future. Late last year, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland revealed her second kidney transplant and shared that she had been experiencing suicidal ideation. Now, speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, she is elaborating on that experience. Sarah even explains how she fought back against the overpowering desire to end her own life. As we have reported, Sarah Hyland's health battle is more like a health war, made up of many individual battles. As she notes to Ellen, she has undergone 16 surgeries. Sarah adds that she has received two kidney transplants. She also has endometriosis, an extremely painful condition. A couple of years ago, her body went into rejection of her transplanted kidney, forcing her to go on dialysis. Sarah has also been plagued by gout, a condition in which agonizing crystals form, often on the joints of the hips. All of this was while she was filming Modern Family . Sarah opened up to Ellen about her constant agony and medical trauma nearly drove her to take her own life. “At the time I was 26, but after 26, 27 years of just always being sick and being in chronic pain every single day,” Sarah says. “And,” she continues. “You don’t know when you’re going to have the next good day, it’s really, really hard.” “I would write letters in my head to loved ones of why I did it,” she says, referring to contemplating suicide. “And,” she continues. “My reasoning behind it, how it was nobody’s fault.” “I didn’t want to write it down on paper,” Sarah adds. “Because I didn’t want anybody to find it.” “That’s how serious I was,” Sarah Hyland says. She admits that she came “very, very, very close” to ending her life. Sometimes, a person experiences a life change that helps them avoid acting upon suicidal ideation. But Sarah had to be her own hero. “It ended up being myself that got me out of that,” Sarah reveals. “I had to do it on my own,” Sarah explains. “I told myself I had to do it on my own.” She shares a tip that could help others save their own lives. “Just saying it out loud helped immensely,” Sarah reveals. “Because,” she continues. “I kept it to myself for months and months at a time,” “I didn’t want anybody to know that I was that close,” she explains. “Because if they knew,” Sarah adds. “They would try to persuade me.” “Every person with their anxiety or depression or if you have suicidal thoughts, every individual is different,” Sarah is quick to note. What worked for one person might not work for another. “So,” she continues. “I wouldn’t just rely on everything that I say.” “I’m just sharing my story,” Sarah emphasizes. “But,” she concludes. “I think talking to someone and saying it out loud really, really makes it sound almost ridiculous and it puts it into perspective.” Sarah's reasoning makes a lot of sense. Sometimes a problem, whether it's a relationship issue or a programming bug or a case of writer's block, has a solution. There are times when all that the person needs to do is explain the problem to another person in order for the solution to occur to them. In Sarah's case, she is saying that speaking about her suicidal ideation helped her to dismiss the idea of actually ending her life. She has so much to live for. There are millions of Americans with chronic pain who, thanks to reactionary laws and policies, are struggling to get effective painkillers. We hope that Sarah's brave words can help them and others.

Alexx, who found his match with Ashlee and Mike and Shea, who seemed to fall in love at first sight. Weeks before the cast reunited to revisit the ups and downs of the show, BOSSIP sat down with Mike and Shea to talk about the experience. BOSSIP: Do you think you two would have met if you hadn’t done the show? Shea: I don’t see how we could have, because I have a certain route and I don’t detour, I don’t hang out. I worked for the radio station but even then I chose not to be out, I’d be in the station running the boards. I’m just not a going out person. And I enjoy naps. BOSSIP: You guys were locked in from day one — was it love at first sight? Shea: For me the attraction was there, Mike did something that I don’t typically like, he did the come here [motions with her finger]. Mike: Soon as she walked in. Shea: And that was it. The conversation was fun, it wasn’t too heavy. He wasn’t trying to interrogate me, he had roots going back to the Midwest and he was funny and I could laugh. BOSSIP: Do you think it’s really that hard dating in Atlanta? Mike: Anything with Black folks gets a bad rap. Africa, Atlanta. I think Atlanta is a beautiful place, it’s the Wakanda of America. It’s thriving. You’ve got a bunch of young black entrepreneurs, the government is not holding you back. For me, as far as dating was concerned, because I don’t go to clubs, I don’t go to lounges, I’ve been here four or five years and people are like, where have you been? I go to bed at like 10. And if I go to the gym I’m not going to ask someone to remove their headphones to talk to me, I’m not shy or anything like that. I think people don’t self reflect enough, they just put it on the location. Because if you’re having problems dating in Atlanta, you’ll have problems in California or anywhere else. BOSSIP: What do you think made you guys’ situation go so much more smoothly than some of the others? Shea: What I like about Mike is we bounce a lot of ideas off each other, we both have unconventional lifestyles. I might say, ‘I can’t go to dinner, I’m too tired,’ and he’s fine with that. I’m not at a point anymore where I’m pressed about anything. If he’s busy I trust him, if I don’t see him today I’ll see him tomorrow. Mike: And it makes a man miss a woman. I’m not used to that. You don’t want it to become like washing dishes, damn I gotta wash the dishes. I don’t have to check in, She’s checking on and I like that about her. Shea: He has to have his personal space. You need to have your space on your own, outside of me and I gotta respect that, just like I may not want to be bothered everyday all day long either. We’ve got to respect each other’s boundaries and personal space. I do that with my son. I built a room in my garage for him to have his own little man cave so he doesn’t have to be up under me all the time. This show is about compatibility, not a competition. People keep saying it’s a competition. All of the women are beautiful. All the women have something to bring to the table. Mike isn’t going to work for every chick and every dude is not gonna work for me. I understood that early on. BOSSIP: One of the conflicts you had was that Mike wants kids and Shea, your first experience with motherhood was rough. How did you guys work past that? Shea: It was rough. He [her ex] put me through it, but I had to take into account he was young, we both had no idea what we were doing, we both were young. We weren’t compatible. It would be like buying a house with someone and then being like, no you do it, you got it. Mike: I think the misconception was that I was asking for a child right now. We don’t know each other well enough to say ‘Hey let’s have a child,’ it’s more so of — she had postpartum depression. I didn’t know anything about that, a lot of men don’t, so it was just like ‘Why wouldn’t you want to have a child?’ When she broke it down to me I had to understand from that aspect. I never had a child before. So I just had to understand and be patient. She’s open now, so now that we know she is open, when we get to that point we’re like okay, first we’re going to get married, because marriage is supposed to come before a baby. I didn’t wait 39 years to just throw a baby in somebody. I really do want to have a baby, but I didn’t want to let this woman go because everything about her is so dope. That’s why I learned patience too, because it was something so strong I took the time to find out why. I understand now and with time she said, ‘I could see you being a good father, so if we get to the point of marriage I would be willing to have children with you.’ Hit the flip for more from this beautiful couple.

During a visit to the set last Fall, BOSSIP got a chance to talk to Marsai about Little . She discussed coming up with the concept for the film at just 10 years old, being grateful, and more. “I was talking to Daddy and Mommy about some of their favorite movies when they were growing up and one of mine was BIG with Tom Hanks,” Marsai told BOSSIP at the time. “So that’s really how the idea was brought out, that’s where it all started and we started brainstorming, to see how we could create a black girl magic situation.” She continued, “At the Season 1 of black-ish , I think it was the season finale, dad went to Kenya like ‘Marsai has this dope idea.’ Kenya ended up liking it and right after was calling Will [Packer] like ‘Yo… Diane from black-ish has a dope idea.’ After that we had a meeting with him and James [Lopez] and after that he bought it and after that we went to Universal and they bought it and it wasn’t long before we shot it. Kelly” Lifetime documentary , journalist and television news host Touré has come under fire for some skeevy predatory behavior of his own. The pundit recently appeared on The Clubhouse Podcast with Mouse Jones and Jamilah Lemieux speaking more about the R. Kelly scandal, but was quickly called out in the comment section… A makeup artist who goes by the name @danimakeup on Instagram popped into the comments confused that Touré was going out of his way to take such a stand against people like R. Kelly (and Harvey Weinstein last year) when he himself had a penchant for getting inappropriate with women in the workplace — something she had experienced firsthand: “Every Monday I used to work with him on a show in 2017 and he couldn’t stop asking me to do anal, how I looked naked, if I had sex over the weekend, what it would be like to f*ck me, what his c*m would look kike on my face…I had to have the crew stay in the room with me while I got him ready…and when I left I called HR… he got fired instantly. He wrote me a huge apology for doing that in my DMs. Still have it. He did a 20/20 shoot in 2018 and I was there and he walked out. Dame Dash once again shared details of when he and Jay-Z’s became strained as a result of the rapper joining forces with Kelly on a joint album with Dash seemingly admitting that he looked the other way. Page Six reports : In a clip from an upcoming episode of Nick Cannon’s “Cannon’s Class,” the Roc-a-Fella Records co-founder admitted he regretted not saying anything when Jay-Z collaborated with Kelly, who wed Dame’s late girlfriend Aaliyah when she was just 15 years old. “I’m human, bro. But I had to look the other way, all these years,” Dash said. “So publicly that man did a record with the n—a that raped my girl, that he liked as well. Right? You understand what I’m saying? But no one said nothing.” Earlier in the clip, he also recalled Aaliyah’s reluctance to talk about her time with Kelly. The singer, who tragically died in a plane crash in 2001 when she was just 22, secretly wed Kelly in 1994, when she was just 15 after the two had collaborated on her debut album “Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number.” Her parents annulled the marriage the next year. When the world first learned that Jersey Shore would be returning to MTV , there were concerns that with the cast approaching middle-age, there wouldn’t be enough drama in their lives to sustain an entire season of television. Instead, the opposite has proven true, and it’s turned out that there’s more chaos and insanity in the guidos’ lives than could ever be contained in a single reality show. First, the relationship between Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley caused quite a stir on numerous occasions. Many assumed that the situation had come to a head when Jen dragged Ronnie with her car back in June of 2018, but amazingly, these two are still trying to make their relationship work. The same can’t be said of Jenni Farley and Roger Mathews. Jenni filed for divorce from Roger back in September but the situation has only gotten uglier in the months since. Mathews has begged Jenni to take him back in public and increasingly aggressive ways. Last month, Farley filed for a restraining order against her ex after an altercation at their home became violent. Like we said, there’s been no shortage of drama for the Seaside Six these days. And we haven’t even mentioned Mike Sorrentino’s prison sentence , which is scheduled to begin next week. But through it all, Vinny Guadagnino has mostly managed to keep his nose clean and his diet keto. “I just want him to know I am here for him,” the 30-year-old shares. “We are here for him as a safety net.” As for Farley, Vinny says he’s unconcerned about her emotional state, as he’s never met someone who’s cooler under pressure. “She’s like the exact example to follow when you have to go through something like that publicly, because she’s not impulsive; she doesn’t react on emotions, she’s like smart,” Guadagnino claims. Vinny says Jenni’s level-headed demeanor is mostly a result of the fact that she “wants the best for her children.” As for his own transition into adulthood, Vinny says his priorities have changed considerably since he turned 30 last year. While Vinny acknowledges his decade or so of hard-partying and promiscuity — saying he “had to go through that phase” — he claims those days are far behind him. These days, Vinny says his primary goals are to “get more sleep and just add on to my new healthy lifestyle.” We’re sure he’d also like to keep the Jersey Shore revival gravy train rolling. Of course, that might have to wait until The Sitch is finished serving his time. The drama never stops with this bunch! Pastor John Gray’s Wife Posts On Instagram Amid Cheating Rumors 2019 is starting off rocky for a popular Pastor and his First Lady. Pastor John Gray who’s beloved by celebs and his everyday parishioners alike, is the subject of fodder after an old sermon surfaced of him seemingly confessing to cheating on his wife Aventer Gray. In the video that’s reportedly years old but posted on YouTube this week, Gray says that they “smiled” through things although he and his wife were headed for divorce. He added that he “let some people get too close” to him which cause his wife to “set it off.” “We had to keep smiling because even though we were struggling,” said Gray. “Even though I was failing as a husband, I was already in front of the people and the people can’t really receive my brokeness because where do leaders go when they bleed? So I had to bleed alone. And what’s strange is I traveled the whole world and the Holy Ghost showed up and people got saved and me and wife just kept smiling and nobody knew we were getting ready to get a divorce. Because as long as I kept producing, nobody cared what was happening at home,” he continued. “I started listening to the wrong voices and let some people get too close. She found out and she set it off, just like a good wife should.” Aventer herself then jumped in and defended her hubby who was “spoken to by the devil.” And while she was heartbroken, she decided to stick by his side. “And then I prayed for them and him and then the devil loses,” she said. “Because what’s not going to happen is you tell me that I’m going to lose my purpose because someone whispered to a ’16-year-old John’.
